Happy (W Fold) Easter....

Another version of an Extra Small Square W Fold card... just to say Happy Easter to you... and to send all my best wishes for a lovely holiday period (or time off in lieu!!)

Just can't find photos of the other 4 versions I made to send for now!! New PC and set up has solved SO many previous problems and "time thieves"... but it has brought a few new ones in too!!! Very frustrating!!

Welcome Easter Bites

So I had some of these Aldi chocolate bunnies... chicks... and lambs... left after filling some of these...

So a VERY simple little plan came to mind... so a few of these were made and posted out to family friends... and the best bit! They won't be expecting a thing!!

Wish I had had more chocolates... as if so... there would have been a LOT more of these made! But an hour round trip to the nearest Aldi wasn't something I could've asked a neighbour to do!

Welcome Easter Treats Trio & Tutorial

And so rounding off the trio of goody containing Welcome Easter treat holders ...

With Larry the Lamb... stamped in Memento Black on Whisper White... coloured in with Light Gray Granite and Dark Balmy Blue Stampin Blends... and fussy cut...

Scroll back 2 days for specific details on Bertie Bunny and Charlie Chick...

All just 2 tags stuck either side of a Mini Curvy Keepsakes box... as you can see on the shot below... Scripty embossed Balmy Blue Tags 5cm(2") wide x 9.9cm(4") high... with a Granny Apple Green hill hand cut from a 5cm (2") square piece of Subtle embossed card

Though note that I die cut a Balmy Blue Mini Curvy Keepsake box here...

But all the makes in classes have been Granny Apple Green Mini Curvy Keepsakes boxes... as that represented a hill better....

Also note that I used Bakers Twine to hold the box closed... but all my ladies chose to use the "random" peg I happened to have... much much quicker that way!

And finally finished off with a "single twist/knot" of ribbon... as tying a proper knot would prevent you getting in without destruction! So only about 3" worth per treat holder...

So these are the Easter Treat Sweet Cups I have given out this holiday... 2 towers worth! There were a few more... but I handed those out last weekend before I remembered to take a photo!

So nice to be able to decorate something special (and so simply!!) so that my friends and family can feel special too! And I think they felt that way from their expressions at the time!

Though I think you can tell between those for the older generation and those for the younger!!

The older generation giving me the more positive & immediate feedback... lol!! Think the younger might have been expecting a HUGE chocolate egg or something!!

So these are why the Sweet Cups were actually out... as I am keeping the Easter makes simple this year... but I just couldn't resist dressing one up for Mothers Day for yesterday's post...

So these are the Floral Romance Easter Sweet Cups... the simple version! And there have been a lot of these made in these parts!!!

Love these Sweet Cups for Easter as they hold a decent amount of chocolate mini eggs! But what will you put in yours?

Finishing decoration care of Well Said (HAPPY), More Than Words (Easter), Layering Circle dies, Stitched Shapes dies, 1 1/2" Circle Punch and Pear Pizzazz 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon or Very Vanilla Gold Edged 3/8" Ribbon...

And I am very happy to report that no Tombow glue showed through the vellum... though I did "scrape it out" using the thick end...
