Happy Spirited Snowmen Boxing Day!

Hope you are still having fun and enjoying a lovely Christmas...

Today will be a couple of new traditions for us... as we go out for a Boxing Day meal en famille... and then my little band of 3 go to a Boxing Day rugby match at York Rugby Club with lots of friends from school and rugby club days... should be a great re-union of son's and our friends alike!
Thought you may like to see a pretty snowman today... or should I say Snow Baby!

Thanks for the inspiration Rebecca Deary!
And this is what I reckon is a wrap for Christmas based projects!!! Well for this year!

Stampin Up! Products used...
Spirited Snowmen (Sniff... not carrying over!)
Buffalo Check (Carryover! Horrah!)
Swirls & Curls embossing folder ( carryover... yay!)

Merry Christmas to You and Yours...

I hope that you all have the loveliest of days... spent with the people most precious to you... doing things special to you all...

We for one will be "en famille complete"... brother over from the US... son back from university... and all of us over at my mum and dads...where I have to pretend that I do know how to operate their oven properly!!
Though I did learn years ago... to take everything for the meal over on trays and in pans etc so I don't need to spend hours searching amongst every cupboard in the house!!!

And I am REALLY hoping to be organised enough this year... and the timings right... for us younger ones to go out and get a lot of fresh air around the Harewood estate!!
So this is the Farmhouse Christmas Box Frame variant I have made for my mother... as she does prefer her neutrals...

Papers flipped to the Grey Granite stars side... And the addition of lots of red gemstones onto the large christmas fir tree at the front... wish I had thought of this detail for the rest... but hey better late than never...
Recipe and more information on the Tutorial for this make can be found here...

It's almost time! Happy Christmas Eve... with Dashing Deer

So a quick share of some more Christmas cards which are 5 variants on a theme... based upon this card here...

And these will be arriving with Spring Summer Catalogues and Sale A Bration leaflets  at some of your houses... sometime in the post soon... automatically for those of you ordering over £40 of Stampin' Up! product over the past year... but...
For anyone else that is in the market for Stampin' Up! products... yes I would love to be your Demonstrator.... so please do not hesitate to contact me for your own copies in the mail...

But back to the card... and the first 3 variants are up first...

First up... a switch to Smoky Slate and Balmy Blue colours... for a brighter feel...
Then a switch from a stamped background panel to a Twinkle Twinkle starry panel... as I had a few of these panels left over from all my Farmhouse Christmas box frames!!
And then a version with the paper flipped to the Granite Gray starry background on the other side... and Sahara Sand deer and greetings...
Though I do have to admit to the greeting not making as much sense with the stars as it does the snowflakes!!!! Just didn't think about that at the time...

And spot that I did move the snow banks when I re-made these cards to this design ... much better positioning of the deer's tummy!
So which one do you prefer? Snow... Blue... or Grey?
But wait ... there's more... I then needed to make a few more...
So I simplified the design another step... so another 2 variants... though blink and you may miss the difference!
Both without a matted panel... just the paper background...

Simple Sunday Snowman card

Or should I call this... Want to build a snowman?
I love this card... though it is probably one of the quickest ones I have put together this year!
Put together being the operative wording... as all the parts were leftovers from other projects that just magically went together... as you do...
Quite  lot of products used though... Farmhouse Christmas bare tree, Rooted in Nature fir tree duo, Santa's Workshop papers snowman and elf... and greeting and snowflakes from Snow is Glistening (which was only available in November)
Spot that the last 2 photos are of an even more simple version...no snowflakes in the air! Though I think they are necessary bearing in mind the Snow is Glistening greeting!
