Fancy Fold Friday with Field of Flowers...Two Ways

So this first version caused a bit of a stir when I shared it earlier in the week on the Stampin' Up Demo Only Worldwide Facebook site... so I hope this cheers you up too...

Actually it has been rather overwhelming as .. much to my surprise... so far nearly 1000 people have reacted to it and 120 wrote such lovely comments... and indeed are still doing so as I write this post...  Thank you each and every one of you... you did make my day(s)...

But here it was before... before the gnome treatment!
And a big admittance... actually three...
One... the colour combination for my Stampin Blend coloured gnomes was actually inspired by the new... and coming soon ... Snowflake Splendour papers... Highland Heather, Balmy Blue & Old Olive... with Gray Granite for the tree...

Two... as the colour combination was close... I couldn't resist adding my cheeky Gnome for the Holiday gnomes to play hide and seek in my Field of Flowers Bridge U Fold garden card that I had prepared earlier...!! Hah Hah Hah... Hee hee hee...

And three... I thought I had already blogged this daytime version of the card... but it appears I hadn't! Though I did post the moonlight version here... and the general card tutorial is linked in that post...
And spot that this is one of the cards in the Day series of the Field of Flowers Class in The Mail...  Click here for the details on that... as only a few days left until the class registration closes...  Though I have a hunch that I maybe doing a Field of Flowers plus Gnome for the Holidays in August!!
And then you can order the gnomes from 4th August... and so dress yours up then! With your £4.50 Bonus Days coupon codes in place to  reduce the price further! Bargain!

Thursday Today's Tiles Trio & Blog Search Tip...

And yes there are still more Todays Tiles cards left to share... this one actually being the first I produced... so bear with me...

A straightforward A6 card with a simple So Sentimental greeting...

And then a Faux bow added... though I ended up taking that off as I suddenly needed a card for a fella... and most of them are not so partial to a bow!

And so my first little trio of Clean & Simple cards were ready... More details on Namaste here and Hello here...
Until I added a fourth...
And then as all my regular blog subscribers know... I just carried on... so there are many more ideas shared on here if you want to enter TODAYS TILES in the Search This Blog box down the right hand side of this blog and hit enter... and a few more to come!

Field of Flowers Class in the Mail

Please note that this is my 2nd post for today... please scroll down for more creative inspiration...

Been weeks since I first promised this Field of Flowers Class in the Mail... but anyways here it is! Sorry for the wait... I hope that you think it is worth waiting for! Though many of the cards have been shared on here over the past few weeks...

There are 6 card designs... set out two ways... one set for day time and one for night time...

One set of 6 card kits, envelopes, sponge and masks will be sent if you order the Field of Flowers bundle (£38.20) Day set assumed if I don’t hear otherwise. Alternatively you can also pay £3 direct to me for the other set…or a double set…

Or both sets (12 card kits etc) will be sent if you top up your order to £60+ (OR Double Day or Double Night if you prefer) For example you may wish to also order the Lovely You stamps (£22) or 3 inkpads that I have used in the creation of these cards…
I have listed everything that I used in the making of these cards in a separate document. The essential product is the Field of Flowers bundle… alternatives could be used for many of the other items so I have not made them a compulsory purchase for the class. .

Click here or on the image below to check the list … as there may be products  for which you don’t wish to use an alternative product and so may wish to order now too! For example the Lovely You leaves and greetings, Winter Woods trees, My Meadow birds & clouds, Tasteful Textile texture and the various ink colours… The list should open up in an online drive...

Please order the products online for delivery direct to you quoting the current Host Code 9NUEAAKE.  If applicable - the Stampin’ Up! Bonus Days promotion will apply to your order (£4.50 to spend in August for free with every £45 ordered in July) however the class kit will be instead of my standard gift with order offer…

Class registration closes 31 July so your online orders must be placed 31 July latest.

Product substitutions can be made if you already own the Field of Flowers bundle. Minimum order values to be £35 for 6 card kit and £60 for 12 card kit.

After placing your order online - please forward your order details to thecraftspa@gmail.com along with your request for this Class in the Mail and confirming which set(s) of cards you prefer as applicable. Paypal payments for additional cards can also be made using this email address.

