Oh my! The Christmas Countdown Kit... This is a superb kit! I LOVE it!  But be warned... it is already on Low Inventory (in the UK & Europe)... so this could be one that is not around for as long as we would like!

So these are what I am currently making up for classes next week... 

From the Incredible Like You kit... but so nice... in fact too nice to not let my ladies make!!!

Especially as they like something simpler... and something that they can add virtually any sentiment to start off a New Year... so this achieves both of those requests...

How to make the Lots of Happy Kit Hexagon card stand up...

I have seen lots and lots of comments about the hexagon shaped card in the Lots of Happy Kit card not being able to made so it stands up...

So I thought I would quickly share that it can... and how it can!

The instructions with the card show it as a non-standing version...

So you would colour the panel and assemble it like so...

So just ignore that!!

You want to do this instead... as the centre all gets covered up in any case...

Or more accurately... I would assemble it like this! So then you know it is going to stand up when you finish! So this would be the photo to pin!

Then you can add the other parts... The gold foil banner and ribbons...

The stamped panel...

And finishing off with the little die cut flowers... although I decided  not to hide mine under the stamped panel like the original...

And there you have it... one hexagon card that can stand up... 

Isn't it pretty! And a beautiful envelope for it too...

Beautiful card kit... has to be the best one yet!  First kit refill I have ever bought! So more on this kit another day... as there is plenty you can do to get creative with the base kit...

And I LOVE the box it comes in... reckon my Stamparatus will look fabulous in there! 

But in the meantime... here are all the contents... to make 20 cards... 4 each of 5 designs... I would just recommend adding (or having on hand) a Blender Pen... Paper Snips ( to cut the ribbon) , Tear n Tape and (optionally) Tombow adhesive...

And the lovely stamps... some lovely sentiments in here... and more on the one I won't use as is another day...

Clean & Simple Style Be Merry kit

 

Oh this Be Merry kit is worth shouting about....

Easy to overlook as the catalogue page doesn't show the size element... hence the hand shot!

 

Though mine are all a bit different to that pictured (below) by Stampin' Up!... as I really didn't like the additional glimmer tulle tufts on the rosettes in the flesh... give me cleaner and simpler anytime!

Year on year my regular class ladies request a rosette (aka lollipop) ornament or two ... or twenty! But don't love all that scoring, cutting and folding to achieve them... so they were tickled pink with these...

I am going to use mine as super duper gift tags this year... but I think that some will make their way onto some ladies' christmas trees... and wreaths we made a couple of years ago...

And then I did decide to use those glitter tulle circles after all... with the leftover tree element... simples!

Though unfortunately I didn't get a shot of one ladies' candy cane... luckily all her kids are hockey enthusiasts! So she will get away with it!! Yes it was stick on upside down!
