Jems September Blog Hop - Autumn Colour Challenge - Half Full

Welcome to the Jems Team Blog Hop with a theme of Autumnal Colours... and it was yesterday's Blog Hop that was supposed to be a challenge!!! But again... I have a little card duo for you...
I don't have any specific autumnal stamp sets... and the thought of Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler or any of the oranges brings me out in a sweat! But I had a (maybe) inspired colour moment with the stamp set I had out... so here you go...

So it is time to introduce you to another of my favourite new stamp sets from the Autumn Winter Catalogue just released... so here is Half Full... designed by Million $ Sales Achiever demonstrator, Linda Bauwin... thanks Linda! Love it... Available in Wood Mount and Clear Mount...
Half Full Wood-Mount Stamp Set
Now whilst I can't wait to use these to present alcohol related gifts in a beautifully decorative way... I thought a quick clean & simple sponged card would do the job for my very big challenge for today...
So I sponged through a die cut circular aperture with Crushed Curry and a very very light touch of Cajun Craze to add some texture... then I added some Tuscan Vineyard grapes in Sahara Sand to calm it down a bit and some more visual interest!

A quick Half Full wine bottle and glass (water coloured with Old Olive to represent white wine in an autumnal sort of way... and a Cherry Cobbler seal ) later and there you have it...
Finished off on a small square Old Olive card blank... (10.5cm square for A4 card -with 10cm Whisper White stamped panel...or 4 1/4" Square if using US Letter -with 4" Whisper White stamped panel)
But whilst I was at it I couldn't resist repeating in something more christmassy... so here you have a second small square one layer card... with a Pool Party sponged aperture... Colorful Seasons Pool Party stamped snowflakes... Sahara Sand white wine... Cherry Cobbler red wine... with the glass lightly water coloured in Soft Sky (which unfortunately I forgot to do on my autumnal sample before taking the photos!)... and a sprig of holly to finish...
Just had to do this so I could share this great sentiment pair... now you can see the red wine!!
And now it is time to pass you onto the lovely Karen... who I have to thank for 2 things... firstly for stepping in and organising us for this month's Blog Hop... and secondly for the hardest Color Challenge I have ever had!! LOL...
Just press on the arrow to move on...
