Class of 2024 Graduation Card

A quick share of this years graduation card design...

Using the "perfect for the occasion" stamp set, Cap & Gown... which I have just found out... is still available in the Online Exclusives part of the Stampin' Up! offering... phew!

Everyone loved this card...as ... although my photos don't do it justice... this Star Fold Card is similar to a mortar board... so the perfect fold...

Though sadly I appear to have (hopefully temporarily) mislaid my instructions... but I'll keep searching... as this variation  and size took ages to work out!

Simple Wednesday WOW Wedding card...

I love to make a really big card from time to time...

And this was one of those times... featuring Bouquet of Love ....

Big Congratulations to the Happy Couple...

Oh and Bouquet of Love with its fabulous hybrid embossing folder still available... but not for long! And even better... available to order from 1st June at half price!!! Just £13.50 for the folder and co-ordinating dies...

Sorry to have gone AWOL for a while... I was busy creating for a class.. and then had various - for no apparent reason - aches and pains... which is stopping me from spending as much time on the PC as I need...

But I now have lots of cards created and ready to to share over the next few weeks... so lets hope those niggles just "do one"... and I can get back to doing things more normally...

Simply Elegant Pop Out Panel Fold card

Back to the wonderful Simply Elegant papers... with all their shine and elegance... especially when teamed up with the Copper Foil  sheets...

With a simple but fun fold card, a Pop Out Panel card (as per the tutorial shared here)... that some would probably called fancy!

Made especially for a very special occasion.... as my Stampin' Up! mummy, Julie Kettlewell at The Paperhaven achieved an amazing 500K in Stampin' Up! sales last week... so I couldn't resist sending something shiny to celebrate! Here's to the next half Julie!

Live in the UK? Want to make one (or even a few) of these cards...  then remember that you can order a co-ordinating Simply Elegant Paper Kit if you don't want full packs of everything... as all the paper, card and foil you need is in the Kit...

Though I do highly recommend adding at least the stamp set with this one... which I have used on the label...

OR just Click here if you would like the full Simply Elegant Suite... the free extras from me will soon be with you too...

Wednesday WOW! - 2020 Graduate Celebration in the house...

Proud and happy parents here... as the son and heir got a 2.1 in Computer Science last week... what a star!

And this is the card (in his colours) I made!! Gray Granite & Merry Merlot...
A very large A4 Square card (so 21cm Square or US 8 1/4" Square)...

Really wish I hadn't sold this retired Morning Star stamp set on... though I have to admit to spending about an hour stamping this star in various colours before I passed them on!! And they have only gone a few miles up the road!!

A bigger star...

Take a simple little card...
And make it larger...
Simply by adding to a large card blank... in this case a 14.8cm square card blank (about 5 3/4" - so I would use a 5 1/2" square card blank if using US Letter card size)
And it immediately become something more special...
Both inside and out!

Saturday Simple Morning Star Congratulations

Can't believe I hadn't shared this simple little card with you...
One made in a hurry as a box needed to go in the post about 10 minutes later!
But so very effective.... and just said it all... to a son that did so well in his exams!

And I liked it so much... I had to make two! And so did everyone else in classes!

The Bright & Amazing Congratulations one...

Thought I'd give you a day off from reading and seeing lots! And me a few days off from the typing, inserting and linking lots!!

So I bring you probably the brightest card I have ever shared...
Lemon Lime Twist combined with the new 2018-2020 In Color, Pineapple Punch...

To send neon Amazing Congratulations sentiments to another teenager celebrating their GCSE results...
Now which do you prefer? Lightbox or Birdhouse prop!!?
And click here for an earlier... slightly more subtle... version of the card...

Amazing Congratulations CAS Card Trio...

Sorry for the very quick post yesterday... but it was a case of needs must last night!

Told you I had made a few Amazing Congratulations cards... so here are 3 slightly different designs for you....

First up is the simplest stamped version... outline greeting stamped in Memento Black... and filled in using Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana... and a few little "stars" stamped around in Pool Party to soften... Finished off with the Twinkle Adhesive Backed Sequins...
Second up is the Silver embossed one I shared yesterday... and look closely as there are 2 versions of this one! The one pre Twinkle Adhesive Backed Sequins...
And the one after... One of those "little thing huge difference" moments...
And thirdly (and lastly)... the gold embossed "wonky" one... Yes... I stamped the extra wording wonky!! How annoying!!! So I added 4 rounds of Gold Metallic Thread to take the "focus" away... along with a few gold Metallic Pearls... which worked to a point...
So then I went for sticking it down at an angle... which works a treat! There is always a way round "the oopsies" when you think creatively... well that's my excuse...
The card is a standard A6 card in Bermuda Bay with a 9.5 x 13.8cm Whisper White mat (aka US A2 card with 3 7/8" x 5 1/8" mat)

And ... a few more results have since come in... so now I am off to make some more... think I may try out a different colour combination this time! I can feel something REALLY bright coming along...

Simple for Saturday... Amazing Congratulations...

So it has been a week of quickly making and posting lots of lovely but simple cards out to young persons as they have received their A Level and GCSE results...  as this year I have many young people to be proud of!

But I will have to be more organised next year!
So a very quick share today as it is late in the evening and I have just realised that I hadn't written up a post!
But I will be back shortly...with more details... but in the meantime the Amazing Congratulations set was my saviour! Along with a bit of silver embossing powder... and Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay inks...
Finished off with the fabulous Twinkle Adhesive Backed Sequins (stars)... Don't miss these!!! Can't tell you how much these little starry sequins finished this card off...

Something else new to share... Petal Palette

Just sharing happy post with something special for me again today...

Another card made for me using a gorgeous new product, Petal Palette from the 2018 Spring Summer Catalogue... thank you so much Julie (one of my lovely Stampin' Up! sisters) ... such a beautiful card...

This was also made to celebrate the special milestone of mine... though I think it is easier to spot today than on yesterday's celebratory eclipse card...
For the first time  in Europe... Stampin' Up! published The Top 50 Demonstrators in the UK for the last year... and I was featured! At no. 31...

To say I was surprised to be in the Top 50 - and amazed at no. 31 - and so proud - is an understatement... particularly as last year was not exactly my best Stampin' Up! year to date... lots of other things decided to get in my way! All year! So a real WOW for me...
