Five on Friday - Beautiful Friendship

So way back then... was when I first got Beautiful Friendship out... with a Team Colour Challenge happening at the time... but gosh how things took over from that day!

So now high time I finally shared the finished cards... both here and back on the Team Challenge page!

There were actually 6 cards created from this wreath.. but one went away in the post before I got a chance (aka remembered!) to photo... so only 5 finished cards to see in this post... but a "Where's Wally shot" below if you want to spot the 6th before it was finished!! Centre one if you are not sure....

And here are the insides as they needed a quick decoration so that I could write on them to send out with my customer thank you gifts at the time... although I am sure that I will have still failed to write on them... and added a written Sticky Note as I do....

Click here to see the details on what was used to create the stamped wreath one sheet wonder... and here to see more on the cutting up of the sheet...

Full on Friday....

So we have a Team Colour Challenge going on...

And I rather like this combination... so thought I would have a go...
Using my new stamp set, Beautiful Friendship... that I bought especially to try out a Zoom Class on the Stamped One Sheet Wonder technique with the girls... hence the use of only one stamp set (plus Waterfront splats... as I know they all have at least one stamp set with similar splats! Or they can splatter with a pen if not)
BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET
So here is the before ...

Though I am not sure I can cut this one up! Love it! Love it! Love it!
Time will tell...

PS please don't panic if I don't get to post (much) for the next  week or so... DH is off work next week... so it could be time for a mini blog break!

Wednesday Wreath - Blossoms In Bloom in the blues Stamped One Sheet Wonder....

So this was the third of my Stamped One Sheet Wonder sheets created last week...
Another wreath on a 12x12 Whisper White sheet... resulting in a set of 7 cards...
Featuring Blossoms in Bloom ( flowers and leaves), Very Versailles (leaves and text), Sending Sunshine (leaf frond) and Waterfront (splodges)  along with Sending Sunshine and Ornate Thanks for the final greetings...

Using my favourite floral colour palette of blues &  greens with a touch of yellow... or Balmy Blue, Misty Moonlight, Granny Apple Green, Mossy Meadow, Pretty Peacock and Mango Melody... with Gray Granite for the textural background features... and splodges...
And I can't wait for my next delivery to arrive next week... as I have some lovely flowers and leaves in there! Can't wait to play again...

PS Thank you to my customers and fellow demonstrators who have shared their Stamped One Sheet Wonder cards with me... I am so happy to have inspired so many of you to give this technique a go... it is definitely worth it! Though beware the need to buy more flowers and leaves !!!

Stamped A4 One Sheet Wonder Cards set

Following on from the last 2 days post... this was actually the first sheet I stamped one sheet wonder style...
But I was surprised ... as I realised that I had filled everything in... rather than  leaving lots of white space as 'those of you that visit me regularly' would have assumed I would have done!
So I could call this the technique that continues to amaze (me!)
And a shot of what I used on this one... as totally different to yesterdays... Blossoms in Bloom for the main parts... leaves from Sending Sunshine again... and greetings from So Sentimental...
Note that I applied a darker Midnight Muse (with a dauber) to the centre of the large flowers image before stamping... which I forgot to show in the shot of what I used below...

Oh plus the Waterfront splats and Very Versailles text...
Though I will admit that ... in the future... I would stamp any text after cutting up my panels... as that way I wouldn't have to use my panels in the direction of the text!

Though funnily enough I can cope with this text being upside down... as I don't think you can really tell! But I don't like it running up or down in direction aka on its side...

Stamped One Sheet Wonder Wreath Card set #2

Following on from yesterday's post... I have some more details for you on the Stamped Wreath One Sheet Wonder set of cards I created...

Firstly... here are the colours and  products I used...
And just in case they are too pale to see..Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink ink pads at the top of the piles...
Relevant stamps laid on top of relevant ink pad...so hopefully this one picture paints a 1000 words!
And these are the Grey Granite splodges I forgot in the original photo! And I had already tidied away... so 2 photos then!

Not got some (or all) of these stamps... then click on the name to add to your shopping cart and order... for Blossoms in Bloom, Healing Hugs, Sending Sunshine and Waterfront... or otherwise... just grab some flowers, leaves, splodges and textures stamps and have a go! You won't regret it....
So the wreath was produced on a Very Vanilla 12" Square piece of card....

Spot that I lightly sponged Gray Granite over all my bright Vanilla areas! (again very unlike me with my love of white space but I just went all out of the box!!!)

