Tea Together Teapot stamped on Watercolor Paper... die cut... and then coloured/striped with Mossy Meadow ink picked up from the ink pad lid with an Aquapainter brush and "swooshed" across

And a bonus tip for you... something that was making people laugh at me at Team Training when I made this! But I still don't think it's daft!!!

I found it impossible to even start to attempt to get those water-coloured stripes straight without assistance... So I lined the stamped & die cut teapot up on my grid paper... got my trusty ruler out and lined it up at the top of the teapot... across the top of the spout/pot and handle... just under the lid...

I then "swooshed" my first stripe across underneath the ruler (taking care not to touch the ruler as that would have made a real mess!!)... and then I freestyled the rest... suddenly easy that way!
Country Floral embossed Soft Sea Foam panel... on a Mossy Meadow mat...

Grapefruit Grove Gingham Gala paper strip stamped with Tea Together greeting

Finished off with a Tea Together stamped & die cut flower on Watercolor Paper... Aqua Painter coloured with Grapefruit Grove with a Cajun Craze centre... with Mossy Meadow for the leaves...

Wednesday WOW! Santa Workshop Concertina Card

Always a favourite card format amongst my ladies... the Tag Topper Concertina Card... of which you will find 10 or so variants if you click here (or pop "Tag Topper Concertina" in the search box down the right hand side)... For just about every occasion!

And you will find the step by step tutorial here... as well as a link to Julie Kettlewell's video tutorial too...
A card that has caused a few Ooohs & Aaahs whilst on display... even amongst the non-Santa Workshop-believers! Though as always it is difficult to photo and share on line to the same effect...
It does show off the Santa Workshop papers rather well... and... not a Signs of Santa stamp was harmed in the making of this card!!!

Though the Santa's Signpost dies came in rather useful... as they are the perfect size to die cut the images on the papers as well as the stamps!! Albeit I would be happy to fussy cut of an evening myself! As is my way!!

And of course our trusty Large Letter dies were invaluable (as always!)
Thank you Julie...again... for such a great card...

Simple for Sunday - Rooted in Nature Gatefold Card

Love this large and bold greeting in the Rooted in Nature stamp set... not only does it say what we need to say... but it is big and bold enough that everything around it can be left simple...

So an A6 Gatefold Card... Copper embossed greeting... Crumb Cake stamped tree trunk "slice"on the stamped circle... Grapefruit Grove and Soft Suede leaves on the Nature's Poem papers and around the stamped circle... Soft Suede scalloped circle... finished off with doubled Crumb Cake Natures Twine
Circles all care of the Layering Circles dies... where would we be without these!

This is a card we made at last month's Monthly Training... so thank you Julie... and click here to see a few other variants using other Nature's Poem  paper patterns on Julie's blog... and the inside (as I forgot to open it up and take a photo of the inside!)

Tuesday Tip - Multicoloured Polka Dot Ribbon...

So this is a card we made at our last Monthly Training event... featuring the Bike Ride stamps and co-ordinating Build A Bike dies... along with a Happy Birthday Gorgeous greeting...

Along with a lovely colour combination using 2 new colours from our new colour palette! Balmy Blue & Grapefruit Grove meets Pear Pizzazz ... with a little Basic Black and Crumb Cake...
But I had to wait to get my card home...as I just wanted to try something before I put it all together...

So out came the Balmy Blue & Grapefruit Grove marker pens and the Light Old Olive Stampin Blend marker pen... and 5 minutes later... multi-coloured Polka Dot Tulle ribbon to match!!
And a bonus tip for you... the white would need colouring on both sides if you can see the ribbon from both sides...
Love it when a test works out positive!! And great card design too Julie...
