More Tuesday Thank Yous... featuring Varied Vases & Ornate Thanks

Another design for another batch of bulk thank you cards... these being sent to food industry workers to thank them for what they do...

I was inspired by 2 fellow demonstrators sharing their makes on the same day... using the soon to be retired, Varied Vases... and the greetings set, Ornate Thanks

Firstly this card by Mary Fish in the US - who actually helped to design this stamp set! Great job Mary...

I loved Mary's use of the stitched "table top" using one of the Stitched Labels dies... which I don't have... but I do have a serrated fabric tracing wheel which does the job in a flash! I just placed my card blank onto my trusty Simply Scored score board and away it rolled!

And secondly AN Other card... that I now can't find! This time I loved the simple use of just the vase outlines and had to use the idea straightaway...

And I have to admit that the Stamparatus worked its magic on me in the making of this card... can't tell you how quick these were to make once I had everything set up... so I have made 2 batches of 40 so far!

On Stage Card Swaps Part One.... The Pinks...

I love to create a project... make lots of said project... and then take part in the General swap at the Stampin' Up! events...

It is not obligatory... and it does take a bit of time up front... but it is fun... and you get to meet ( & know) other people... and become very inspired... as well as have some projects to share with stamp sets and papers etc that you haven't got...

So I have been making for and sharing such beauties with my ladies for many a year... but this year I thought it high time to share more widely... and so I have a few Swap Series for you... the 3D series already being shared over the past few weeks...

And so now I come to the cards... And I don't think any day will disappoint ... as there are some real beauties in here... with something for everyone...

Happy Birthday to me again... Frosted Floral Pop Out Z Fold Card

Here is another beautiful creation sent for my birthday that I can share with you... and don't miss last week's post for the other birthday love & greetings I received...

This gorgeous card using the NEW Frosted Floral papers has been created by my lovely friend, fellow demonstrator and teamie Kate Martin...

I should have put these papers in my Top 10 of Everything else post last week... as they are fantastic... but my brain was pre-occupied with Christmas makes at the time... so these slipped through the net... as they are all gorgeous and can be used all year round... and are particularly lovely as they have a soft sheen...

Kate has also used the lovely Stitched Labels dies for the front feature...

And the Pop Out Z Fold card fold is one of my favourite folds over the years... for which I was originally inspired by a convention swap created by... yes you guessed it... Kate Martin...

You can find the tutorial for the 10.5cm Square version by clicking here... though this time Kate's is a larger 5" (12.5cm) Square version... so you need to cut your card 5" x 10" (12.5 x 25cm) and score when landscape at 1 5/8" (4.2cm) and 5" (12.5cm)

Again thank you so much Kate, Kate, Julie, Uma, Caroline & Cheryl ... I felt very special as I opened all the envelopes and revealed all these beauties...
