Baby Bear Dress Up in a Shadowbox Frame

Don't fancy a Small Square Pop Up Z Fold card to display your dressed up bears... well here is an alternative for you...
Pop them in a Shadow Box Frame instead... card or home decor...you decide...
Now the eagle eyed amongst you will have realised that I am re-purposing previous projects here....

And that the following two don't work so well!!!
But sorry... time was not on my side to re-make these 2 box frames.... but you can have a laugh...!

Want a go at this shadowbox frame yourself... Here are the tutorials... Metric here ... Imperial(inches) here

And a groupshot...

The Bear, the In Colours and the Wardrobe - and a Blog Hop!!

Can't believe how quickly it has come round to the Monthly Jems Team blog hop! And this month we are showcasing the new In Colours...
So I have already introduced you to the new In Colours quite a bit by sharing the projects I made (so secretly!) back in April for On Stage, Telford... All of these new colours are fabulous... even the ones I first didn't like!!... and each and every one has a place in the SU colour range ... so you do need every one... they are truly a great collection to have...

But I could not put my brand new favourite furry friend, Baby Bear down!!!  I having been having a lot of fun.... when you have a daft idea ... some days you just have to run with it...

Nor could I stop making my new favourite Square Pop Up Z Fold card format.... which I re-sized for today... Nor could I not use the Designer Series papers which only about 80 demos in the world have as of today!!! Monday being another matter.... 10s of 1000s will have them....

So without further ado let me introduce you to my new In Colour furry friends.... who have been playing dress up!
First we have Dapper Bear in Denim... all dressed up in his dapper bow tie and waistcoat (care of the Owl Punch)
Then we have the very Flirty Baby in Flamingo ... she is such a tease!! With a beautiful bow in her hair and her lovely baby bib (also care of the Owl Punch) Spot the decorated papers too....
Now it is time for our Emerald hugging Envy Bear... well I am envious of an emerald that big!!! (from Playful Pals)
Next up is Sweet Sugarplum Bear... adorned with her pretty bow and sweet candy necklace (do you remember those!!!? My baby sitter always used to bring is those as kids.... ) Again spot the coloured flowers on the paper too....
And last but not least... though he got lost on the way as he obviously he can't see!!!! Yes it is is Peekaboo Bear in Peach... with his shiny John Lennon glasses (care of Fine Tip glue & Playful Pals).... and he also has a shiny nose (though that won't be repeated! I have cheated by using my marker to colour it in afterwards )... Funnily enough Peeky was the first one made... and the originator of my idea for dressing up the bears....
I am SO loving Baby Bear - he is definitely bringing out the inner child in me.... (and yes  - in case you hadn't guessed it - my favourite childhood book used to be The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe!!! Hence the title of this post)

Go here for Bear Stamping Tips...
And here is the Tutorial for these Small Square Pop Up Z-Fold cards...

Sorry I have kept you so long..... but now it is time for you to move on to my lovely team mates Karyn if you are going forwards...or to Sarah if you are in reverse mode... Just press on the relevant button... more new In Colour gorgeousness awaits you...

Bakers Box Easter Bunny

If you need something larger for your Easter Treat giving... but still cute... here you go!

Simple enough care of the Bakers Box die and the Pyramid Pals stamp set and dies...
Though with hindsight... I do wish I had added some paws!
That is it for my Easter Treats this year... though there is a special one I am itching to make.... we'll see what next week brings!

Easter Pyramid Pal Easter Chick... extended...

Ok ... where there is an Easter Bunny... you will always find an Easter Chick not far behind....

I just couldn't resist! Charlie Chick for you today.... Sitting on a Pool Party box this time....

I had to re-visit Home Bargains today... to stock up on these polka dot square muffin boxes... and would you believe it... no Pool Party and Blushing Bride in the pack any more... but hey Mint Macaron and Pink Pirouette instead... yes I am even happier!!
In fact... that may be a good enough excuse for another Pyramid Pal lidded box make at the weekend...

Easter Bunny Pyramid Pal... extended version...

Another easy project for Easter today... lots of happy oohs and aahs over re-creating this little project....

A pyramid bunny care of the Playful Pyramid Pals stamps & dies....

Popped onto a scalloped polka dot  square muffin box as a lid (mine from good ol' Home Bargains).... more than doubles the amount of chocolate you can gift! And looks SO cute!!
Finished off with a Honeycomb Bob Tail on the back ...
And a Playful Pals carrot... an awesome idea for which I cannot take any credit! That goes to Karen Fontinelle whose blog post you can visit here for more details....

I drew my lines in using marker pens the same colour as my card (Tangerine Tango & Cucumber Crush) - but I would stick to a black pen for a re-make!
