Stitched Rectangles Joy Fold Card Tutorial

So here we have the second part of my series of Needlepoint Nook Stitched Rectangles Step It Upped Z Fold card Tutorials... and I know some of you are particularly wanting to create this one...

These 3 cards are specifically sized to have equal spacing around  our Stitched Rectangles die cuts... and each card fold is a "step up" on the previous one... as that was the theme of our Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop for which I created these cards...
Today we have the Joy Fold card.... which has been around for a long while... and I have made plenty over the years... such as this 5" square Mother's Day one here (with Tutorial too)
Recipe & Tutorial for Stitched Rectangles Joy Fold Card
Please note that the US (inches) version is just converted literally from this Rest of the World (metric) version

Recipe
Card Highland Heather 14 x 21cm (5 1/2" x 8 1/4")
Card Balmy Blue 12 x 9.5cm (4 3/4" x 3 3/4")
(D)* Card Thick Whisper White 3" x 11cm [x2] (3" x 4 1/4"[x2])
Paper Left/Front 4.7 x 13.5cm (1 13/16" x 5 1/4")
Paper Right/Back 10 x 13.5cm (3 7/8" x 5 1/4")

Paper Inside 5.5 x 9cm (2 1/8" x 3 1/2")
Stamps - Needle & ThreadMore Than Words
Papers - Needlepoint Nook
Dies - Rectangles Stitched

Inks - Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride, Mossy Meadow, Berry Burst, Rich Razzleberry
where (D) is for die-cutting My white Stitched Rectangles is 5.6 x 9.1cm (2 3/16" x 3 9/16") I intentionally cut my pieces of Whisper White relatively large for die cutting my 2 Stitched Rectangles... as that way I got a nice deep frame for using on other projects (see the one on the right) You could get away with a smaller piece of Whisper White eg 6 x 9.5cm (2 1/2 x 3 7/8")  and still have a nice frame (see the one on the left!)... hope the next photo makes it all clear!

Tutorial
1. Score Highland Heather panel LANDSCAPE at 5.25 & 10.5cm (2 1/16" & 4 1/8")
2. Bone Fold Mountain/Valley
3. Score Balmy Blue LANDSCAPE panel at 6cm (2 3/8")

4. Valley Bone Fold (with fold to right hand side)

5. Die cut 2 Stitched Rectangles
6. Ink up & Stamp rectangles as requiredTIPS

(a) the TO YOU on the inside panel is from Happy Birthday To You in the Needle and Thread set... I just used a Mossy Meadow marker pen on the words I wanted
(b) For the WISHES from More Than Words... Stamp bottom half in Rich Razzleberry, overstamp WISHES in Berry Burst and then Easter in Mossy Meadow
(c) The stitching elements are stamped in Balmy Blue

7. Die Cut & Punch as required (TIP- the centres on the 2 smaller flowers at the top right are punched from 2 Blushing Bride stamped flowers using a (retired) 3/8" circle punch)
8. Adhere papers

9. Adhere folded smaller Balmy Blue panel centrally to RH back face
10. Adhere 2 stamped Rectangles to Balmy Blue panel
11. Adhere floral & leaf decorations

TIPS -
(a) place the top right leaves as far onto your front section as possible... I just trimmed between my leaves slightly so that they could lay flat when the panel is opened up... but I think I could have stuck them on better in the first place if I had thought about it!!
12. Fold over card front section
13. Place front/left leaves and flowers so that the bottom left corner of your folded Balmy Blue panel pops behind the large 3D'd (Berry Burst) flower... so as to hold your card closed

Et Voila...
