Lots of Lavender Team Training Swaps

Did I say Lavender? But I personally see lots of Wisteria more...

Amongst a few other things! But more of those on another day...

Anyways... I shared my little observation with the lovely ladies at our Team Training event yesterday... in the form of my swap Narrow Notecard & Envelope... as I reckon that most people have either missed these little beauties of notecards in the Spring Summer catalogue... and those that have spotted them - do not realise how small and cute they are... but oh, so perfectly formed...
So main image from Lots of Lavender stamped in Elegant Eggplant... Lavender filler stamped in Wisteria Wonder... and leaves filled in Old Olive...

All set on the new Narrow Notecards & Envelopes... which are coming in ever so useful...  Wisteria Wonder mat 2 1/4" H x 4 1/4" W and stamping panel 2 1/8" H x 4 1/8" W
Coffee Break papers die cut with the 2 1/2" Layering Circles die - or could be punched with the 2 1/4" circle punch - to quickly decorate the flap of the envelope...

Lots of Lavender is another Sale A Bration promotional item... and so can be yours for free... for a £45 order...

Heartfelt Blooms in 3D...

Well not quite ... but quite a few layers... and when combined with the photographic effect of the Heartfelt Blooms flower... it takes on a "faux 3D" effect...

But probably not for the " I hate fussy cutting " people amongst you...
So I stamped the image in quite a few colours... Old Olive twice (so as to get 2 lots of the big leaves to add some balance), Fresh Fig, Berry Burst and Rich Razzleberry

And then fussy cut the image parts as I saw fit... at the time! Note that the image to the left of the full daisy is also a daisy... so I should have cut that out in the Rich Razzleberry too... not Berry Burst as I used here...
5 1/2" (14cm) square card... 3 1/2" (9cm) square Fresh Fig mat... and Whisper White 3 1/4" (8.5cm) square stamping panel

Greeting in Berry Burst plus Fresh Fig marker on the little words... and finished off with the Berry Burst 3/8" metallic edge ribbon...

And very hard to spot in the photo but Glitter Epoxy Shapes dewdrops added too... the perfect accent...
And remember that Heartfelt Blooms can be yours for free with a £45 order... as it is one of the Sale A Bration exclusive stamp sets...

A Clean and Simple Picture Perfect Birthday Pop Out Swing card

Here are the 2 together...
And here is the link to the first one with Tutorial details...

So which one do you prefer?

Love Island!

Bit of a play whilst I was designing this Waterfront stamp set card shared here... as I had to test out the palm trees as well... so here you go... a simple little scene...
Waterfront Photopolymer Stamp Set
An island in the middle of the sea somewhere... with a sole hut... made for just 2... or maybe Robinson Crusoe...

Simple stamped panel finished off on a Small Square Pop Out Z Fold card (Thanks again Kate!) for which the Tutorial was shared here... though I stuck down the central section on this one so the pop out is minimal!
Spot the details...

(1) shrunken hut ... I just inked the top half to get a shorter hut... (Soft Suede)

(2) shrunken palm trees off to the left... just inked part of the trunks stamp (Soft Suede)

(3) shoreline below the mountain created by just inking up one side of the long thin stamp ( Tranquil Tide)

(4) mountain stamped in Powder Pink at the top then Wisteria Wonder below...

(5) Greeting inked up using Wisteria Wonder ink pad and then the NEVER overinked using a Tranquil Tide marker...

Rest of detail as per the card shared here...
February classes here - or at your home (ie in the mail) - will be designed featuring this wonderful stamp set... so please contact me now to reserve a spot! I can't wait to really get going!

Heartfelt Blooms in Glorious Techi-Colour... or rather Blendi-Colour!

Another simple small square card from my Heartfelt Blooms Launch event display stock... this set can be yours for free with a £45 order... available in Clear Mount and Wood Mount...

Image stamped in Memento Black... and then simply coloured over with Stampin Blends Combo duos... Old Olive, Pool Party, Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy & Daffodil Delight...

Which reminds me... check out my 3 month Stampin Blends Club if you would like to spread the cost of a full set of Stampin Blends marker pens... with a free Stampin Blends gift from me each month... and you get some free Sale A Bration products too... Just click here... Sign up and start now for maximum benefit...

Easy to do ... as the image has dark shadow parts... for colouring in first with the Dark Stampin' Blends marker...
Followed by a bit of blending with the Light Stampin' Blends marker to further define the image...

