Deconstructed Simple Double Point Noble Peacock card

So how many of you have seen the Double Point cards doing the rounds...

Perfect with our new Nested Label die cut shape... and I have loved every card I have seen using the design... and will come back to some cards as intended sometime soon...

But in the meantime... well I decided to deconstruct the design... and simplify... and here you have it!

Incorporating Stitched Nested Labels dies, Sorry for Everything stamps, Noble Peacock papers, Bloom & Grow and Daisy Lane bundles for good measure!

And spot the Nested Label shape cut from this Royal Peacock card... and that the white greerting panel id the same size but trimmed by hand using the line inside the stitched line... so as to get a thin mat...

Lovely floral images and greetings in the Bloom & Grow stamp set...

Along with the great set of Blooming Buds dies - which even include a couple of scalloped edge dies (see them used on the flap of the bag above)

And... love the use of those scalloped dies (to create a band to pop flowers behind) on the top left card in the picture below... and even just made one of those without looking!!

What a wonderful variety of simple stamped, coloured and die cut flowers!

Tuesday In Colour Tips & A Gift...

And sharing a peek at the Bloom & Grow bundle for you too...

This Thank You card uses all 5 of the new In Colors.... which is a first for me... as usually the 5 in Colors are not designed to... and definitely don't all work together... but this year is different!

And I love each and everyone one of these colours... though normally I would only use 4 of them together! Either Rococo Rose or Terracotta Tile...

However do note that (very sadly) the Purple Posy ink pad is not currently available to order... So- in the meantime- some Tips for your Purple Posy colour...

• Buy the 2019-2021 markers for all the colours!
• Stamp off Gorgeous Grape for Purple Posy a few times (or as I did here... I added some drops of water to my Gorgeous Grape ink on my ink pad lid... and used the Aquapainter to apply)
• Buy the Stampin Blends Purple Posy combo pack (Also available in Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray)
