Have I got a treat for your eyes today...

A stunning little buckaroo box card... care of Darling Donkeys (which can be yours for free with a £45 purchase during Sale A Bration...) 

I have to admit that this really made my day yesterday... I needed a pick-me-up and this card certainly did it for me... I wow-ed and smiled... and laughed and oooh'd... and then I am really glad to report... that I went onto have a creative marathon .... so lots of projects ready to share....

So this fabulous card... is not made by yours truly... but by Rebecca Deary... a lovely fellow demonstrator, team member and friend...

This was sent with love... hence the hearts... as part of a "Give A Little Love card chain"... and it reminded me... how much a  handmade card really is like "a hug with a fold in the middle" as the saying goes... 

So try it... it comes highly recommended... as both a giver... and a receiver... 

Just send someone a card... with a heart to show that you care... just to say hello and give them a hug... 

I am on a mission now... wonder how many cards with hearts I can make to arrive by 14th Feb... anyone care to join me?

Though I admit that the 2 cards I have sent so far were much simpler than Rebecca's gorgeous card...

UK SHIPPING UPDATE

Latest information received regarding deliveries from Stampin' Up!...

We’ve received some additional information regarding current UK shipping challenges from our logistics and shipping vendors in Europe. We were just notified that all shipments UPS has in its possession will be released to leave for the UK this weekend, and the balance of shipments will be on their way by Tuesday.

As an example... I have a parcel which was ready for despatch/UPS collection on 4 Jan... and so on its way in the UPS carrier part of the system since then... which was showing as being scheduled for delivery last Tuesday 12 Jan, then/now last Thursday, 14 Jan... now expected this Tuesday, 19th Jan...

Our logistics vendor is preparing the correct documentation and meeting customs requirements. They are running behind largely due to higher sales/order volume and are staffing two shifts, six days per week in an effort to get caught up. As of 15 January, our Europe logistics vendor is picking orders that were placed on 10 January.

UPS is currently at maximum capacity and doing all they can to process shipments. They have a task force operating 24/7 to work on process and customs issues. Other shipping carriers are not processing orders into or out of the UK at this time, which has increased volume for UPS. We’ve also been informed that Europe customs has been updating software required to process export applications to the UK, which has contributed to delays.

We will continue requesting updates from our logistics and shipping vendors, and share information as we are able.

Basic White is in the House...

Just shouting out about our new Basic White card and paper product line... which is replacing our Whisper White product line... which is exciting news... but full background details at the end of this post...

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long with a huge fan base. We love it and we know you love it, too. 

So we were devastated that it's going (gone) away... but unfortunately the supplier’s mill producing Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, Stampin' Up! weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of the other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured we jumped straight into action to find the best replacement card possible. Many hours were dedicated to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. And as a result... we have found a winner in our new cardstock, Basic White!

The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. We believe in the quality of the new Basic White cardstock and we know it will become your new crafting staple!

I know I can't wait to give it a good go!

Love You Always Suite #2 & Kit in the Mail

Getting back to the lovely Love You Always suite... full of products to celebrate any occasion but particularly Valentines & Friends with a few hearts, flowers and lovely words thrown into the mix!

However just the floral papers and foil sheets make this a must have for me... for any occasion... so read on about the co-ordinated UK only Kit I have put together.... And of course any stamps and dies etc can be added as desired... just let me know which you would like adding... 

Though I have now updated the Kits...as I hadn't spotted or included the stunning Speciality papers or the Heart Charms which I think are too good to miss!! So now there is a second upgraded-version of the Kit for you... for you foil lovers!
