Retro Fresh Cards–Team Training Inspiration

Following on from yesterdays post showing the Briefcase Mini Album Team Training project…. I had also quickly made some cards to show using some of the Retro Fresh Journalling Tags  & papers. Most of these are what I call concept cards ie cards made to just show off a different idea …. and I was also aiming to make a set of cards suitable for all sorts of occasions….. And no they did not get to make these at the Training session  too… that really would have taken everyone all day!!! Although I was originally asked to do 6 cards and a mini book…! Luckily Julie believed me when I said it would be FAR too much for the session!!!

So looking at them individually…..

Simple centre step Birthday card plus full Journalling Tag– and using the car image from the Rev Up the Fun stamp set….

Spectacular Specs clean & simple square card…. Specs cut out of Journalling Tag plus Spectacular greeting from Eggstra Spectacular…. match made in heaven!!!

New Home simple easel card – with the full High 5 Journalling Tag as it looks like a house – and to mark the celebration. And as we don’t have the greeting New Home … I had to get inventive….so the NEW HOME is spelt out from letters using the Oh Goodie stamp set we got for free at convention... I do now have some other ideas for that stamp set…..

Congrats…on passing your driving test… and now I went really…. mad!!! The Congrats Journalling Tag reminded me of a rosette – so I cut it out & just added some washi tape to make the tails… The cap of the Awesome Ketchup Bottle Journalling Tag reminded me of a traffic cone!!!! The card itself is a Scalloped Tag Topper Punch Centre Flap fold Card…. think that card may have to go on the Tutorials to write up list….

Thanks card… simple tent card plus full Journalling Tag and BABY punched out of another Journalling Tag using the ticket punch.

CAS present card… just the reverse of a spare Journalling Tag...plus a bow made using the envelope punch board….

Oh Snap – Sorry… really clean & simple card just with the Journalling Tag plus an On Film frame…

Shirt Card…another very simple tent fold card – the shirt is just another spare Journalling Tag – the tie and collar being cut from another couple of Journalling Tag– with an extra bit of washi tape on the tie
