Grace's Garden #6 - Simply a Fence...

The eagle eyed amongst you will have spotted this card in my group shot yesterday...

Simple die cut fence...  doubled up at either side... Overstamped using Winter Woods silver birch image a few times!) or the (sadly) retired Woodgrain background stamp if you still have that...

With the main flower image "faux-reversed"... check out the respective positioning of the yellow and tall blue flowers... I'll be back to explain on Wednesday!

Grace's Garden #5 - Wedding Wishes Trio

This was one of my favourite Grace's Garden designs... which I thought I had shared... but it appears not when I checked! Good job I realised!

Three versions shared today... as the first ones with Mr & Mrs on the gate and heart proved a tad "frustrating" for many in class!

And I have already made a 4th version... using my Bricks & Mortar embossing folder... but that will have to wait until I set up for another photo session!

Sending Flowers #6 - Happy Mothers Day Aperture Tent card

So I combined a few elements of my 5 Sending Flowers card designs... and came up with this one for classes...

Decorated for Mother's Day wishes this time - but can be stamped with whatever greeting you need...

The Last of the Wednesday Wideos for a while... Botanical Prints

Oh this is lovely... a whole co-ordinating product medley...

Including stamps, dies, ribbon, intricate laser cut panels and labels...

And the papers which are coloured on the one side... but  - now I am looking - left black and white on the other... so you can use as they are... or colour away to your hearts delight... Love those...

Oh and those stunning copper coloured bee embellishments... I never spotted those before!

Amazing how looking at something in more detail can make you realise what you have been missing!!

Painted Poppies Splatter Notecards Trio Step by Step Pictorial

So I have been asked a few questions on the creation of my Painted Poppy notecards with splatters .... so I thought it easiest to just make another, take some photos and come back to share!

So colourwise... I used Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray and Granny Apple Green on this and most of my other Painted Poppies samples but Poppy Parade (instead of Pretty Peacock) on the first version shared (as shown below but first shared here with more product details and images...

No masking involved...

And note that ...

I stamped off the Seaside Spray (sky) splatters ie ink up stamp, stamp on scrap paper, then stamp onto card... 

But I didn't stamp off the Granny Apple Green (grass) splatters - I just stamped twice/thrice without re-inking ...

(1) Die cut label ( this label is in the co-ordinating Painted Labels dies)

(2) Stamp single stem poppy in Memento Black

(3) Stamp large Splatters behind poppy (to top) NB stamped off!

(4) Stamp Granny Apple Green splatters to bottom NB stamped twice

(5) Using stamped label for required positioning on card... ink up and stamp Seaside Spray and Granny Apple Green large splatters directly onto notecard to left hand side... you can see better in the 3rd photo below...

(6) Colour in flowers and leaves using Stampin Blends

(7) Adhere stamped label to card using 3D foam Stampin Dimensionals

(8) Finish off with a hand cut Label Me Bold greeting (in Pretty Peacock/Poppy Parade)

And then I used the same technique on this card...

With the extra touch of the Enjoy Life grass image (in Granny Apple Green)... over the "grass splatters"  for extra definition... ie Top Left image below...

And I will be back soon with a tip for the shaped card mat behind that Painted Poppies/ Labels die cut label on this last card!

Sending Flowers #5 - Let's add a bit of colour..

Same card as yesterday... but grass added to the background...

And a few Daffodil Delight die cuts and Blueberry Bushel coloured flowers later... 

Though I do have to laugh at myself as I have now realised that my 5 card designs.... is actually 6.... as I have another card to share... So if you are tempted with the Sending Flowers dies and my Class in the Post.... you will be able to vary your postal kit accordingly!

But before I go... here is the Aperture Tent Card recipe and tutorial for all of you...

1. Cut Thick Whisper White card to 12 x 29cm (US 4 3/4" x 11") and Balmy Blue card to 11.5cm Square (US 4 3/8" Square)
2. Score LANDSCAPE at 1, 13, 25 & 27cm. (US 1/4", 4 7/8", 9 1/2" & 10 1/4") 
3. Bone Fold Valley, Mountain, Valley, Mountain
4. Die cut aperture & colour flowers/stems as necessary
5. Stamp greetings as necessary
6. Adhere panel to back of card.
7. Adhere card using thin 1cm (US 1/4") section.
8. Decorate as necessary...
