Team Meeting Christmas Swap Card

Here is the swap card I did for the swap at our Team Meeting last Saturday. The challenge was to produce a Christmas Card using Punch or Die Art - or using non-Christmas stamps......  Took a bit of thinking through.... but finally a simple die-cut christmas word with an punched & embossed scallop circle wreath settled in my head... And so here it is ....

And in return I received some fantastic swaps from a very talented group of ladies. I was really WOWed. Not only lots of beautiful cards & tags but my Christmas table is going to look fantastic this year!!

Lots more to share on the Team Meeting later... especially more Scallop Square Die creations..... I think I have 40+ projects made now from my 101 list.... so loads to post!!

Scallop Square #10 - Double Punched Blossom Card

I just love this card!!! There is a steady collection growing in my card box!!  This card was designed by Robin Armbrecht and a tutorial written by  Julie Davison which you can find here... Double Punched Blossom Card Tutorial. 





Not sure if you can really see but I added a Scallop Square to the the back of the card.  I think it just finishes it off perfectly..... but it was very difficult to photo!!! ( not that I am obsessed with the Scallop Square or anything!!)


But this is only the 10th Scallop Square project posted - out of about 45 made - and over 101 on the list to do!! So lots more to go yet ....

Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Blog Hop aka Scallop Square # 8 and #9

Welcome to The Craft Spa for those of you that have hopped across from Tinas' blog  and for those of you starting here..... just a few words to explain!!  A group of 40 extremely talented Stampin' Up! demonstrators have got ourselves organised ( via the forum In Love with Stamping) in the form of 2 blog hops ( 20 in each!) to show you some projects using products from the new Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalogue. These products are available from 1st May until end of August 2012.

So here is a link to the new Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalogue. This is the first time we have had a Summer Mini in the UK and I am thoroughly enjoying all the wonderful new products in it!! Lots more to share with you....... Watch this space!!!

And here are a couple of projects using some new stamp sets and products to whet your appetite!

Firstly, one for the babies!! This Double Z Fold card uses the new Baby Prints stamp set and the wonderful new pleated ribbon across the inside of the card! Shown here in Blushing Bride - but also available in Baja Breeze, Pear Pizzazz & Riding Hood Red.

Aren't these stamped hands and feet just gorgeous!! The papers are from the Nursery Nest pack which are just perfect for this project - for the boys as well as the girls! As you will see on another day!! Just need a few minutes to finally assemble the boys version!!

Secondly, one for a wedding - or for a wedding  anniversary. This Centre Step Card uses the new Love & Laughter stamp set - as well as the new Bakers Twine ( which I have been desperate to get my hands on for a while!!)  Shown here in Pool Party - but also available in all this years' In-Colors - Wisteria Wonder, Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo and Calypso Coral.

What a wonderful image of a wedding cake here - I also couldn't resist using a Centre Step Card format as I thought it looks like a cake too!!

Beau Chateau Swinging Z Fold Cards

 Found this in drafts so thought I should just go ahead and publish!!!
Still loving the Swinging Z Fold Cards - these are done using a 6"x12" piece of cardstock ( scored at 3" and 6") with the Scallop Circle die which made life a whole lot easier than with a punch as in my earlier blog post here  .

Easter Blossoms Cupcake Box aka Scallop Square Die #7

Time for chocolate cupcakes for Easter ......

Another lid made using the Scallop Square die - this time it is scored at 3/4" in from each side.

Box made to suit and the sides stamped with the blossoms spray. The blossoms are coloured in using a white gel pen... makes everything pop in the flesh!

Though you can't see it in the photo..... the cupcake is held in an insert punched using the  2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch which was the perfect size.

Very Simple Easter Basket - aka Scallop Square # 6

Simple as simple can be!! Should have put a Creme Egg in before I took the photo though!!!

This is another die cut Scallop Square, embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder and scored in 3 scallops from each side. Assemble as a basket by gluing the 2 side flaps to meet at the top centre. Eh voila!!
