More Tuesday Thank Yous... featuring Varied Vases & Ornate Thanks

Another design for another batch of bulk thank you cards... these being sent to food industry workers to thank them for what they do...

I was inspired by 2 fellow demonstrators sharing their makes on the same day... using the soon to be retired, Varied Vases... and the greetings set, Ornate Thanks

Firstly this card by Mary Fish in the US - who actually helped to design this stamp set! Great job Mary...

I loved Mary's use of the stitched "table top" using one of the Stitched Labels dies... which I don't have... but I do have a serrated fabric tracing wheel which does the job in a flash! I just placed my card blank onto my trusty Simply Scored score board and away it rolled!

And secondly AN Other card... that I now can't find! This time I loved the simple use of just the vase outlines and had to use the idea straightaway...

And I have to admit that the Stamparatus worked its magic on me in the making of this card... can't tell you how quick these were to make once I had everything set up... so I have made 2 batches of 40 so far!

Love this one! And an admittance ... as I had seen this card posted somewhere on social media a week or two before... and said WOW at the time!...  In fact I may have even commented (which admittedly is rare for me)... So I gleefully swapped and received this one!! I couldn't contain my excitement!! It was a funny moment... Though I am sure I wasn't the only one...

Lovely Handwritten & Pop of Petals card by Elizabeth Bennett... who I hope enjoyed here first On Stage!

Sensational Swirly Frames & Butterfly Gala card by Jayne Owen... I suddenly feel a need for the Swirly Frames (fingers crossed they carry over!) And oh yes... so they do!!

And lovely Incredible Like You & Cute Crew notecard by Carol Clark...

Which reminds me... that there is a "problem" with these swaps... as suddenly you spot a must have product that had not caught your eye before... and so it can become costly... unless you have great self restraint!

Varied Vases Round Up... and card trio!

First of all apologies to those of you that had Deja Vu on my blog yesterday morning!!! For the first 3 hours I had reposted a card from Wednesday!!! Talk about a distracted moment!!! But by chance - luckily I realised and changed the card at about 10am!!! So you will have 2 posts to view today!!

As I said before... we were very busy at Quarterly Training creating lots of cards with the Varied Vases bundle...so I thought I would wrap up the series today with the last three cards... 

And finally post the Group shot...that I know so many of you love to pin on Pinterest!

So these are the final three... 

Mint Macaron polka dot papers... white polka dot tulle ribbon... Pool Party ink aquapainted in the vases... centre vase and flowers 3D'd... and stamped/filled in flowers in Highland Heather... Card & papers recipe as in this post...

Varied Vases #5 & colouring ribbon...

Another of the Varied Vases suite of cards... very easy and quick to get creative and makes lots of variants of these...

Spot the coloured Mint Macaron ribbon on this one... easily and quickly done by dragging my White Tulle Polka Dot ribbon between a sponge and ink pad...

Rest of the card details as per this card... though this time we used the Layering Squares scalloped frame as well as the Stitched Shapes stitches square... 

Varied Vases #4 -TWO-lips...

Another day... another clean & simple Varied Vases cards in Subtles for you...

But please come back later for my Fancy Fold Friday Simple Swing Easel card tutorial as promised... which has missed this morning run (long story!!) ... so I had to do a quick switch... so 2 posts for you today...

So back to this card... Standard A6 Tent Fold Card Blank (US A2)... with a 14.3cm x 10.5cm (US 5 1/4" x 4") dotty Petal Pink paper panel... 

Die cut Stitched circle having stamped co-ordinating Petal Pink tulips either side of Highland Heather spray of flowers... 

Water & levels achieved by partially inking up the solid vase filler stamp in Pool Party...

Finished off with the lovely Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon...

Varied Vases #3 - Mint Macaron & Highland Heather

Another of the lovely clean and simple cards series made using the Varied Vases bundle...

A simple Mint Macaron leaves trio ... sat in Highland Heather paper punched vases (with central one  direct to edge inked for more definition)... all on a Stitched Shapes circle... with a Classic Label punched Mint Macaron greeting...

