So here we go... the simple way to make a Nested Labels Double Point card... as long as you don't want the "flappy bit" which (for many) is probably a main feature of the original Double Point Card... though not for me...
So this simplified way gives me everything I like in the Double Point design... but at speed... and with less materials being needed....
And I changed this one up after the original Noble Peacock De-constructed Double Point Card posted here... as thinner Magnolia Lane papers meant I could add a co-ordinating mat whilst I was at it...
And please note that for simplicity's sake in the Tutorial...
(1) I kept the paper panel the same size for both of these card variations (the coloured mat being optional and that bit larger...)
(2) I have not altered the panel & mat dimensions for a wider US A2 card (4 1/4" ilo Rest of World A6 4 1/8" wide)... so you will have a bit of a white gap to line up on the top and bottom edge of this version...
But that's nice! So why re-design and complicate matters!! Look at this version here to check out "a bit of a white gap"

Birthday Celebrations for Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop
Hello and welcome to the Global Stamping Friends June blog hop from Amanda Bates in the UK... This month we are simply celebrating birthdays.... so please carry on and hop around and be inspired by the makes of my lovely crafty friends around the world...
But before you go... here is my own little creation to share with you... a Birdhouse birthday card made with my mother very much in mind... as she loves birds... and a birdhouse...
And I have to admit that I am really happy how this turned out... and looks like I have a new set of dies to get all creative with!!
Another version of my (current favourite fun fold) Pop Up Front Step Panel card... adjusted to make a little Stitched Nested Labels birdhouse... using a couple of the nested labels and the little straight liner too! (see die second down on the left! Note that this die does not cut...it just adds a line of the double stitching...wherever you want it! Fab!)
Perfect design to use with the gorgeous new Bird Ballad papers....
And finishing off with Itty Bitty Birthdays for the greetings...
I will be back with more details on this card another day... as there are already a few versions to share with you!
And now I shall say Goodbye... and pass you onto the lovely Lisa Ann in the USA... who has something bright & beautiful to share with you... Just click on the big arrow!
And in case of any glitches - or for those that prefer to work with a list... here is the Roll Call of all those taking part this month...

Happy Birthday to me again... Frosted Floral Pop Out Z Fold Card
Here is another beautiful creation sent for my birthday that I can share with you... and don't miss last week's post for the other birthday love & greetings I received...
This gorgeous card using the NEW Frosted Floral papers has been created by my lovely friend, fellow demonstrator and teamie Kate Martin...
I should have put these papers in my Top 10 of Everything else post last week... as they are fantastic... but my brain was pre-occupied with Christmas makes at the time... so these slipped through the net... as they are all gorgeous and can be used all year round... and are particularly lovely as they have a soft sheen...
And the Pop Out Z Fold card fold is one of my favourite folds over the years... for which I was originally inspired by a convention swap created by... yes you guessed it... Kate Martin...
You can find the tutorial for the 10.5cm Square version by clicking here... though this time Kate's is a larger 5" (12.5cm) Square version... so you need to cut your card 5" x 10" (12.5 x 25cm) and score when landscape at 1 5/8" (4.2cm) and 5" (12.5cm)
Again thank you so much Kate, Kate, Julie, Uma, Caroline & Cheryl ... I felt very special as I opened all the envelopes and revealed all these beauties...
And here are all my handmade cards together... though I do also have to thank everyone for the shop bought ones I received too...

Yes I am 21 YET again today!!! So I thought I would share some lovely cards that friends and fellow demonstrators have made for me for a change...

I consider myself truly blessed to be part of such a creative group of fantastic ladies... and I thank you all for these beautiful cards from the bottom of my heart...
So in no particular order...
Bike Ride card by Kate... particularly love the glittery bricks... look closely!

Year of Cheer Snowflake Flowers & Stampin Blends Part 2
Following on from yesterday's post with the details... another quick tip for the Stampin Blends (coming soon!) for you...
Want a coloured Foil mat in a colour of your choice? Well now you can... just colour the edge of your Silver Foil mat using your Stampin Blend marker... in my case, dark Bermuda Bay to co-ordinate with my flowers (on yesterday's card!)
Though I will be honest and say that it works well for a thin mat such as used here... but I wouldn't use this technique for a larger area and it goes quite streaky when you have to go over the same area multiple times...

Year of Cheer Birthday Flowers with Stampin Blends...
First up... a Team Color Challenge ... featuring the 2017-19 In Color, Berry Burst...

Second up... Year of Cheer snowflake flowers in more typically floral colours... click here for more details on the flowers... Berry Burst sponged all over one of the Pansy Punch flowers...
Third up... the delivery of my new (coming soon!) Stampin Blends alcohol markers... so outlining and colouring with my Bermuda Bay dark & light markers rather than carrying on sponging... I wasn't sure that it would work over the foil detail... but it does! The foil still shines through... And no inky fingers...
And a Clear Faceted Gem quickly coloured using the brush tip end of the dark Rich Razzleberry Stampin Blend for one of the flower centres... just because I could! Though personally I prefer a clear one!
Fourth up... two step Painted Harvest stamped & Leaf Punch punched leaves given dimension with a quick score along the centre using my trusty Bone Folder and thick Stampin Pierce mat... really makes those leaves pop into life...
And Fifth up... oh that can wait till tomorrow!! Though the eagle eyed amongst you have probably already spotted it!
Set off around a silver embossed Big on Birthdays greeting to match the foiling on the snowflake flowers...

Time of Year Double Z Joy Fold Card...
I wondered what would happen if I took a Small Square Pop Up Z Fold card (Tutorial here) and merged it with a Large Square Pop Up card (Tutorial here) ... with no arms required....
And wow... I really LOVE the result... kind of like a Double Z Fold Joy Fold card if you know what I mean.... how exciting....
EDITED TO ADD: Tutorial for this Double Z Joy Fold Card now posted here
But in the meantime...what do you think this card fold should be called... answers on a post-card please!! Well a comment below should do the trick!
And oops before I go... some new products used today....
The new Hostess stamp set, Time of Year. (Really love this set!)
And Confetti Celebrations for the YAY star and inside greeting...
And mmmmm... the new Copper embossing powder....
And you have seen the Dapper Denim papers out of the 2016-18 In Color paper stack on here a plenty before!!!
Now talking of the New In Color Paper stack... I have pulled together a Craft Spa 2016-18 In Color Kit... you know the kits - you get half of anything I can split and a few yards of each co-ordinating ribbon. Just let me know if you are interested and I will send you the details....

Blackberry Bliss Rose Wonder
This is a card that Patsy made!! Didn't she do well... I love this version... so had to share with you all ... though I don't think the photos actually do the card justice... the Blackberry Bliss is just "scrummy"
Patsy came to class and wanted to make a card for her husband for the following day... so here it is! We just switched the white rose on the original card for the somewhat darker and deeper Blackberry Bliss...and changed the wording to that in the Birthday Blooms stamp set...
Happy Birthday Brian...
And as a final note...don't forget that the 2014-16 In Colors will retire in a few weeks time... so don't forget to stock up on your ink refills this month if you have the pads... as well as any cardstock, papers and ribbons etc...
Once the retiring list is published in May everything goes out of stock really fast (ink refills in minutes!) Just sayin!.. And the Washi Tape is on Weekly Deals this week (so 25% off)
And here is a great summary sheet of the items in question produced by Lyssa Zwolanek .... thank you for this Lyssa...
