Santa's Workshop Mr & Mrs card #2...

Probably can't get much simpler than this!

Remake of this Mr & Mrs Santa card I made earlier... just replacing stamped and coloured Signs of Santa images with ones die-cut straight from the Santa's Workshop papers using the Santas Signpost dies... simples! And SO quick!
Main greeting from Merry Christmas To All... and North Pole in the Signs of Santa set...
PS Don't forget to come back tomorrow for the Autumn Winter Catalogue Carryover List, the Year End Close Out Sale... and to order your Stamparatus bag!

Signs of Santa Mr & Mrs card

Mr & Mrs Christmas of course... couldn't resist!
Mr & Mrs from Signs of Santa... greeting from Merry Christmas to All
All finished off with lashings of Dazzling Diamonds glitter...

PS I used the Masking Technique for this card...

The 3 images were stamped again onto Post It Notes (or equivalent!)... then fussy cut... then laid over the Memento Black stamped images on the card... and Pool Party ink lightly sponged over the top of the masks...

Just remember to include as much of the sticky part of the Post It note under the images you are going to cut out!

The main Tags this year...

Mentioned these earlier when I shared these tags...
But I hadn't shared these copper embossed versions to match my wrapping paper (which I have forgotten to photo!)
... so here they are...
Again finished off with the Tinsel Trim for a bit of glitz... and for speed.... in the making...  and in attaching to the gift...

Oh and greeting changed to one from Father Christmas as it fit better in my wreath without going onto the embossed section... and so avoid potential ink smudging!

Father Christmas meets Lovely as a Tree

A trio of cards for you today using Lovely as a Tree with Father Christmas... all of which caused a real WOW in the flesh for my Christmas in July class... though I don't think you will get the full glitter shine across the room from these photos! Which is what realistically what causes the WOW...

Starting off with a simple... Small Square card (10.5cm or 4 1/8" to be exact or 4 1/4" if I had US Letter Size cardstock!)
And then mounted up onto a Large Dapper Denim Square Card (14cm or 5 1/2") with either glittery white embossed trees or black trees...
Which caused me some amusement as everyone had a very definite favourite between the two... and were almost arguing over each other as to which was the most WOW!
Stamped panel basically all made the same... Top part of frame white embossed for the Emboss Resist Technique. Trees white embossed or stamped in Archival Black. Bottom frame part stamped in Archival Black.

Snow line masked and Dapper Denim sponge brayered over the top. Layered onto a Whisper White mat or card blank... And a sprinkling of Dazzling Diamonds over Fine Tip Glue to finish it off...

So which one do you prefer???
And a time saving tip for you... though not one I actually used on these cards!

Although I am definitely a Wood Mount girl... I specifically bought the Father Christmas stamp set in Clear Mount... that way I can carefully position and mount the 2 parts of the beautiful frame image on the one clear block when using the same colour ink... and then ink up & stamp away in one action! Love this frame!!

Wonderful Wreath Santa now fully Stitched!

Quick share of my update to the Santa with Legs Gift Box project... I had a few ladies wanting a class to make them and as I was prepping... my Stitched Frames dies turned up...so it seemed rude not to use them!

So his face and hat are now stitched dies. And his moustache, nose and boot cuffs are now all faux-stitched too...

Now that's better!
The Stitched Shapes Framelits are unfortunately now out of stock and unorderable...but I hear a rumour that some will be back in next week...

When Joyful Nativity met Father Christmas...

Stand back in amazement... I have done some colouring in!!! Who needs adult colouring books when you can buy a lovely stamp set and colour in to your hearts content and then send your art out on your christmas cards...

These toys in a sack in the Father Christmas set are rather cute... but definitely stray into my "oh my word I can't see where to colour these... with or without the aid of glasses!!
Coupled with my much used JOY from Joyful Nativity... and the small greeting from Christmas Magic

And a bow from Perfect Pines has snuck in as well... Did I tell you that the co-ordinating Christmas Pines stamp set has 25% off this month!!?

Now I am hoping to share some of my favourite & special Christmas projects this year over the next few days... so watch this space....

Lovely as A Tree & Father Christmas

Another quick share today... Once I had used the Christmas Magic trees with the Father Christmas greeting frame stamps for yesterday's card... I was reminded of one of my favourite all time cards - so I had to quickly go upstairs and grab my Lovely as A Tree set...

