3D Thursday... Chocolate Makes Everything Better Treat Boxes

Little box with lid designed by yours truly to hold my favourite ball off chocolate!! Whether in Red, Gold, Black or Copper... But a box that would also fit the other ol' golden ball itself...
Made for 20 special ladies.... that spent time with me and each other on the Saturday night after On Stage 2018 in Telford... These were the table gifts that greeted them at our favourite On Stage team outing at Zizzis! And we all had a lovely collection... thank you for my other treats friends!  I felt truly spoilt... it is so wonderful to move in such creative circles with such clever people!!

I will come back to this little box another day... but I will point one thing out... as it is something that I hadn't ever though to do before... until it came to the lid...

I wanted the stripes to all be vertical... on all 4 sides around the lid... which isn't possible when you glue the flaps of a stripy paper on the inside of the lid as you would do normally!! So I went "out of the box"... and just stuck the flaps to the outside instead (on the sides)... perfect stripes all vertical...
Decoration care of Lemon Lime Twist & Tangerine Tango Foil Frenzy stripy Papers for the lid...

Along with a stamped Stitched Shapes die cut small square using a More Than Chocolate greeting ... and finished off with a stamped and 3/8" circle (retired but still going strong!) punched chocolate... and a gemstone...

And here are the 20 together... actually 19... as the 20th had already gone off on an adventure of its own elsewhere...
And here we all are at Zizzis...
What a great team of girls!!
And with special mention and thanks to Pip our waiter... who knows how to take care of a large group having a great meal out!!! Still can't believe he remembered us from last time!!

Centre Stage Gifts

Quick share of gifts made for my friends, team mates and Centre Stage buddies Julie and Sharon for last Friday night down in Telford... though, due to traffic and a very long journey... we arrived at the hotel so late... that we had to wait till after the event to open them this time...

And what a dilemma... devour the pages of the new catalogue or open the gifts first... what's a demo to do !!!
So a Gift Bag Punch Board medium sided bag using the Foil Frenzy papers... cut 6" high...so 2 from a piece of these 12x12 "more like card than paper so perfect for gift bags" papers... directions as per this bag here... standing about 4 3/4" tall...

Decorated with Stitched Shapes die cut squares with Crafting Forever greetings and hand cut Perennial Birthday flowers on the back and bag...

Along with a stamped Stampin Up logo on a stitched square on the front... care of a retired stamp set....

And then came the "oh, why is this so difficult bit"... as I laminated the stitched squares for the front and back so as to prolong the life of my labels... and then spent well over an hour searching and trying all sorts of glues to stick the laminated squares on....! Got there in the end though... Practical but nicely covering up the other logo on the device!
The gift was a practical and handy little one... a little charger to recharge our phones mid On Stage event on the Saturday... as we demos always take so many photos of team mates, display boards and presentation screens... that the phones don't usually make it through to the end of the day!!

But more of all that on another day...

And suffice to say I received really beautiful gifts from Julie and Sharon... but again more of that on another day...

Foil Frenzy DVD Gift Box

Back to another Foil Frenzy papers & Happy Birthday Gorgeous project...

These papers really do lend themselves to gift packaging and simple fancy fold cards as they are just that more robust... as well as decorative ... and therefore don't need layers to stiffen or fancy everything up!

Great sized box to share today... perfect for fitting a DVD or a photopolymer/clear mount stamp case in!!
This is another project that we made at our last Quarterly Training ... the box decoration being CASED from the catalogue... but Julie's own box design ...

I just changed the greeting on the tag so that it was all shiny too... as it is just cut from another of the Foil Frenzy papers...

Recipe
A4 Card Berry Burst 29.5 x 19cm (Scored 2.5cm on all 4 sides & LANDSCAPE 5cm from each side)
12x12 Foil Frenzy Paper 27.7 x 22.2cm (Scored 2 & 4 cm on all 4 sides)

Had to quickly share this Thank You card I made to accompany an order yesterday...

This was a quick update to this card posted earlier here... for a Foil Frenzy paper fanatic! And her reaction was priceless... first the gasp... then the ooh... then the 5 minutes touching it all!!
Definitely worth the remake for the delighted reaction! Just wish I had made a few more whilst everything was out...

Happy Birthday Gorgeous Balloons & Foil Frenzy Card

Simple panel trio card from some 1" strip Foil Frenzy paper leftovers for you today... leftovers from the sides of the die cut Window Boxes and the Gift Bag shared over the last 2 days...

Greeting and punched balloons care of Happy Birthday Gorgeous as I thought it was about time the balloons in this set took centrestage... the Hooray balloon being stamped in Archival Black which worked a treat on the shiny foiled elements of this paper...
Greeting label using the new 2 1/4" Circle Punch...  a punch that a few of you have told me you had overlooked!

Balloon strings care of the new Pool Party Bakers Twine... and finished off with the Pool Party 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon again

Light, bright and ever so shiny... makes a young heart sing!

Foil Frenzy Happy Birthday Gorgeous Gift Bag

Another shiny make care of the Foil Frenzy papers... this time a simple Gift Bag using the Gift Bag Punch Board

So this is a medium-sized bag about 4 3/4" finished height from half a piece of 12" paper... Simply decorated with Lots of Labels die-cuts and a bit of Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamping
And a tip... these Foil Frenzy papers are actually Soft Sky... but Pool Party is used for the ribbon and stamping instead... as it kind of works better! The shimmery nature of the ribbon and the brightness of Pool Party just co-ordinating with the shine of the papers better!

This is a project we made at Julie's last Quarterly training... and I have to admit that it took me a while to remember how to use the Gift Bag Punch board!!
For those of you feeling the same!! Here is the Stampin' Up! video to remind you... But fear not... mine is still out in my crafty space and it may be used a few times in the near future!

Simple, quick but effective make (once you remember how to use your punch board!)... and a robust gift bag care of the fabulous Foil Frenzy papers... what's not to love!

Foil Frenzy Window Gift Box

Foil Frenzy papers meets Window Box dies... with the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamps to decorate...

With lots of 1/2" Finely Woven Berry Burst ribbon to finish it off...
Circles punched using the new 2 1/4" punch and the 2" punch

And a tip for you for the top hexagon panel ... I drew round the decorative Window Box die on Lemon Lime Twist card and then cut out by hand.

I then die cut a white panel with the same die and then hand cut that too... there were even lines caused by the pressure around the die to guide me!! Easy peasy!
All in all....  a pretty and shiny box!
