Broadway Bound Good Luck... and Ombre Tuesday Tip!

Imagine the scene... the sudden realisation that you have less than an hour to make, address, photo..., get to the Post Office and send a card and a treat box to wish your son well in his exams... or you are going to miss the post and they will arrive the day after his first exam! As it is a Bank Holiday weekend...

So these happened! Talk about speed crafting... Broadway Bound papers...

And of course our very favourite Stitched Shapes dies...

But he will be happy... as the box contains not one but two bars of chocolate! 

And oh yes... you guessed it... I covered one of those Lemon Lime Twist boxes I had already made...well speed was of the essence!!

Wouldn't care... but I seem to remember I was in the same last minute state last year! Though I blame the Bank Holidays of course!

And oh... nearly forgot.... My Ombre tip for today... 

See the word LUCK... coloured in with a Marker Pen... then coloured over the bottom again... with the same marker pen!! 

Simples!! Just wish I had take a close up shot for you...

Male card Monday... clean & simple Geared Up Garage

A clean and simple A6 card using Geared Up Garage for you today... though maybe not quite so clean with all those dirty exhaust fumes designed in...

Car stamped in Memento Black... coloured in using Real Red, Balmy Blue and Smoky Slate Stampin Blends... and then die cut with the Garage Gears dies...

Gray Granite exhaust fumes or smoke by inking up and stamping twice before re-inking

Real Red greeting...

And finished off with silver embossed washers... 

And here is the original stunning 'all in red' card by Tracy Lynn Sinclair from our team training swap that I CASEd... thanks again Tracy... 

I just switched the colours around so that my ladies could do cars of whatever colour suited their men folk... and still use the same prepped class kit...

Though annoyingly I forgot to photo the "British Racing Green" and Blueberry Bushel ones made... as both were rather stunning...

Sunday Suite - Noble Peacock

Introducing the Noble Peacock suite...

I reckon this suite is going to be very popular with most of my ladies.. though there will be a couple that hate it!

Definitely a colour combination everyone will love... But I have a Foil hater...  And a Bird hater... And one of them hates both!

Classic Garage Convertible!

Snip a bit off the top of the car cut from the Classic Garage papers and here you go... a convertible (aka cabriolet... soft top... open top!)  to make many a man happy! And quite a few ladies too ...

Or stamp & snip... this one looks more like my silver Mercedes CLK a few years back! Always miss that car on a lovely sunny day!

Oh and the eagle eyed amongst you may have spotted that I have changed my road production method!! 

I still sponged to start off with... but then I also used Gray Granite and the "thin straight" in the Waterfront stamp set... to create more definition... inking up...stamping... stamping again, inking up and so on...
