Simply...the large Butterfly Basics butterfly

 Keeping it simple....
When the Butterfly Basics stamps & dies were released in the Spring & Summer Catalogue - there was a stunning card sample on the catalogue page that made me want the dies at the time...

But I never got round to making my own....

So now I have used that sample as my inspiration for this simple little beauty...
The butterfly was die cut out of the top Very Vanilla panel using my trusty Food Saver paper to ensure its quick release...

The Mint Macaron background card panel is stamped using Mint Macaron ink & the flower spray from For The New Two stamp set

The die cut Very Vanilla panel and butterfly are adhered separately to the Mint Macaron background layer and then the whole panel stuck to the card..
Finished off with a stamped and punched banner and a Metal Rimmed Pearl.

Love its simplicity... what do you think?

Here is the card that inspired the Gift Bag project I shared yesterday.

If you think you recognise it from somewhere - you would be right - this is CASED straight from the SU! catalogue. The original version is on page 100 using Big News... I just changed the stamps I used to Amazing Birthday. Love love love this greeting....

Decorated simply using Pretty Petals papers, an embossed greeting and flowers & leaves cut out from another of the sheets of the Pretty Petals Designer Series Stack...

And oops - I have just realised that I have forgotten to add my embellishments - there are metal rimmed pearls and a few gold sequins laying in my craft room just waiting to be popped on!!

I'll add them and re-share the dressed up version another day!!!

Embellishments - Metal Rimmed Pearls; Moments Like These Washi Tape; Gold Sequin Trim

Gift Bag Punch Board Small Milk Carton

Well I am REALLY loving my Gift Bag Punch Board (GBPB) ....

Not only does the GBPB make great bags very easily... but it also adds something unique in the making of other projects - making it a complete must have in my book!!

So in my usual style.... I haven't made many bags... instead I have been playing around and using it to produce some old faithful crafty friends.

Firstly the little Box Card I posted the other day... Tutorial should be up later this week...

And now this small milk carton...

I had taken step by step photos to produce a tutorial for today...  but I am not sharing today after all ... not just because of my poorly finger which doesn't hurt...but is impeding things somewhat... but also because I have already refined the carton & produced some others and prefer those dimensions - so rather than confuse - more to come! Shouldn't be too long to wait....

In the meantime - can't wait to see the Gift Bag Punch Board in action... here you go... a Stampin' Up! video for you...
