We had our big team Quarterly Team Training event today - and I was asked to demo some of my earlier shared makes using the Woodland embossing folder and Heat & Stick powder. A real technique based demo if there ever was...
So me being me had to remake a set so that the colours actually all co-ordinated!
And then Julie decided that everyone could make them...and everyone did! What an honour! Think they all liked them - once some got over their fear of such dark ink on an embossing folder!! And every card was fab....
So here is the set of 5 cards - with some individual photos too...
Unfocused photo above so you can hopefully see how sparkly this one is!
I mainly used the combination of Night & Navy, Smoky Slate and Whisper White - but then I was told that we had gold foil in the training kit - so a quick last minute "goldify" later - and here you have them... though I could not bring myself to put a blue tree on the bottom centre card - so that one went Crumb Cake...
And do check out the glittery Snowflake Elements - they are so gorgeous - whether you use clear Versamark - or Whisper White craft ink - plus Heat & Stick/Dazzling Diamonds - or gold glitter. Think you will be seeing more of those....
This colour combination also defined the colours I used for my swap card (shared yesterday) - as I had to share the Dazzling Diamonds Tile technique too - and that seemed to be the most effective way to get a 6th card using Heat & Stick into everyones' hands
A gorgeous set Amanda - I'm sure the girls loved making them at training.
ReplyDeleteThanks JOANNE. Never seen so much glitter over so many people at the same time!
