Merry Monday - Farmhouse Christmas Trio... Lit Box Frame, Bridge U Fold Card & Bakers Box Light

I have had a lot of Tutorial orders over the past few days for the Trio of projects I made last year using Farmhouse Christmas along with Winter WoodsRooted in Nature and Merry Christmas To You... (all of which have stamps and co-ordinating dies but only available separately now)
So I have realised that most of the products used are still available OR replaceable... so I thought I should share the information again in the one place... with pointers for creating something very similar this year...
Just click on the Add to Cart button below to order and pay for the Tutorial bundle. This covers the Box Frame, Bakers Box and Bridge U Fold card  - and is a 15 page pdf document with lots of photos. Payment and currency conversions handled by Paypal. No Paypal account needed as Paypal or major credit cards can be accepted.
Edited 11am UK time to add: the "Paypal button glitch" has now been sorted! Thank you for your patience...
But firstly, Farmhouse Christmas is sadly no longer available (unless you are lucky enough to have it on the Clearance Rack in your territory! Even if you only have the dies for those fences!)
But an alternative tree or a deer would look nice instead.... or we have a few houses around... albeit mostly smaller... such as From Our Home to Yours...
Or even Grandmas House...
And you could even make a simple "Hygge" style one of your own! And there are lots of stamp sets with bare branch trees around... Natures

Here's the card example with a couple of Dashing Deer deer instead of a house... yup that would work nicely!
Secondly, the Twinkle Twinkle papers are not around... but there is a fabulous copper foiled stars on Night of Navy sheet in the Brightly Gleaming pack... so that's a really easy replacement...
Incidentally  (as I write this post) Brightly Gleaming has just come back into stock in the UK and so is orderable for us again (in Europe) though I have just checked and it is already on back order... but you can still order it now and it will arrive separately when it is back in stock...

And the Bakers Boxes are still available...
Or you could easily produce a 12x12 background sheet using inks as I did for the Bridge U Fold Card

The wood Merry & Noel embellishments are not around either... but easily replaced with about 5 die-cut Merry Christmas "merry"s - all stacked on top of each other to add the depth...
And last but not least... those die cut fences... I'd just go with an extra snow bank...but...

A picket type fence could be made using the Classic Label Punch and scraps of Whisper White card... shorten the punched shape down to about 1" with the point left to form the top of the picket fence...and stick onto thin strips of white card... with about 1/8"-3/16" gap in between. They won't be as intricate as the pictured fences... but they will do the job...
These projects were incredibly popular last year in classes... and I am definitely glad this is a set I wrote up the Tutorials for... though that was a "labour of love" last year I can tell you!!!

And I am now really looking forward to getting these all out again this Christmas... though I am quite tempted to make the alternative I have just described!!

Birthday Cheer Lidded Box Frame Card for 3D Thursday...

A re-work of an old classic... a Lidded Box Frame card... for which you will find an original and the Tutorial here....

Updated using Broadway Bound papers... and the new Birthday Cheer bundle... perfect for whom I had in mind...

Talking of Birthday Cheer... which I have just opened and am very inspired by...

The dies are running low in stock in Europe... and sadly it is not carrying over into the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue... so now only available while supplies last... so get them whilst you can...

And the Broadway Bound papers will likely be on the Retiring List come 15th April too... as it is so rare for any papers to carryover from year to year...

Though as these have been really popular in these parts... I would really like to be proven wrong!
And an admittance... as this is the other card that I produced on Tuesday... which I made a very last minute mistake on... with my scream being heard for miles around (probably)...

Wonder how many of you can see it straightaway!?
Suffice to say... I then had to make another card to get one off in the post...
As I ripped up all the front when I pulled by sideways-on panel off!!!
Rectification job for another day then! As I can never let things go to waste...

Merry Christmas to You and Yours...

I hope that you all have the loveliest of days... spent with the people most precious to you... doing things special to you all...

We for one will be "en famille complete"... brother over from the US... son back from university... and all of us over at my mum and dads...where I have to pretend that I do know how to operate their oven properly!!
Though I did learn years ago... to take everything for the meal over on trays and in pans etc so I don't need to spend hours searching amongst every cupboard in the house!!!

And I am REALLY hoping to be organised enough this year... and the timings right... for us younger ones to go out and get a lot of fresh air around the Harewood estate!!
So this is the Farmhouse Christmas Box Frame variant I have made for my mother... as she does prefer her neutrals...

Papers flipped to the Grey Granite stars side... And the addition of lots of red gemstones onto the large christmas fir tree at the front... wish I had thought of this detail for the rest... but hey better late than never...
Recipe and more information on the Tutorial for this make can be found here...

Beautiful Box Frame Wreath for Merry Monday

As you all know...  I love to share my team's creations from time to time... and today is no exception to that rule as I seriously love Kate's beautiful home decor project... and I know you will too...

A true stunner in a frame... incorporating an Ikea Ribba 23cm Box Frame with lots of punching and die-cutting using the Sprig Punch, and Pretty Pines, Everyday Jars, Large Letters dies...

And finished off with a touch of Frost White Shimmer Paint on the letters and greenery...
Didn't she do (very) well!  So thanks so much for letting me share Kate....

I just love it... so now where is my spare Box Frame!!!? And guess who is about to order the Sprig Punch!!!

Wednesday WOW... Farmhouse Christmas Box Frame Light Decor

And this did indeed WOW...

And I do have to admit to this... maybe... being my most favourite project I have created ever... it certainly made me very happy when I had finished it... and turned on the lights... And it will be coming out every Christmas from now on...
Box Frame from Aldi when they were doing a special the other week... but any other brand would work! External 25cm (nearly 10"). Internal 21.5cm (8 1/2") Though do note that the Aldi frames have the glass at the back... so it had to be removed totally for this project... whereas other makes have the glass at the front... so I could have left it in...

Lights from Poundland... 10 bright white light wire string with AA battery box version used here... though a coin box version would have been easier... but funnily enough the work round was quite good, tidy and invisible in the end!
Twinkle Twinkle papers used for the night sky as just so perfect for the job!! I would really love a whole 12 sheet pack of this pattern!!! Though quite a lot of the other patterns in this pack actually do work for Christmas too...

Again lots of  use of the stamps and dies in Farmhouse ChristmasMerry Christmas to All ,Winter Woods and Rooted in Nature... with a lot of Stampin Blends action for colouring...
And my favourite detail... spot the merry to the top left... this starts off life as a flat grey embellishment... which was great... but a bit of Sponge Dauber and Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint action later... and you end up with a lovely silvery and shimmery embellishment instead! Little detail... Big effect!

Though it may be difficult to see how silvery... and how well it shimmers in the photo!! So you may just have to trust me ...and try it!
And yes this project is available to create in my workshops throughout November & December... just book in now to avoid disappointment!!! Which is code for I only have a certain number of the box frames left in stock... though I can always get more!! Half Day (2 1/2 hour) for £20... or free with a £65 Stampin' Up! order
Live in the UK? Full multi project Tutorial file available when you purchase Farmhouse Christmas (or products to £40 value or more if you already have the set!) through my Online Store... but please remember to add the current Host Code to the field where prompted... Current Host Code to be found to the top right hand side of this blog page...

Not in the UK... or a UK demo? Just click on the Add to Cart button below to order and pay £5 for the Tutorial bundle. This will cover the Box Frame, Bakers Box and Bridge U Fold card shared 10-12 October - and will be in the form of a 15 page pdf document with lots of photos. Payment and currency conversions handled by Paypal. No Paypal account needed as Paypal or major credit cards can be accepted.

And there are more class dates being arranged... though I am already booked up till 22 Nov...
