So this is the swap card I designed for the Stampin' Up! On Stage event in Solihull, UK yesterday...
A simple little sponged eastern mountain scene... with Artistically Asian bamboo & lettering to finish... click here for details on sponging your own little scene... though I did add a touch of Powder Pink to the top of my mountains on this little eastern mountain scene....
And otherwise this is a post of thank yous!
First of all to Zoe and Jill for your invaluable assistance in making these cards... I actually don't think I would have been able to make any without your help! And I hope you learnt something new about bulk making too... And Hilda, Moya and Nicky for being there in spirit... albeit not on the day... I know how much you wanted to be there...
Secondly... to the 100 or so of you that swapped with me for this card... I may have been a demo for nearly 10 years... and have learnt SO much in that time... but I still find our swapping process so inspirational and a wonderful way to get to know some new very talented people.... love it!
Even though I have to admit that I do not actually like bulk making of cards... but fortunately I am blest with my "assistants"... who love to come and create and chat as we go along! Makes it all a lot more pleasant & fun... and it also makes me stop to decide on a design & make the day before & then get on and do on the day...
Hello Amanda the card is so lovely and I am proud to have one of these - thanks for swapping with me. Thanks as well for walking the stage with me:-) Great to see you again.x
