Wonderful Wreath Santa now fully Stitched!

Quick share of my update to the Santa with Legs Gift Box project... I had a few ladies wanting a class to make them and as I was prepping... my Stitched Frames dies turned up...so it seemed rude not to use them!

So his face and hat are now stitched dies. And his moustache, nose and boot cuffs are now all faux-stitched too...

Now that's better!
The Stitched Shapes Framelits are unfortunately now out of stock and unorderable...but I hear a rumour that some will be back in next week...

Beary Merry Cookie Cutter Christmas!

After the popularity of my dress up Baby Bears... I just couldn't resist dressing up my Cookie Cutter Bear as Santa...

Silly but cute! And caused a laugh amongst the serious art of cardmaking in my classes!
Also used Candy Cane Lane papers and Tin of Tags stamps for the sentiment

Detailed Santa Large Square Card

So after all the excitement of the Clearance Rack and the last week of the Special Promotions yesterday.... I can now go back to the Detailed Santa dies and Greetings from Santa...

Simple white die cut Santa with a marker coloured face which I did whilst the card was still in the die... I used my Blush Blossom marker stash... but otherwise I would have Aqua-painted Blushing Bride...
And check out his eyes... just added by hand to finish off the face... thanks so much to fellow demo Betty Guthrie for this wonderful bit of inspiration... no Santas without the eyes left here anymore!

Right hand panel and hat die cut from a Real Red card piece... with the stars dies in place for the right hand piece...  Scraps of clear glimmer sellotaped to the back behind the stars...

Mounted onto white card mat... Coloured face parts, red parts and white bobbles popped back in...
And for research purposes...here he is without the eyes...

See what I mean...

So a bit of surprise snowy mayhem...

But first... this week's Special Promotions... available today until Wed 14 September. Click on either picture to go to the details...

I have no idea what goes on in my head sometimes... but this card just had to be made...
Snowboard and snow from Mountain Adventure... Well I can see a modern Santa delivering presents on a snowboard instead of a sleigh....

Mountain Adventure Photopolymer Stamp Set
Tin of Tags greetings again (loving this stamp set and no... I haven't even made up a tag yet!)

And introducing... Cookie Cutter stamped and punched Santa... have to say that this set is proving extremely popular...

Actually I know a lot of people that this would amuse... so it will be one of my family & friends bulk cards this year...

Home for Christmas Santa Watercolor Thank You Cards

Just a quick last christmas share!

Just hours before the release of the new Spring Summer Catalogue and Sale A Bration promotion! So I will be back very soon with all the details on those...
So in the meantime...for once my son beat me to the writing of the Thank You cards!
So I had to quickly add a front to the blank notecards I had quickly handed to him so he could get the job done before heading back to school today...
And this is what I came up with... well it seemed a waste to not use those 3D Home For Christmas Santas I already had cut and ready to go...
They may be simple... but they do look cute!

Thank you Wonderful Wreath Santa - a special request!

So I had a special request on Friday...For a Thank You card to ... Santa!
This is for a guy who did a fantastic job for the village school Christmas Fete... as Santa!
So happy I could oblige...
Though ...being honest... this was a 5 minute card from start to finish...as I had a Wonderful Wreath Santa all ready to go...
But... it does say it all! The requester was VERY happy! Hope Santa is too...

And here is the link to the How to make the Wonderful Wreath Santa

Skating Santa!

Couldn't resist trying out this idea...
A cut-out Santa from the Home For Christmas papers...
A large oval punched through the paper...
Stuck onto the white mat so as to create the skating rink...
Finished off with the Fine Tip glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds on the skating rink and the blades....

So here is the quartet.... well Santa didn't want to be left out....

All care of the new Festive Builder Flower punch... (aka the poinsettia one!)
And the HOW To sheet... note this sheet still includes the moustache die for the moustache - well you didn't expect me to have sold it did you!!!?
And here is Santa holding is little Treats sack this year....
