A Monthly Round Up of Christmas Projects...

Just out of interest I had a look and thought I would post a quick round up of the most visited christmas projects over the past month as the first one in particular was a bit of a surprise after all this time!! But he still makes me happy...

Hello Friend Christmas Tags...

So these are why the Hello Friend and Hang Your Stockings were out in the first place...

Some very simple tags as my ladies this week have a "Golden Balls" Topiary and a Christmas Lantern to make... but I did promise them some tags this year too!

White embossed on Crumb Cake... plus Hang Your Stockings greeting & berries

Gold embossed on white... plus Hang Your Stockings greeting & berries

And last but not least... Garden Green and Real Red Flowers on white.. flowers wouldn't have worked on the embossed wreath... too much smudging!!

And I have to admit that this will be my tag this year... but with copper embossing on Crumb Cake... as that is an absolute perfect match to the wrapping paper I bought at Morrisons last week!

So which came first... tag or paper... why... tag design of course!!!

Just A Little Note...

 

So this is what I was actually making when I shared this christmas version earlier...  a little note card to send to my online customers last month with their gift to say thank you...

So back to my little card... the wreath is from Hello Friend, berries from Hang your Stocking and the greeting and flourish on the envelopes are from Flourishing Phrases...

Though the stamps etc were actually out to make another even quicker project but more on that another day!

Hello Friend Christmas Wreath Note Card

Well I was busy making something else with my Very Vanilla notecards and Hello Friend stamps... and just had to make this gold embossed christmas version using the greeting and holly berries from Hang Your Stocking...

Simple and sweet... and quick with the use of the Very Vanilla notecards.... back with the other makes and more details another day!

Half Full & Stampin Blends...

Very quick share today...

Remake of this card but using the new Stampin Blends alcohol based blending marker pens... now that is more like it!

Green bottle top because I just wanted to use 3 Stampin Blends colours destined for christmas makes... Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Pool Party... and not because I wanted to spend the day singing "10 green bottles standing on a wall"... mmm! Sorry to those of you now singing away...!!!

Half Full for Christmas....

Back to the Half Full set... and a different christmas version.... with a few of my favourite colours!

A three layer card this time... set on a small square Sahara Sand card blank... (10.5cm square for A4 card -with 10cm Tranquil Tide mat & 9.5cm Glossy White Card stamped panel...or 4 1/4" Square if using US Letter -with 4" Tranquil Tide mat and 3 3/4" Glossy White stamped panel)

With a Pool Party sponged aperture...  sponged Crumb Cake bottle label... aquapainted Tranquil Tide bottle... Cherry Cobbler red wine & foil bottle top... with the glass lightly water coloured in Soft Sky ... and all over Wink of Stella ... and a stamped and hand cut sprig of holly to finish...

Winter Wonder meets Merry Little Labels

Now this card makes me happy! Beautiful embossed Winter Wonder snowflake with a bit of extra shine!!

And the gorgeous label from Merry Little Labels... All inked up in Soft Sky and then marker direct action over the top... Soft Suede on the deer and Tranquil Tide everywhere else...

And a simple Tranquil Tide In Color Bitty Bow to finish....

Now yes I did say shine.... I quickly covered the embossed snowflake in Precision Fine Tip glue... and then covered in Dazzling Diamonds glitter... so so sparkly!! Though I don't think the photos will do that justice...

Black Rhinestone Jewels... use for eyes, snowflake centres, flower centres etc etc when you don't want clear or pearls!! I can't tell you how many times in the past I have had to get a black Sharpie marker out on my jewels!!

Champagne Foil... so beautiful... so so subtle... but has to be seen in the flesh really!

Jute Twine... can't wait to wrap all my christmas presents in this... and do a rope trick maybe!!