Finished off with some white Signo gel pen dots for the centre of the back flowers (sadly retired from the Stampin' Up! range but readily available from The Craft Spa (while stocks last!) and at all good supermarkets and craft shops

And I found a very clear 2nd daisy off to the left of the main one... didn't spot that on my first few stamp'ings...

Bright & Cheery Epic Celebrations

Rather different to the last 2 days cards... but the last of my makes using the gorgeous colour combination of Lemon Lime Twist, Night of Navy & Whisper White set by the Colour INKspiration group to start off the New Year...

Simplest of card formats for a teen (or young at heart) card to allow the colours to do the talking... and to make good use of my aperture from yesterday's card ... well I don't like waste! [10.5cm square White card blank with a 6.9cm Night of Navy mat]
Using the Sale A Bration promotional stamp set, Epic Celebrations (yours for free with a £45 order)
And simply Lemon Lime Twist, Night of Navy and Smoky Slate markers for colouring...
And so here are the final trio together...
And oh dear... I have now lied...as... as I was clearing away my Lemon Lime Twist/Night of Navy bits... another card somehow got created... so one for another dull day in the future!

Another Petal Palette card using Colour INKspiration challenge #125 colours

As I said yesterday... I liked this colour combination so much I had to go on and make a couple more cards whilst everything was out...

So a simple aperture card today... using the Sale A Bration promotional Tutti Frutti Cards & Envelopes (which can be yours for free with every £45 ordered) These are rather nice!
As Stampin' Up! says... Let these spring-colored card bases and envelopes inspire you to make fabulous projects!

* 16 preprinted card bases and envelopes
* 4 each of 4 designs
* Folded card: 5-1/2" x 4-1/4" | 14 x 10.8 cm
* Envelope: 5-3/4" x 4-3/8" | 14.6 x 11.1 cm

Coordinating colors: Basic Black, Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party
Again the card mainly features the gorgeous Petal Palette bundle... though this time I have coloured in the "main event roses"... colouring details in yesterdays' post...

Picture Perfect Birthday greeting on the largest Stitched Shapes die cut square... and the aperture/frame is cut using the same Stitched Shapes square and the largest scallop square from the Layering Squares dies...

Finished off with a Stampin Blends coloured piece of White Organza 1/4" ribbon... I think I may be using quite a lot of this ribbon as it colours so beautifully and easily...

And here is a photo of my INK spirations colour challenge Petal Palette duo... lovely and fresh... and creating a very happy corner in my display...

Petal Palette for Colour INKspiration Challenge #C125

So a New Year brings a new intent and some changes to ways of working... So I have decided to do as many a good Stampin Up! demo does... and start to enter a few creative challenges during 2018...

So first up... a colour challenge... care of the Colour INKspiration Facebook group... Tricia Raineri chose this yummy & summery inspiration pic for #CI25. And we could also other neutrals such as Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Sahara Sand or metallics in the challenge project.
I can't tell you how happy I was working with this combination... light, bright, summery and right up my blues and greens street.... love it! So much so... that I couldn't stop with just the one project that I entered for the challenge... so more to come...

But for today... my entry to the Challenge... a small Bridge U Fold card as per this Tutorial I shared last year... though I only used the one box section/insert for the birdie perch.... so that was scored at 1.5cm from each side from a 11.5cm x 2.5cm high panel...
Featuring mainly Petal Palette... a lovely stamp and die bundle...
Along with Tutti Frutti papers... which have a fabulous range of colours on the "plain side". Great 6x6 pack to have in stock...
Stamped greeting from Picture Perfect Birthday... a greeting that I just can't stop using...
And finished off with a doubled die cut greeting from the fantastic Sale A Bration promotion die set, Celebrate You (yours for free with a £90 order) and which is, for the first time, a Sale A Bration  item that will continue for sale into the new Annual Catalogue come 1st June so long may it reign!
And some details for you...

I didn't colour in many of the flowers and leaves as I preferred the lightness of the marker duo inked flower images... but where I needed them... I used the Lemon Lime Twist watercolor pencil found exclusively in the Lots of Happy card kit... and just a Blender Pen and Night of Navy ink pad

The long leaf spray was inked in Lemon Lime Twist... and "marker thumped" with Old Olive to produce some texture/veining... and then fussy cut! The other images being die cut using the Petals & More dies...
Come back tomorrow for another bright and summery card to lighten your day... which I think we all need with all that white stuff tumbling down outside round here....
