Wonderland - Trees in the Snow - and a Pictorial

Another simple Wonderland card suitable for mass production at this time of year...
Trees under snow and in the snow and on the snow!
And a lovely glittery sparkle as well...
And seeing as it is Tuesday - so Tips, Techniques & Tutorials day - here is your step by step pictorial on how this is produced...

(1) Stamp your trees using Craft Whisper White ink. Set aside to dry...
(2) Place your Stamp A Ma Jig sheet over the top so that you can see the white image over and off to the right
(3) Ink up trees in Mossy Meadow and stamp using your Stamp A Ma Jig
Look lovely snow on your green pine trees...
(4) Grab your Craft Whisper White ink pad again and a sponge/finger dauber...
 (5) Daub white ink under your trees...
 (6) Ink up & stamp Whisper White snowflakes ...

 (7) Daub Whisper White ink around the panel...
(8) Set aside to dry...best left overnight for maximum snow effect ( if the green ink is still a bit wet - the glitter tends to pick up a green tinge)

(9) Ink up & stamp Mossy Meadow greeting and mount onto crumb Cake card blank
(10) Add glue and glitter over your trees
Tombow or Fine Tip glue plus Dazzling Diamonds the best for maximum sparkle - though Dazzling Details or 2 Way plus Dazzling Diamonds work too
Personally I am torn between my trusty Tombow (which is slightly thicker in line but that dries the most white for my snow) and the new Fine Tip Precision glue

Close up of those trees... shows how snow laden they are - but not the glittery effect....
This may be better...
And here are a couple of blurry photos to try to show the overall sparkle off - it is incredibly sparkly in the flesh...
 (11) Add a glue and Dazzling Diamonds snow line to the horizontal too (optional!)
 Simple but effective....

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! And a Wreath!

Well...my Autumn Winter Catalogue pre-order box arrived today...so I got a tad distracted...

It is full of gorgeous goodies and I can't wait to get creating for Christmas and share with you.

Have to admit that this year I found it REALLY hard to decide upon my first must-haves... the list was very long as the Autumn Winter Catalogue is full of so many fantastic products.... I am in Christmas image and greetings heaven.....

So I have the Autumn Winter catalogues all ready to go. Here is a front cover teaser for you!
Just contact me for your copy if you are not seeing me over the next few weeks or want one posted.

And I can place your order from 1st September when the catalogue goes live. Orders and payment to me at least a week before please... so by 25th August please...

Don't want to wait till 1st September for your Christmas goodies ... want to get on with your Christmas makes this month.... join our team and you can pre-order the Autumn Winter Catalogue products as your starter kit! Otherwise known how to beat the queue!

And yes I did say I got distracted by my box.... I had finished a whole series of new projects to start to share with you today... but excitement got the better of me  - and it is now very dark outside - so too late for photos.... oops! Sorry.... Back soon...

In the meantime... this is the only Creative Share I have for today... albeit a retired one... but it maybe useful for someone who has their Build A Bouquet flower kit from the Spring Summer seasonal catalogue left over...

We decided that making all of the flowers each was maybe a bit too much.... so we shared a kit amongst 5 of us... and made a wreath instead... which was a good decision... just Burlap ribbon wrapped around a metal frame... ( note the wider burlap ribbon for the bow is non SU! from Amanda pre SU! stash!!)

Though I wish I had hung it up to photo... it is a tad squidged at the bottom.... but I am sure you get the idea...

Golden Ornamental Pines

Amanda Bates, The Craft Spa, 083

Just a very quick share for today.

Here is a very simple card made using the Encore Gold ink, Ornamental Pines and a few splodges from Gorgeous Grunge!

Amanda Bates, The Craft Spa, North Yorkshire 064

I hope that you are all more ready for Christmas than I am….

I have ticked off quite a lot …but  many left to do… Next step… tree decoration ( sorry Julie W – there would only have been a bare tree photo today!!) …then house decoration!! Only 2 weeks later than usual….Ooops…

Again sorry for the bad photos… I really need Santa to deliver my replacement lights set…. not long to wait now…..

Oh! Bring us some Figgy Pudding

Many Merry Stars, Amanda Bates, The Craft Spa 020

Oh I so have that song in my head!!!

So here is my little Curvy Keepsakes christmas pudding. Almost good enough to eat….

And some tips to make for yourself….

Gorgeous Grunge “splats” make the raisins etc

The icing is made from the 2 3/8” scallop circle punch. 4 of them… The 2 on the handle sides were stuck on and then trimmed to shape. The other 2 were die cut over the pointy & slit side of the Curvy keepsakes die and then stuck on. ( Though I have just realised that I could maybe have die cut the scallops with the handle sides too – would have been even better….)

The greeting on the little tag is one of my favourite greetings this year – from the Project Life Holiday Cheer set… oh did I tell you …. that is carrying over!! (along with the PL Seasonal Snapshot range)

Wondering where the holly is from – that is from my favourite stamp set in the Autumn Winter Supplement – 12 Days of Christmas…
