Centre Stage Gifts

Quick share of gifts made for my friends, team mates and Centre Stage buddies Julie and Sharon for last Friday night down in Telford... though, due to traffic and a very long journey... we arrived at the hotel so late... that we had to wait till after the event to open them this time...

And what a dilemma... devour the pages of the new catalogue or open the gifts first... what's a demo to do !!!
So a Gift Bag Punch Board medium sided bag using the Foil Frenzy papers... cut 6" high...so 2 from a piece of these 12x12 "more like card than paper so perfect for gift bags" papers... directions as per this bag here... standing about 4 3/4" tall...

Decorated with Stitched Shapes die cut squares with Crafting Forever greetings and hand cut Perennial Birthday flowers on the back and bag...

Along with a stamped Stampin Up logo on a stitched square on the front... care of a retired stamp set....

And then came the "oh, why is this so difficult bit"... as I laminated the stitched squares for the front and back so as to prolong the life of my labels... and then spent well over an hour searching and trying all sorts of glues to stick the laminated squares on....! Got there in the end though... Practical but nicely covering up the other logo on the device!
The gift was a practical and handy little one... a little charger to recharge our phones mid On Stage event on the Saturday... as we demos always take so many photos of team mates, display boards and presentation screens... that the phones don't usually make it through to the end of the day!!

But more of all that on another day...

And suffice to say I received really beautiful gifts from Julie and Sharon... but again more of that on another day...

Gift Bag Punch Board Easter Chick Holder for 3D Thursday

Look at Charlie Chick all grown up... or maybe rather...  he has just put on a lot of weight!

I had a request for a larger Charlie Easter Chick treats holder... to hold a bag of Mini Eggs or a few Creme Eggs or something like that...

So here he is... Gift Bag Punch Board to the rescue...
So the recipe is simple... just a 6" by 11" piece of card - I used Crushed Curry... and follow the instructions for a Medium Sided Gift Bag...

The punch art is as per the original Charlie Chick... click here for those details... though this time the Tangerine Tango beak is the smallest Stitched Shapes square and the tummy is the medium Stitched Shapes Circle... with 1" circle punched eyes...
And circular aperture die cut with Stitched Shapes oval... with a piece of Window Sheet popped behind...
Held together with velcro dots between the head feathers... simples!! The head feathers being stuck to the front and back insides to keep things neat...

So here are the 2 Charlie Chicks together... call them Little & Large!... and just click here for the Tutorial for the smaller Cream Egg or Caramel Egg version ...

Petal Garden Memories & More Gift Bag

Coming to the end of the series now... with what may be the simplest handmade gift bag ever!

A medium sized 4 3/4" high gift bag using the Gift Bag Punch Board... using a piece of 6" x A4 long Thick Whisper White card (29.8cm or about 11 3/4" for my US readers) decorated with just one of the Petal Garden Memories & More cards... and Calypso Coral Ombre Ribbon to close off...

No excuse for me not to quickly and prettily wrap up anything to gift now... though I may just add a few pretty flowers when it is time to go...

Foil Frenzy Happy Birthday Gorgeous Gift Bag

Another shiny make care of the Foil Frenzy papers... this time a simple Gift Bag using the Gift Bag Punch Board

So this is a medium-sized bag about 4 3/4" finished height from half a piece of 12" paper... Simply decorated with Lots of Labels die-cuts and a bit of Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamping
And a tip... these Foil Frenzy papers are actually Soft Sky... but Pool Party is used for the ribbon and stamping instead... as it kind of works better! The shimmery nature of the ribbon and the brightness of Pool Party just co-ordinating with the shine of the papers better!

This is a project we made at Julie's last Quarterly training... and I have to admit that it took me a while to remember how to use the Gift Bag Punch board!!
For those of you feeling the same!! Here is the Stampin' Up! video to remind you... But fear not... mine is still out in my crafty space and it may be used a few times in the near future!

Simple, quick but effective make (once you remember how to use your punch board!)... and a robust gift bag care of the fabulous Foil Frenzy papers... what's not to love!

Craft Spa Recipe
Foil Frenzy Paper 6" x 11". Score at M (medium) for front & back...

Basket Bunch Beautiful Banner... Happy Easter ...

LOL... what a tongue twister of a title!!!

I just had to make another banner whilst the Beautiful Banners stamps , Banners Framelits  and Layered Letters - were all still out... Previous banner made with Falling in Love papers shared earlier here...

But then the Basket Bunch stamps and the Basket Builder dies were also still out...
As were the Cupcakes and Carousels papers... which I then decided are just perfect for the light and bright feel we need for Easter celebrations...

So they all came together like so!
And a wonderful tip for you... The Gift Bag Punch Board is perfect for punching 2 holes at the same time in the back of your banners to thread the ribbon through... so easy...

This is not my original fantastic idea... but one I saw on our Stampin' Up! Demo Only Facebook Group (yes we have one of those!!! And it is fabulously inspiring... though lethal on the pocket... ) And after much searching... I am delighted to be able to say thank you to the clever and talented Anja Luft who has some piccys on here blog to explain how if you click here...

Stampers Showcase - Dapper Denim and The Sea!

Cute little box card project using the new 2016-18 In Color Dapper Denim Designer Series papers and my trusty Gift Bag Punch Board... this one definitely proved popular on the Stampers Showcase at Telford...

This is a re-make of a previously very popular project... Go here for the tutorial posted earlier for a variant using the Sprinkles of Life stamp set... I definitely like this new one more!!
I used a few stamps sets on this card!! As is my way...

You will no doubt recognise ... Sprinkles of Life with its co-ordinating Tree punch for the clouds & greeting... and Guy Greetings for the anchor and relevant greeting (die cut using Project Life Cards & Labels dies)
But you will not recognise my little yacht! Ok more sailing dingy... This is in the brand new Swirly Bird stamp set coming to you soon... more on this set another day!

The waves were cut using the scalloped border die in the Cutie Pie die set (you know the cake one!)

And the base box card is made using Marina Mist to add to the maritime theme! Or rather as I had run out of Dapper Denim card by the time I made this one.... as Caroline said... only 4 sheets to work with!!!

Wild About Flowers Amazing Birthday Gift Bag Punch Board Small Box Card #2

Seeing as this little Box Card with the poppies has proven to be very popular... I made a birthday version for everyone to make at this week's class....

Good job I know that they are happy with fussy cutting - and homework!
Apart from using Very Vanilla instead of Old Olive card and Amazing Birthday for the sentiments - I also flipped the papers for the sides and flaps around...so this time - the paper was not turned upside down for step 2 in Cutting the Paper in my tutorial post
Lighter and brighter...and a card for happier times.....

And here is everything I used...
