Home Sweet Home Church with Stained Glass Window

Just found the photos of my little church with its stained glass window... I thought I had shared this ages ago... but apparently not!

So without further ado... here it is...

The stained glass window is actually the fancy stocking (from the Hang Your Stocking stamp set) stamped onto a vellum panel and then coloured on the reverse using Sharpie (permanent) markers.
It works so well as there are 2 little window dies in the Home Sweet Home set that cut the holes for both the top arched window and the bottom rectangular window. Then you have 2 more little dies that cut the window frames that are stuck around the holes.

And the spire... less said the better! It worked ... but it was tricky... so a re-think/re-design/template is required before I would run this in classes... and I made it too tall when I created it too!! But I think you get the idea...
And yet again... I have used the Halloween Speciality papers for those lovely stones/bricks...

Christmas Church in a Lantern - Stampin' Up! meets Tim Holtz Village!

This has to be my favourite project of the year... so far!!

A project where Stampin' Up! Santa's Sleigh meets Tim Holtz Village dies... with Halloween Night Speciality papers and a whole load of glitter thrown in... a perfect Christmas Lantern... finished off with flickering lights...
Although taking good photos proved difficult!

And I am not alone... so a few more December classes are now being arranged to make one of these... as everyone who has seen it in the flesh seem to want to make one of their own!
So please contact me here to book now - or to register your interest. Just £20 for a half day class in Great Ouseburn, North Yorkshire with everything included.... and sorry but this is not available as a Class in the Mail option...
So glad I was made to go back to the Gift Company shop in Telford after the Stampin Up On Stage event! Thanks Sharon and Jane!! Look what happened... though you would have laughed at the 2 very large boxes that turned up with my subsequent order... taller than me!!
