Fun Fold Friday - Easy Step Card Tutorial

Back with the tutorial as promised... for both the Easy (aka Simple) Centre Step Card AND Side Step Card... as the only difference is where you stick your front up & over panel... be it centred (as on the Tutorial sample)... or offset to one side (as on most of the others)...

Recipe
Main Card 14.8 x 20cm
Up & Over Panel 7.4 x 21cm *
Paper 14.3 x 7cm ; 14.3 x 2cm
Thin White Card - Inside: 14.3 x 7cm Front: 6.9 x 10cm
Plus white scraps for stamping the flowers and leaves

OR click here for the tutorial for Julie's original (US A2/inches) version that inspired my creations... Though I used a longer Up & Over panel* as I thought it slightly easier to score in half and assemble this way...
* This panel would be 3" x 8 1/2" scored LANDSCAPE at 4 1/4" to go with with Julies version...

1.     Score Main Card panel LANDSCAPE at 7.5, 15 & 17.5cm

2.     Bone fold mountain, valley & mountain

3.     Score Up & Over panel LANDSCAPE at 10.5cm

4.     Mountain bone fold

5.     Adhere papers to front faces of main card

6.     Adhere white card panel to inside face

7.     Put glue on front base section where required (ie centre or offset)
TIP - using grid paper useful for lining/eyeing things up for next steps...

8.     Adhere Up & Over panel to front/base section... ensuring things all lined up on front and back sections...

9.     Put glue on back of main card panel where required

10. Adhere Up & Over panel to back of main card panel

11. Ink up, stamp , colour and hand cut 2 flower duos, 1 leaf spray and 6 leaves as required.

TIP - I simply flicked Stampin Blends out from the centre of the flowers for a subtle colour effect...

12. Glue 2 leaves together to form 3pairs

13. Place card onto envelopeTIP - very important! It saves sticking flowers where they won't fit in the envelope!!!

14. Adhere white card panel to Up & Over section

15. Adhere top left leaves… (Note- leaves are stuck flat)

16. Adhere flowers (Note- flowers are 3D foamed)

17. Ink up & stamp greeting
18. Adhere rest of flowers and leaves
TIP - you could ink up and stamp the leaf spray direct onto the white panel to avoid fussy cutting if preferred!
And voila...

And here's a group shot for you... with all the Friendly Hello versions I made..

Note that the even simpler aka Easiest versions in the central slots above (and previously shared here)  just have Whisper White Main Card and Up & Over panels (so no extra thin white panels needed)... and the Granny Apple Green version does not have the 14.3 x 2cm piece of paper...