Card Kits, envelopes, sponge and masks will be sent under separate cover and should be with you by 14 August. Note that the envelopes are not SU! as the cards are mainly square ones… You'll also need your own adhesive, clear blocks for your stamps and ink pads and alternative greeting stamps if applicable…

Written instructions with photos will be emailed to you when the card kits are posted (plan by 10th August)

For Your Info... the eagle eyed of you may have spotted that I have shared other cards that are not included in these class shots... I had to simplify things for the class kits as I had made over 20 variants of these cards as I created a batch of thank you cards too... So there will be pictures of even more variants to share with the instructions for the 6 cards...

Hope that covers everything... If not, click here to email me with any queries...

Tuesday Tips with Today's Tiles #5

Please note that is the first of 2 posts today... please click here or scroll up for the Field of Flowers Class in The Mail details...

Another simple little idea and tip using the Today's Tiles stamp set... Ombre stamping...

Stamp inked up using Pool Party... then Coastal Cabana over middle two thirds... finishing off with Bermuda Bay for the middle third ...ish! Stamped...
Then re-inked as much the same as possible, lined up and stamped to the side...

Detail over stamped with Night of Navy... twice
Finishing off with a Stitched Shapes square with So Sentimental greeting in Bermuda Bay and Night of Navy...
And I have to admit... I may have been thoroughly enjoying this set so much... that I may now have to buy my own!

Apologies for anyone that has seen this post before... something went very wrong at the time and Blogger tells me that no one saw this post... and it is one of my favourite Todays Tiles cards so I thought I would re-post the information...

Hand Drawn Blooms - Sending Healing Hugs #1

And here is the third stamp set a lovely friend let me play with!
Hand Drawn Blooms... lovely stamp set... with an amazing die!
Though sadly I didn't get to play with the die...

The large image is stamped using Memento Black ink... and then coloured in using Stampin Blends...

A lot of colouring for me... but worth it...

I think I used Rococo Rose, Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Seaside Spray, Midnight Muse, Highland Heather, Mint Macaron, Old Olive, Mossy Meadow... Sorry I did colour this quite a while ago...
And for a final touch... the word "healing" is highlighted by stamping the word again on a Lovely Labels punched length of card...

Sending Healing Hugs greeting from my go to greeting set, So Sentimental...

Simple for Saturday & Loyal Leaves round up....

Finishing off the simple Loyal Leaves series... along with greetings from the brilliant Ornate Thanks set...

Showcasing the larger leaf that needs more space!  So a standard A6 card instead of the usual little squares... that's better than the diagonal leaf for the little square card series... see bottom centre in the group shot...
And here is the 7 card round up pic... Click here and here for more details on the 2 other trios...
And oh! I have just remembered... Whilst I was "working hard using my friend's Loyal Leaves set..."... I happened to stamp a whole sheet of A4 too... so I hope that I get a few minutes to work on my own One Sheet Wonder (aka OSW)... whilst still working hard producing christmas cards too!

Friday Field of Flowers ...

Quick Field of Flowers share today... as things just haven't gone to plan for the last few days!

And a tip... you don't have to use all of the greeting all of the time...  the grateful here is from the Lovely You "wildly grateful" greeting... Just the one word inked up with a marker pen...
Though we should have been having a week off this week... but no.. stay at home cation instead... which definitely isn't the same... or anywhere near!

Though I have to (almost) laugh... as I think I am about to fall out with my oven! With a full house... it is seeing far too much of me nowadays! Proportionally...

But on the other hand I am lucky that we are all able to be at home... safe, well and secure and all that...

More diagonal or diamond mosaics.... Todays Tiles #8

And so here is another Todays Tiles creation...

Just wish I had taken a photo of todays and Tuesdays side by side! But one has left the building already...so I can't do that now!
But for those of you that haven't spotted the difference! This one has a larger stitched square greeting rather then the diamond/smaller square on its side!

Wednesday WOW! - 2020 Graduate Celebration in the house...

Proud and happy parents here... as the son and heir got a 2.1 in Computer Science last week... what a star!

And this is the card (in his colours) I made!! Gray Granite & Merry Merlot...
A very large A4 Square card (so 21cm Square or US 8 1/4" Square)...

Really wish I hadn't sold this retired Morning Star stamp set on... though I have to admit to spending about an hour stamping this star in various colours before I passed them on!! And they have only gone a few miles up the road!!

Todays (Tuesday) Tiles... the diamond effect... #7

Liking this effect with Todays Tiles too... stamping "on its side"... from one corner of my little square to the other... to form a diamond effect...

Though I have just realised I could probably have done this differently... maybe I had better borrow the stamps again... and see if that way works! I'll be sure to report back if  I can... and if it does...
Namaste...
