More Sale A Bration projects–Blooming Marvellous

Less than 30 hours now until the end of Sale A Bration...... And some more projects to share using another of the free SAB stamps .... the gorgeous Blooming Marvellous stamp set this time... Lovely words and beautiful images from nature.... you can tell that this was my firm favourite of the sets to start off with… lots of projects on this post!!!!

The first card is one I have done before.. which is inspired by a card created at our Quarterly Jems training last October – the original creation being by fellow and very talented team member Sally Jo Houghton. Still loving it Sally Jo!!!

The first of the next 3 is a case of a card by Mary Fish of Stampin Pretty  and then the further inspirations just followed….

 

And finally you cannot get simpler than these two…. and sometimes I find that that is all you need!!

Jules Jems Training Swap & Sale A Bration Inspiration Station

Yesterday was the re-scheduled Jules Jems Training Day, the original date being postponed because of lots and lots of the white stuff!! Julie had asked me to do an Inspiration Station with projects produced using the Sale A Bration free products ( one free for every £45 ordered!!!) So I had a ball!!!  Though with 11 SAB exclusive items to go at… it took quite a while… but hey ho … a girl has to have a play from time to time….  Great Fun!!

Here are a few shots of my Inspiration Table… some of the projects you have seen on here… and as you can see there are many more to come!! I tried to vary the level of projects – from the simplest of simples, through Classic CAS ( Clean & Simple), the Fancy Folds and some … well just concepts really!! And even a few “Sillies!”

 

The Training Day itself was super! I really enjoy these days…. both socially and creatively….. Great bunch of ladies, some new friends, some long-time-no-see friends, many laughs, fantastic projects made, superb swaps, inspiring “talks” from Julie, 2 other fabulous Inspiration Stations from the incredibly talented Yvonne and Anne Marie (and Julies of course) … great food and … of course, fantastic Silver Anniversary cupcakes!! Thanks again Mell!  Want to see the projects and the cupcakes….. then go to Julie’s blog here…. They are definitely worth a look!

Talking of swaps… this was mine…. I found it so hard deciding on a project that could be quickly reproduced 44 times! CAS was obviously the way , it had to be A SAB project to link in with my Station and I challenged myself to use the stamp set that initially didn’t “swing it” for me… Madison Avenue… which I now absolutely LOVE!!!

The inspiration for the colour and the flower came from this card by fellow US demo Sandi MacIver (which I had also CASED  for my Inspiration Table – thanks to Sandi for being so willing to share her creation and for such a lovely e-chat!) The detail I had to add  - and share - was just in the little flower… the Itty Bitty Flower Punch is just perfect for punching out that little image in the stamp set… simples!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And here is my CASED sample of Sandi’s card … I am definitely a big fan of this Pool Party and Sahara Sand colour combination… on its own or with any other colour as a 3rd colour …. so it allows for great flexibility for my class ladies who all have their favourite, but different, colour.

Stampin’ Up! Sale A Bration– Blooming Marvellous meets the Scallop Square die! With a Mini Tutorial as well!

So here is Part 4 of my Sale A Bration Projects share… a Fancy Fold card this time…  using the gorgeous Blooming Marvellous stamp set – yes this is another set that you can get for free with an order of over £45 until 22 March…..

This card showcases my new favourite die for this month!! The Lattice Die…. lot of detail but a simple look… just like its owner!!! And loads of ways to use it…. more coming at some point!!

And yet another Scallop Square Die project has slipped in… this must be about no 30 shared on this blog…. time to move on me thinks… though I do have some tutorials yet to post with the how tos…. I took a lot of step by step photos… and then misplaced them!! But I found them all this week…..

As the How-To-Do-That (Aka Mini Tutorial) for this one – you need to take a 12” x 4 3/4” piece of card.

Score Landscape at 4 1/4” and 7 5/8” and bone fold ( one as a mountain and the other as a valley)

Place the folded panel on your Scallop Square die with the folds placed one scallop in from either side (piccys below.. may help.. may not!!) The elevated fold to the LHS is placed one scallop in from the LHS.. trust me!!

 

Die cut. You end up with a concertina fold card base

Stampin’ Up! Sale A Bration–Patterned Occasions

Part 2 of my Sale A Bration (SAB) projects shares. This time using the ever so cute but simple Patterned Occasions stamp set – again free with any order of £45…….

Again another of the favourites of my ladies… and I have to admit that I have gone elephant mad since…. I just love this image ( even though I don’t normally do animal images… at all!)

 

Also had to immediately put my latest wording set to good use too… I love the “hello, baby” wording from the Sweet Essentials set .. so here are a couple more Baby versions to share….. much much more of this wording set to come!!