About half an hour later and 4 cards were made... but this was my favourite...
Top part of frame white embossed for the Emboss Resist Technique. Trees and bottom frame part stamped in black. Snow line masked and Dapper Denim sponge brayered over the top. And a sprinkling of Dazzling Diamonds over Fine Tip Glue to finish it off...

Stamped panel then layered onto Whisper White and finally onto a 5 1/2" Square Dapper Denim card blank...

Jems Monthly Blog Hop - Santa Pants with Legs!

Hello and welcome to the Monthly Jems Blog Hop... with a theme of Christmas Decorations.... well apart from mine maybe... though it is quite decorative  - and it sits nicely on the mantelpiece - so please just stretch your imagination with respect of the theme....
But as I am now packing to go off to Telford for the On Stage event this weekend - there isn't a minute left to make something else.... Though as you read this I am actually at On Stage.... and I know I will be having a fabulous and inspiring time with my wonderful Stampin' Up! family & friends!!! Can't wait....

But hold on...that wasn't my original concept! That was just Santa pants with legs as the title says... here you go! It was supposed to have red smarties in the thin cello bags as the legs...but I guess I must have eaten the smarties I had been hoarding! So this was Plan B...
Great quick and simple project... for a gift, or treats, or a gift card - or even as a decoration! Fancy making your own? Well here is what to do...

(1) Take a White Gift Box, remove the acetate sleeve (I have another plan for that for another day!)
(2) Cover with 3" squares of Real Red cardstock. (6 squares needed if you cover the bottom too)
(3) Cut 2 pieces of Real Red cardstock 3" x 7/8" from your scraps... score LANDSCAPE at 1" & bone fold
(4) Die cut 2 Basic Black large Christmas Stockings. ( or 4 if you want to back the finished boots off - which I did for neatness...)
(5) Cut a 3/4" x  A4 long Basic Black card strip - and a 3/4" Square too... (legs!)
(6) Cut (or punch) a 1" Silver Glimmer square
(7) Cut off 2 Pom Pom Trim lengths with 4 bobbles per length
(8) Faux stitch all your black pieces with a white gel pen (optional!)
(9) Assemble all parts... note my legs are stuck to the bottom of the box and then covered with the last 3" Real Red card square
But then I remembered my Wonderful Wreath Santa.... and I found one of my samples too... So Plan C came into force... and the head was quickly added... and then he just had to have arms and mittens to finish him off!
The Basic Black mittens are just the ends of a large stocking die cut ... and I cut 2 more pieces of Real Red cardstock 3" x 7/8" from the scraps (again scored LANDSCAPE at 1") to pop his arms onto... remember to stick these onto the gift box before you stick the Real Red squares on the sides...!
For those of you without the moustache die that I used back in 2014... and without the poinsettia die used for the 2015 version... I reckon that the Foxy Builder Punch tail would do a great job for that moustache....

So there you have it... time to pass you onto the lovely Julie... just click on the NEXT BLOG icon below...
Or going backwards... click on the MISSED ONE? icon and go to the lovely Sarah's blog...

Father Christmas Wreath Card

Very quick share today... I guess that some of you knew this one was coming....

I decided that I could cope with the amount of colouring needed for the holly spray in the Father Christmas set.... and I am glad that I did as it definitely makes a lovely Christmas wreath...

Finished off with one of the bows from the Pretty Pines die set...
And talking of Father Christmas... come back tomorrow for our Team Blog Hop - and the first sighting this year of the full-bodied jolly old man himself!

Father Christmas and a Stocking....

Back to the lovely Father Christmas greeting frame...  and the Jolly Christmas greeting is in this set too...

Used this time with the small stocking from the Hang Your Stockings stamp set... which is one of the stamp sets available with 25% off during the November promotion
And remember that there are co-ordinating Christmas Stockings dies available too. Really love this bundle of stamps and dies- so much to go at!

Night of Navy, Smoky Slate and Whisper White colour theme. With just a Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper die cut bow plus a rhinestone to finish off...
Simples...

And here are the Father Christmas & Stockings duo together.... the larger one being previously posted here...
