Global Stampin Friends Blog Hop welcoming Sale-a-bration and the Spring-Summer/Occasions Catalogue

Hello and welcome to The Craft Spa in the UK... to 2018... and to our Blog Hop to welcome the new Spring Summer Catalogue and Sale A Bration!

I have picked one of my favourite suites in the new Spring Summer (aka Occasions) catalogue to feature today... Picture Perfect Party... and decided to start with just one piece of the 6x6 Designer Paper stack as a base image... and make a trio of cards for you...
Picture Perfect Party
This suite is light & bright with photographic images & co-ordinating photopolymer stampsStampin Spots to get the party going... and keep it going... definitely perfect for birthday makes... and for making you feel happy whilst you are making them!

So one piece of 6x6 paper (from the stack of 48 pieces) cut into 3 parts... two 3" Square and one 3"x 6"...

First up a Large Square Double Z Joy Fold card... for which you will find my earlier Tutorial here... and that admittedly needed a couple of other pieces of paper from the paper stack to join my base piece!
And I was particularly happy to realise I could just add a gift card to the central section so this card now doubles as a Gift Card Holder too!! Simples! Definitely a go-to card for the rest of the year in these parts! And I love that the Debenhams Gift Card within is so Lemon Lime Twist!!!

Finished off with co-ordinating Berry Burst Silver Edge ribbon... which is perfect but actually from the Sweet Soiree Suite...
Second up... a Split Trio Panel on a standard A6 Bermuda Bay card...

The 3" x 6" piece of paper being cut down to 11.9cm  high... and then trimmed into 1" (2.5cm) wide pieces...  Mounted onto a 8.1 x 12.2cm piece of Whisper White...and then in turn onto a 8.6 x 12.7cm Lemon Lime Twist panel
Spot the blower with the greeting... 6" length of 3/4" wide scrap paper curled at one end and a 3/4" Square snipped piece of Lemon Lime Twist card at the other... which was needs must!

As the Picture Perfect Fringed Crepe ribbon shown in the catalogue is sadly not going to be available... but hey my scissors can do a good job instead...
And last up... a simple Pool Party Small Square card (10.5cm/4 1/8") using the last 3" Square piece... stamped in Archival Black... which I prefer as it is cleaner looking and clearer to see!
Simply mounted onto a Basic Black 3 1/4" mat... and finished off with the 3 of the Tutti Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins which are a (colour) match in heaven... and a real stash must have in my opinion...

If you like what you see... and want to see more... please pop back here tomorrow for my part in another Blog Hop featuring more projects using the Picture Perfect Birthday suite... as once I started I just couldn't stop!

And if you are in the UK and want to see and touch your own papers, ribbons and embellishments from the Spring Summer catalogue without spending a fortune... then click here for details of my Product Shares and/or Paper Swatch books... current round closes this Tuesday, 9th Jan...
