Painted Poppies Splatter Notecards Trio Step by Step Pictorial

So I have been asked a few questions on the creation of my Painted Poppy notecards with splatters .... so I thought it easiest to just make another, take some photos and come back to share!

So colourwise... I used Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray and Granny Apple Green on this and most of my other Painted Poppies samples but Poppy Parade (instead of Pretty Peacock) on the first version shared (as shown below but first shared here with more product details and images...
No masking involved...

And note that ...

stamped off the Seaside Spray (sky) splatters ie ink up stamp, stamp on scrap paper, then stamp onto card...

But I didn't stamp off the Granny Apple Green (grass) splatters - I just stamped twice/thrice without re-inking ...

(1) Die cut label ( this label is in the co-ordinating Painted Labels dies)
(2) Stamp single stem poppy in Memento Black
(3) Stamp large Splatters behind poppy (to top) NB stamped off!
(4) Stamp Granny Apple Green splatters to bottom NB stamped twice
(5) Using stamped label for required positioning on card... ink up and stamp Seaside Spray and Granny Apple Green large splatters directly onto notecard to left hand side... you can see better in the 3rd photo below...

(6) Colour in flowers and leaves using Stampin Blends
(7) Adhere stamped label to card using 3D foam Stampin Dimensionals
(8) Finish off with a hand cut Label Me Bold greeting (in Pretty Peacock/Poppy Parade)

And then I used the same technique on this card...
With the extra touch of the Enjoy Life grass image (in Granny Apple Green)... over the "grass splatters"  for extra definition... ie Top Left image below...
And I will be back soon with a tip for the shaped card mat behind that Painted Poppies/ Labels die cut label on this last card!

More on Monday - Rounding up the Daisy Lane series...

Bringing this series to a close... as I have realised that I have a lot more projects to share with you ...  So for today... a couple more clean & simple Daisy Lane makes with some more creative tips for you....

Firstly the only Large Daisy in this series... onto a standard A6 card (US A2)
Stamp a Gray Granite daisy on white and punch out...
Stamp and punch a Daffodil Delight 1/2" Centre (as detailed in this post)
Punch an aperture in the top white panel
Adhere onto Gray Granite mat
Adhere onto A6 (Tent) card blank
3D foam adhere daisy centre
Greeting from Flourishing Phrases in Gray Granite
And secondly... a simple small square (10.5cm or US 4 1/4") card... again with the Medium Daisy size...
Stamp 2 Gray Granite Medium daisies on white and punch out...
Note that I stamped and punched one of my daisies out of the centre of my white panel just to save some card.. though it is not actually necessary to do it this way! I wouldn't set it out this way for a class... or for bulk making... Although it does actually add some extra definition when used to stick my daisy on... so is a good idea if you would like to save some card!

Stamp and punch a Daffodil Delight 3/8" Centre (as detailed in this post)
Adhere daisies onto white panel
Adhere onto Gray Granite mat. Note that the top daisy is 3D foam adhered for extra depth... though flat adhere if cheaper postage is important to you! As it is more important to 3D foam adhere the centre...
3D foam adhere daisy centre
Adhere onto small square card blank

Greeting from Itty Bitty Greetings in Gray Granite...
Note that I only partially inked the "many thanks" greeting as I wanted an even simpler  - and shorter - look! Use a marker pen on the word you do want (or cover the word you don't want with a sticky note, ink up with pad, remove sticky note... and stamp)

And here you have the Group Shot! Scroll back for the last week or so for all the details on each  project separately...

Daisy Lane #3 - Punched Flower alternatives for 3D Thursday

So I realised that I could use the Daisy punches in a few different ways... and so get a few alternative flowers...

These are both using the medium size... but note that you can use both the Medium Daisy or (Large) Daisy Punch in the same way...

Which I added as a decorative panel to a couple of boxes we can easily purchase and just make up!!  As I am all for a simple life at the moment...
The larger Bakers Box actually fits in our 10.5cm Square Card blanks ( though not any co-ordinating envelope!) so it would make a nice gifting method for a pack of greeting cards... Click here for details for super CAS card shown
First Up... the Mini Pizza Box one... Really easy to do...

Punch a daisy aperture in a white panel... Then go back with the punch an slightly offset to one side...
 Punch again... and voila...
And second up the Bakers Box one... again simple to do...

Punch a daisy aperture in the white card panel... Punch a separate Gray Granite daisy...  And a 3D'd punched Daisy Lane daisy centre (as described here). Adhere white mat to Gray Granite mat...
And Gray Granite daisy over the Gray Granite aperture...
Finish off with 3Dd Daisy Centre...
Adhere to Bakers Box Lid...
And then I worked out a few more... but more on that another day!
