Another really simple card with the Year of Cheer gold & white check papers and Merry Little Labels...

Year of Cheer & Merry Little Labels Part 2

Well I lied when I said I had made 2 of the brayered Year of Cheer cards on Thursday's post... I actually made a few more!!

This one is on a standard A6 card blank (again with a 10cm piece of paper) ... so US Letter nearest equivalent being A2 sized with 4" paper...

And uses just half a Foil Snowflake... so you can have 2 for your money...

Rest of the details as per Thursday's post... though I punched a Basic Black 2 1/4" circle to frame the Merry Little Labels greeting instead...

Year of Cheer & Merry Little Labels

With a good dose of Foil Snowflake thrown in for good measure!

Simple but sweet... and fast! So I made two! Which do you prefer? Black or Pool Party card...

Not recognise the paper? It is the Year of Cheer gold foil & white check piece (top right)... liberally dosed with black ink using a brayer... and then wiped off with a tissue to avoid inky fingers! So shiny still! Such fabulous papers!!

10.5cm square card with a 10cm paper panel (or 4 1/4" card with 4" panel if you are using US Letter sized card)

Merry Little Labels greeting gold embossed and punched out with the 2" Circle Punch... Pool Party mat punched out with the 2 1/4"Circle Punch...finished off with a Pool Party 3/8" Shimmer Ribbon bow...

I prefer the Pool Party in the flesh... but looking at just the photos... I prefer the black!

Merry Little Labels & Seasonal Layers & Quilt Top....

This is one of those... I recognise that... but do I really? kind of card...

The stamped Merry Little Label panel is the same as produced here... apart from 3 things...

(1) I added a 1/2" punched circle behind my deer before I sponged... but that was too indistinct when I removed the punched circle... so then I just moved the sponged ink around a bit more to get a light glow behind my deer...

(2) I chopped the Merry Little Label up into a square!
(3) I added Versamark and white embossing powder to the top and bottom to even it all out...

Stamped panel stuck to a small Night of Navy one... then onto a Quilt Top embossed panel... with a couple of clear glimmer Seasonal Layers snowflakes to add interest... finished off with a gemstone on the smaller snowflake...

Popped onto a small square Night of Navy card blank (10.5cm from A4 card with 9.9cm Thick Whisper White panel - or 4 1/4" card with a 4" white panel for those of you using US Letter card)

Small & simple... but ever so sweet...

Merry Little Labels in Falling Snow...

Another quick and simple card for you today... well I had to do a few whilst this gorgeous Merry Little Label stamp was still out... bundle available in wood mount and clear mount...

So a Small Square card today (10.5cm Square aka 4 1/8" - but 4 1/4" makes more sense with US Letter cardstock)

A Softly Falling embossed 9.9cm (4" for US 4 1/4" card) white panel for the background... 

The label is embossed using Versamark and White embossing powder, sponged or brayered with Night of Navy ink and then punched out... though of course you can punch and then sponge if you prefer it that way!

And Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon and bow to finish.... though the eagle eyed amongst you will have spotted that I have folded the ribbon in half for the length and the tying of the bow as I wanted a thinner ribbon than how it comes...

Winter Wonder meets Merry Little Labels

Now this card makes me happy! Beautiful embossed Winter Wonder snowflake with a bit of extra shine!!

And the gorgeous label from Merry Little Labels... All inked up in Soft Sky and then marker direct action over the top... Soft Suede on the deer and Tranquil Tide everywhere else...

And a simple Tranquil Tide In Color Bitty Bow to finish....

Now yes I did say shine.... I quickly covered the embossed snowflake in Precision Fine Tip glue... and then covered in Dazzling Diamonds glitter... so so sparkly!! Though I don't think the photos will do that justice...
