More on Monday - Pressed Petals cards #5 with Round Up...

So I made 6 cards with the "card topper" piece of Pressed Petals paper... and here is the last one...
There were more toppers to use to create more... but then "life got in the way"... so I had to quickly put it everything away... which was a shame as I was really enjoying making these...
But I hope that these give you some ideas as to what to do with your papers....
And here are the 4 cards using the Sorry for Everything stamp set...
So you can get a better idea of some of the sentiments included...
Though these were my favourite cards with the suite... click on the pictures to go straight there... with the Card Fold Tutorial being on the green Get Well Soon one!

Tuesday Pressed Petals Two-Fer... #3

Two more for your money with the Pressed Petals papers & suite ... along with the Sorry For Everything stamp set... which I have just been re-united with!

A great stamp set to say those things that are difficult to say... and that just need adding to a card when you need it... rather than being pre-made and put in a box ready to go!!

Though I have to admit that I definitely prefer to have them made and ready for when I need them... but I seem to be on my own in that regard! How about you?
And a round up shot of the cards in the series so far for you too!

Both these cards are larger than usual... as that was just the way they worked out as I trimmed them to size based upon the paper panels as they come...

And they are both different sizes... but in hindsight I would use the same size Merry Merlot card blank.... and trim my pre-prepared panel to suit! Life is so much easier that way!
So I started to re-calculate... but then I realised that I didn't even have any envelopes that I could pop these into... as C5s are too large and 5x7"s are too small...

Though I do have some 16cm Square (6 5/16") envelopes that would actually fit the shorter (wood background) card in... in a fashion!
So sorry (as the stamp set says!)... no time for a total re-design this week... so I have to quickly move on... and I will just have to remember to make up a bespoke envelope when the time comes!!

But... for your information...  both cards are 14cm/5 1/2" wide... the taller at 6 3/4"(script background) and the shorter at 6 1/4" (wood background)
And being honest... me being me... I would re-make to a 14cm/5 1/2" Square card if I was starting from scratch! Especially the wood background one... which would then just be the same as the recipe shared here...

More Pressed Petals on Monday... #2

Following on with my #simplestamping little Pressed Petals series...  here's another of the pre-decorated card panels quickly made up into a card...

Using wood on wood this time... as the paper pack does have some lovely background papers to set off these panels...

Cad and mat details the same as this earlier card in the series... but with 10.5 x 13.5cm (4 1/8" x 5 5/16") flowery and 3.5 x 13.5cm (1 3/8" x 5 5/16") wood paper panels this time
And finished off with a Merry Merlot Butterfly Wishes small punched butterfly...

Pressed Petals Keeping It Simple.. #1

After creating the 2 Pop Up Cards shared here (with Tutorial) and here...

I thought it time to do something with those ready made panels I had carefully trimmed when I opened the paper pack... See the sheet to the left hand side in the photo below...
A few minutes later and the first card was made... proving that these panels are just the thing to have to hand when you are in a rush for a card... or indeed a handmade gift... or packaging... as they are kind of a card topper... decorated and ready to go...
Large Square card (14cm Square or 5 1/2" Square) with 9cm (3 9/16") Very Vanilla mat... for the  3 1/2"/8.9cm cut panel... With side paper panels 6.7cm x 13.5cm (2 5/8" x 5 5/16")

Greetings from Magnolia Blooms  - white embossed in centre... Mossy Meadow around the edges...

Finished off with a doubled small Linen Thread bow...

Sunday Suite - Pressed Petals

Now this Pressed Petals Suite is one that has definitely grown on me... a lot!
Scroll on to see it all in its glory... and/or click here or on the icon below to see a video share...
Being really honest... I first saw SO many flowers on the Pressed Petals papers when I glanced at the On Stage display boards... that my eyes became just... well overloaded!
But then I had a good look again and saw all the other possibilities on the other side... such as music, scripty text, wood grain, burlap and "adverts"...
As well as a couple of flower and leaf designs that I love...  so I am VERY happy that I purchased a pack and saw it for myself in the flesh...
The Pressed Petals papers are the thinner weight... so great for envelope liners, for origami and for matting...
And there are also some great cut, stamp with greeting and use "toppers"... which are always so useful to have when you need a very quick card... or bookmark...

So all in all... a great pack of papers... and suite to have in your crafting arsenal...
And the Washi Tape duo pack is AMAZING...

Cool petals to peel and stick on the one...
Simple but stunning flowers in one easy step... (well maybe more like 10 steps or so depending on how many petals you use to create your flower! 5 (or 6 as that is a bit easier) petals for me!! Which means up to 20 flowers from the 100 petals on the roll)
Lovely neutral chic vintage on the other...
And I REALLY love the Designer Elements metallic centres... great for using as floral centres... and random embellishing.. but fantastic as a decorative add to mens projects in particular...
Versatile Scripty embossing folder....
Beautiful little Journal notebook...
Full of quotes... and pages to decorate or write on...
And the front cover is beautifully embossed too...
Path of Petals bundle (with 10% off)
Consisting of the pretty Path of Petals stamps...

 With some lovely greetings...
And the beautiful Petal Labels dies...
How gorgeous are these......
And how easy to use for a fabulous frame or decorative element...

All finished off with the pretty Rococo Rose 1/2" Gathered Ribbon...
So that is it... what do you think of the Pressed Petals suite now? Definitely more to it than first meets the eye!
