Welcome Easter Treats Trio & Tutorial

And so rounding off the trio of goody containing Welcome Easter treat holders ...

With Larry the Lamb... stamped in Memento Black on Whisper White... coloured in with Light Gray Granite and Dark Balmy Blue Stampin Blends... and fussy cut...
Scroll back 2 days for specific details on Bertie Bunny and Charlie Chick...

All just 2 tags stuck either side of a Mini Curvy Keepsakes box... as you can see on the shot below... Scripty embossed Balmy Blue Tags 5cm(2") wide x 9.9cm(4") high... with a Granny Apple Green hill hand cut from a 5cm (2") square piece of Subtle embossed card

Though note that I die cut a Balmy Blue Mini Curvy Keepsake box here...
But all the makes in classes have been Granny Apple Green Mini Curvy Keepsakes boxes... as that represented a hill better....
Also note that I used Bakers Twine to hold the box closed... but all my ladies chose to use the "random" peg I happened to have... much much quicker that way!

And finally finished off with a "single twist/knot" of ribbon... as tying a proper knot would prevent you getting in without destruction! So only about 3" worth per treat holder...

Stampin Up products used...
Stamps -Welcome Easter, A Wish for Everything
Embossing folders - Scripty; Subtle
Dies - Mini Curvy Keepsakes. Word Wishes
Punches - Delightful Tag Topper
Card - Granny Apple Green, Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Ribbon 1/4" Metallic Seaside Spray

In the meantime I will be working on the Bench Fold card tutorials this week... Sadly everything else I had on this week has been cancelled...  so maybe I will get them done sooner than planned... every cloud...

Introducing More Than Words....

I really love this More Than Words greeting set coming your way with the Sale A Bration Co-Ordination promotion in March and so couldn't wait to use it...
03.01.19_TH_Q1_OOP_STAMP_ENG
And I particularly love this greeting stamp combination... though it did take me a while to work it out!!

So to save you that time....

Ink up and stamp the partial/bottom of WISHES greeting in the darker colour....
Overstamp the full WISHES greeting in the paler colour... the set is photopolymer so it is easy to line up and do... without the aid of any tools...

Ink up the "event greeting"eg Birthday in the darker colour and stamp above the WISHES wording... again easy to place...
And remember More Than Words will be available to you from 1st March... so not long to wait now... It is a greeting set that works all year round but also well with the Sale A Bration So Hoppy Together Frogs and Hello Cupcake for those of you that have already got those for free as your Sale A Bration free gift!

And that it does work really well with the new Story Label Punch coming your way in March too... did I tell you that I love this punch shape!?
03.01.19_TH_Q1_OOP_PUNCH
Other products used here are Very Vintage... which is a hostess set you can earn with orders over £150 (or as part of my Monthly Club)
As well as Rectangles Stitched dies and a butterfly punched from the free Sale A Bration papers, Botanical Butterfly which can be yours for free with a £45 order...
And I used Basic Grey and Smoky Slate for the greeting...

The flowers being stamped in Smoky Slate.... and then the flowers and punched butterfly watercoloured with Aqua Painter with ink of an ink pad lids (Lovely Lipstick, Coastal Cabana & Granny Apple Green)... and the small stamped panel being sponged with Pool Party for the sky effect to finish it all off...

And oh... the outside panel is embossed with the Subtle embossing folder to add some texture... after I die-cut out the inner rectangle for my spotlight technique panel...

Tuesday Tropical Chic Card set...

Just realised I never posted the last of my Tropical Chic cards and/or the Round up picture... so here you go... a little & bright summery rest from Christmas makes for a day...

Live in the U.K.? Want to buy the Tropical Chic bundle (in clear mount or wood mount) and a co-ordinating Tropical Escape paper pack... then howsabout I post you a prepped card kit for 10 cards (2 sets of these 5 cards) as a thank you gift... Just click here to order... and/or click here to email me for more information...

So first up is the last of my simple little cards... and I think this was the simplest... as just a die-cut square aperture in a small square card blank (10.5cm square aka US Letter 4 1/4") using a Stitched Shapes square die... with a Lemon Lime Twist Tropical leaf die-cut card panel popped behind...
And here are the other 4 cards... Just click on the photo to go straight to the relevant post... most of which include the Tutorial...

And for those of you wondering where the other Tropical Chic makes are... well they just didn't fit in with the co-ordinating 5 card set concept... but here you go...

The most popular of them all Super CAS Leaf Aperture on Foil card....
The Chocolate Bar Treat holder (with linked Tutorial)
Think this post now covers them all...

Tuesday Tip - Stylish Christmas #3

So it seemed to make sense to keep the 3 cards made using Stylish Christmas together...  particularly as I have had some requests for a Stylish Christmas Class in the Post whilst I was away... so please click here to contact me if you are interested too... and I will be back to you very soon with more details and/or an invoice...

The basic Stylish Christmas Class in the Post to make 15 cards including Stylish Christmas stamps, 16 pc. cardstock, 15 envelopes & Metallics Pearls (3 designs x 5 cards each) will be £44 (£41 collected) for Wood Mount or £39 (£35 collected) for Clear Mount. I will be ordering 31st August... so delivery will be with you about 10 September at the latest...
And don't forget that if your Stampin Up! order is over £45 this month you will get a £4.50 Bonus Days coupon code to spend for free in September! So that is just £4 more for the Wood Mount option... or + £10 for the Clear Mount...

Other items used include:-

As well as staples of Versamark ink £8.25, Heat Gun £28, Embossing Buddy £5.50, Tombow multipurpose glue £3.75 or Tear & Tape £6.25 and Stampin Dimensionals £3.75

So this is the last card of the trio...  Just a simple one layer A6 standard card...
With the addition of the lovely Bokeh Dots stamp set (as Jane already has that one too! So it seemed rude not to use it!!)

So Sahara Sand stamped Bokeh Dots background... with the Stylish Christmas swirl and little snowflakes also in Sahara Sand...
Hand cut Real Red stamped flower... and Tuesday Top Tip! - the previously stamped & hand cut flower being used to work out the positioning for the Mossy Meadow leaves which are stamped directly onto the card

Finished off with a gold embossed greeting to match the gold Metallics Pearls at the centre of the flower...
And an admittance for you... you can tell my Sahara Sand is a brand new one... don't think I have ever had Sahara Sand stamp this dark before... I may have to move a bit of ink around on the pad before I use it next... as it has always been my go-to-palest-ink-pad when I want subtle!