And an admittance.. I thought I was using Sahara Sand... but hey - I had the wrong ink pad out!
Then the square was cut into 3 x 4" wide strips...
The left and right being cut into 4" x 14.5cm panels (so two from each) For those of you working with US Letter sized cardstock - I'd suggest 4" x 5 1/4" for your standard card blanks- the matting from the card blank will just be slightly wider than mine)
And the central strip into 3 x 4" panels... sorry no photo!
I then re-orientated some so that stamping the greeting made most sense..
And there you have them...
Oh actually not quite! Couple of the panels got slightly amended... so bear with me! Some strategic stamping to the rescue...

First up.. the central square panel was a bit bare for my taste...
So more Sending Sunshine Mossy Meadow leaves to the top...
Then a couple more Blossoms in Bloom Cajun Craze with Mango Melody centred flowers... to top and right
Finishing off with the Healing Hugs Mossy Meadow greeting...
That's much better...

And then an inked & caught clear block edge when stampin the Mossy Meadow greeting...

Quickly covered with another Cajun Craze with Mango Melody centred flower...
Phew... much better...

Wednesday Wow - Stamped One Sheet Wonder

So last Wednesday I watched a video! And I watched it to the end... and I was very inspired! And so I made these... which I love so much that I didn't even finish popping the onto card blanks before I had to share with you....

And I know that many of you will be surprised at those words... as I am self-confessed video tutorial hater... yes we still truly exist! But maybe I have now (finally) seen though a little crack in my armour!!!
So a huge thanks to the lovely Ruth Trice, fellow UK demonstrator for her Zoom demonstration on the Stamped One Sheet Wonder technique (otherwise now also dubbed Split Cards Technique by others) and Liz Hockley, our Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Development Manager who arranged the session...

I was indeed lucky... as on the day... my lunch got delayed for a couple of  reasons... so as I sat down nearly an hour later... the live session popped up on my Facebook feed... so I just watched and listened whilst I ate... and then I was a  hooked... so watched to the end... as - if all had gone to my lunch plan - I would never have seen it...
I was particularly inspired by one of Ruth's samples... in colourways rarely seen on The Craft Spa blog... as  (most of ) my ladies just don't like these hues... but I think you may see more of these whilst I am not running face to face classes... as I just love this combination... warm, cozy and inviting... Love it when the unexpected happens!!
And now maybe I might even try to watch some other video tutorials again... and maybe even try doing one of my own... so please feel free to click here and email any must-watches, tips or format preferences!! Though I have to admit that I will never cope with watching the more waffly and/or drawn out tutorials....! I'd just scuttle back in my hole (as I have done for years!)
And I do have to laugh as I never thought I would use that cabbage rose from Healing Hugs... but it was perfect for this technique... So a third unexpected happening... In fact Healing Hugs had had a real good work out on this set...

And come back tomorrow for more details on this set of cards... as I have waffled on long enough for one day!
And a final admittance... Ruth has cost me a lot of money... as I have now spotted gorgeous flowers sets in the Annual Catalogue that my eyes had just never seen.. and this technique is just such fun... so I can't resist! For investigation purposes only you understand...

Enjoy Life & Waterfront... more cyclists...

Just following on from this card...  Yes I know its more than 9 months ago since I shared that one!! But I got somewhat waylaid at the time!! But back to it!

I thought it high time I shared these 2 variants before I get waylaid by other creative endeavours!! Of which there are numerous at the moment!!

Firstly the trio of cyclists at the top... I thought he needed friends... much more sociable!

And secondly... look close! A multitude of cyclists in the hills... care of the retired En Route stamp set ( which is still a keeper for me!)
Inspired by the wonderful artist, Lucy Pittaway and her fantastic Tour de Yorkshire cycling art work... such as this example...
Image result for lucy pittaway cycling in hills
Click here or on the picture to check out her work...

But be warned... Lucy's work just makes you smile... and the Yorkshire country side depicted in her Cycling Art series is marvellous! But there again I am so completely biased! As a true Yorkshire girl born and bred... and moved back!

But back to another card... finishing off with the one that Andrea made!
Boys tour on Fathers Day representation... all 12 of them! Another one on the card back to get the numbers right!

Happy Fathers Day Dad!

My father loves his cars... particularly a convertible!

So it just had to be done... call it Geared Up Garage meets Sailing Home meets Waterfront!
Happy Fathers Day Dad!

Click here for how to produce the convertible car version...
Click here for the Bridge U Fold card tutorial...
Click here for the Waterfront Background Scene Tutorial...

And the yachts are stamped onto Window Sheets acetate with Staz On...

And stamped onto white card with Memento, then the sails and hulls coloured using Stampin Blends.... and just the sails and hulls quickly fussy cut

And then stuck onto the acetate version... and then die cut (or fussy cut)
And apologies to you eagle eyed viewers that have spotted my Very Vanilla lighthouse! But I had to finish this card off within minutes... and there just wasn't time for the production of a new lighthouse on white! And I know my Dad wont notice...
