Triple Time A5 Stippled Blossoms Card with tutorial

This post is as promised for a very special lady - known as Battee - who celebrated a milestone birthday earlier this year !!!

A larger A5 card for a change using 3 of the discontinuing colours – Pretty in Pink with Regal Rose and Certainly Celery (with Wild Wasabi & Sahara Sand  but they will stay) .

I haven’t seen the dimensions for a larger card using the Triple Time stamping technique – so thought I would share the dimensions and a little picture tutorial too!!!

1.Cut your card pieces as follows:-

Certainly Celery – A5 Card Blank; 170 x 108mm; 130 x 68mm

Whisper White – 202 x 140mm;  165 x 103mm; 125 x 63 mm

 

 

 

 

 

2. Stick the 3 white panels together using a temporary glue

3. Stamp the 3 panels

4. Separate the 3 stamped panels & stick to the 3 coloured mats

 

 

 

 

 

5. Stick the 3 panels together… here is your actual card Battee!! This example has an additional 3D’d flower at the bottom left corner….

And here is another example using Pool Party & Island Indigo… which are colours that are staying around!! Hooray…

Colour Refresh 2013

Just a quick update on the first of lots of exciting news in the Stampin’ Up! world…..

Stampin’ Up! have announced that the upcoming 2013-14 annual catalogue will include 10 new colours in the Colour Collections ( some of which are returning In Colors from previous years) So we will be saying goodbye to 11 of the currently available colours…. There will also be an additional 5 new In Colors for 2013-15.

These new colours keep the Stampin’ Up! colours right on trend….. I can’t wait to get my hands on them…. and will share as soon as I do…..

If your favourites are amongst the discontinuing colours – do stock up on card and inks. These will not be available after 30th June – or sooner should stocks not last!! Note-some items are already out of stock!!

Quarterly Training Swap - Dapper Dad Black Tie… in Soft Sky! New colour alert….

Just popping onto share the swap card I made for last weeks Julies Jems’ quarterly training.  As always I had a great & inspiring day crafting, catching up with friends / fellow team members and learnt & shared lots of new things too….. I can highly recommend these sessions! We were challenged to make our swap samples  with the theme of Males….. I came to realise I must be quite strange though…. as I actually enjoy doing cards for Males… I seemed to be almost alone in that area! But although this theme moved many out of their comfort zone….. I came away with 30 fantastic samples with the Male in mind! Thank you ladies….. such talent!

I was inspired by this card by Debby Hughes… I saw this ages ago but it never left my head.. so it had to be!

For my actual swap on the day… the bow tie colour just had to be Soft Sky… a new colour coming to us from 1st July with the launch of the new 2013-14 catalogue in Europe. More on that another day!!! Soft Sky has been around the SU world before… but not in Europe… so this was a chance to use a “naughty pad” I had in my stash and so allow all of my fellow team demos a sneak peek of a new colour….. Needless to say you will probably see a lot of this colour from me after 1st July …. LOVE it!!

A really simple … but I think very effective card for males….. and for all occasions…..  There should be a wedding ( morning suit) version pictured too using Basic Grey…but an open ink pad landed on it before I could take a picture…. so I will try to remake and share another day…..

Not sure if the details will show… but both shirt sides are scored 3 times on the Simply Scored Board.

The gemstones have been coloured black with a permanent marker ( aka Sharpie in my world!!)

And the tie has been stamped twice… with one cut up into 3 parts, shaped using a bone folder and layered on top of the other…. adds real definition …..

And here are all 30 … ready to party!!! Or should I say…swap!
