Another Large Faux Step card (aka Simple or Easy Step Card)

Again using the new He's the Man papers... and the Biggest Wish stamps for the greetings... 

With images from the retired Stampin' Up! Classic Garage papers for the car, wheel trim and bike...

And more apologies for the quick post... but as an avid ex tennis player... I have to admit that Wimbledon has caught my eye somewhat this week...  It's the first time for years that I have allowed myself to watch anymore than the finals... and I am loving it! 

Doing me the world of good... though I had to laugh at myself on the first afternoon I watched... as I felt so guilty... and was visibly twitching... as it is SO long since I just sat and watched something during the day!! It just didn't feel right!! Good job that feeling left me pretty soon!!

Just couldn't resist... making the simpler even simpler... Let's call it Reverse Crafting!

 Actually I do like that as a concept! Reverse Crafting! What do you think?

Wednesday Watercolor Shapes... #2

Another trio of cards for you today... featuring my must have sets... Watercolor Shapes for the base... with Biggest Wish for the greetings...

Starting off with the simple Watercolor Shapes rectangular shape... in Balmy Blue... with THANKS stamped over in Mint Macaron and Soft Succulent... 

And Evening Evergreen marker partially inked and stamped "So Much" from the In Bloom bundle... part of the the "You mean so much to me " greeting... see top left...

Then adding plain Pierced Blooms dies stitched die cut flowers in Coastal Cabana and Pool Party ...

Or finally... Pierced Blooms dies stitched die cut flowers from stamped Watercolor Shapes shapes in Highland Heather and Polished Pink (first and second stampings - ie ink up and stamp one of the shapes... and then stamp again without re-inking)  

For all you pink and purple fans... 

Simply lovely... 

Though I could have used the In Bloom stamps and had more solid inked colour flowers... 

Oh and new Host Code now active...

Wednesday Watercolor Shapes #1

Starting off a new series with the fabulous "must-have" Watercolor Shapes stamp set... 

Now I know that some of my ladies will LOVE these stamps... especially as it will stop them having to use the Stamped Acrylic Block technique in the future (which proved to be a very "marmite" technique  - 3/10 crafters hating it!!)

Have to admit that this could be a long series as my mind is awash with ideas... but starting off simply today...

So just a simple little scene... using the large rectangle stamp in the Watercolor Shapes set...

Balmy Blue sky... over-inked at the bottom with Soft Succulent for the grass... and stamped on a Whisper White panel...

Then I grabbed the Mountain Air trees and birds... 

Inking up the trees with Evening Evergreen and Early Espresso trunks and Early Espresso birds...

And finished it all off with a Biggest Wish greeting inked up using Evening Evergreen... another "must have" stamp set for me... 

Some mounted on a Balmy Blue card blank... and some on Evening Evergreen... just in case you were wondering...