Varied Vases #2 - Petal Pink

Another of the lovely clean and simple cards made using the Varied Vases bundle...

A simple little Petal Pink orchid... with a Calypso Coral centre added by hand with the thin end of a marker pen... Sat in a Mint Macaron stamped and punched vase... all on a Stitched Shapes circle...

Don't think you can get much simpler than this... but one of the most picked up from my display...

Varied Vases #1 in Highland Heather

 

So a series of project shares for you using the new Varied Vases photopolymer stamps and Vases Builder Punch...

Along with the lovely new Colour Family 6 x 6 Designer Paper Packs in Subtles...  Also available in Regals, Bright, Neutrals, 2017-19 In Colors and 2018-20 In Colors... great packs to have in your stash...

And finished off with the fabulous new Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins... which are a product that is easy to miss... 5mm adhesive sequins in Mint Macaron, Pearl White, Petal Pink, Sahara Sand, Soft Sea Foam... 50 in each colour ... making 250 in total... Seriously lovely... 

We used this bundle of products for our last Quarterly Team Training... so some are as designed by Julie Kettlewell... and some (including this one) are as designed by me!

I was unable to attend the whole day... so luckily I had photos of most of the projects in advance so that I could get on with all the stamping and punching... so for once I finished them all... but some were different to that intended...

So this simple little card is a Small Square (10.5cm Square aka US Letter 4 1/4") Thick Whisper White card blank ...with a 10cm Square (US 4") paper mat... A Soft Sea Foam die cut scalloped Layering Squares square with a Thick Whisper White Stitched Shapes Square...

Greetings stamped in Highland Heather... first and second stampings to get the variety in depth of colour... Vase and flowers stamped in Memento Black... Vase on Pool Party papers then punched... flower then stamped in Pool Party ink... with a white sequin to finish

Coming to the end of my shares on My Favourite Things from the new Catalogue... and this one is always the hardest for me... as it is time for My Favourite Bundles... You know the co-ordinating products with 10% off the bundle when you buy both of the co-ordinating parts!

Though I have finally realised why I find this one the hardest to decide on a Top 10... and that is because I get a lot of product for free as a reward from Stampin' Up! for my sales during Sale A Bration... and this year was my best Sale A Bration ever...

So I have been VERY fortunate to pick a lot of products in this category... as I do tend to maximise the benefit by buying bundles... but we are limited to products/bundles up to £40... so a lot of my Bundle choices have been capped... so I kind of have a 2 pronged Favourite Top 10 Bundles approach... half up to £40 and the other half with no £cap ...

Anyways ... here you go... these are my Overall Top 10... most of which are here OR winging their way to me... so you will get to see plenty of these in use as the months roll on...

Yes I am totally predictable... a bit of architecture and I am smitten!!! But I can't wait to produce with these stamps and dies... easy house makes from now on!!!

Pick A Pennant... 

Such a useful all-round & all-occasion set of images & shapes... this was a real favourite for everyone on my table at the Stampin Up On Stage event when we first saw the new catalogue... and then we were lucky enough to get the stamps as an All Attendee giveaway... not much noise in the room when that happened!!! 

Broadway Birthday... 

This should really be further up my list... but it is too difficult & too time consuming to move everything round now!! 

I know this one is a going to be a real favourite amongst my crafty ladies... again a set that can be used for anyones birthday (of any age or gender) and other special events and celebrations too... 

Tropical Chic... 

And its wonderful co-ordinating Tropical Escape Suite... I must be going through a bit of a leaf theme at the moment... as this is a bundle & papers that sang (probably) most to me when I saw the On Stage Display Boards... Available in both Clear & Wood Mount...

Little Twinkle... 

With its fabulous co-ordinating punch... and co-ordinating with my favourite pack of Twinkle Twinkle papers for all-round & all-occasion use... though definitely not just for Babies... though I am sure I will manage one baby card or two with them!!! Pop of Petals... 

One of those 'can't be without' a quick flower & punch set bundle... and even a butterfly too!... so probably will end up as the most used out of all of the 2018-19 catalogue bundles I will own... Available in Clear & Wood Mount
