Typeset Box Frame Card

Last of the large Box Frame cards I made last week... yes I did make quite a few!
Again with the fabulous Butterfly Basics stamps ... have to admit that I am actually struggling not to use this set!! Time to move on....
Oh Shadowbox Frame Tutorial here for you...
Though I must let you into a little secret... I now have about 10 of the Box Frame Cards made up...no decoration.. just the basic card... I will decorate as and when required...no more not sending a friend a card as I don't have a spare hour or two to make something special for them..... and with nothing suitable in my Card Sale Box either!

These are all really gorgeous!! I've made a few last week as well. :) My question is ... how do you mail them? I believe I saw a tutorial on here for a box envelope to fit them, but do you put the address right on that box envelope and the P.O. takes it that way? (sorry, I'm a li'l clueless there) and how much does one cost to mail? Thank you so much for your inspiration and tutorials :)

Thank you so much Kris... Delighted to hear you have made some too....

There is a 3/4" deep box tutorial below the card tutorial here http://thecraftspa.blogspot.co.uk/2015/05/shadow-box-frame-card-tutorial-for.html. The box serves 2 purposes... Protection and making it look even more special!

I just write the address on my stamped panel on the box
Iid if posting. I do add 2 clear circular tabs to seal box lid. Sellotape would do same job...but less tidy....

3/4" deep box is just Large Letter postage here in UK. So 73p 2nd class...same as most of my cards!

But last week I was in a big bad rush so one got posted in a large square envelope... Think it was a 19 cm square envelope I happened to have lying round... Again same postage rate...

Sorry Kris. you are in US! My UK terminology will mean nothing to you! My finished Red box and card is nearly 6 3/8" square by 3/4" deep and weighs 2.3 oz. Hope that helps you to calculate your US postage rate....
