Another spoiler alert!
So whilst I had the copper embossing powder and Copper Foil sheets out for the Baptism card... A quick little christmas card using the new and coming Wonderful Year stamp set popped into my head...
But bear in mind everything was going wrong that day... so I cut my mats wrong!! Which meant 2 things... firstly I couldn't use the intended (very large) greeting - and secondly the mats were short!
Not one to be beaten... I remembered my dotty copper washi tape in the Affectionately Yours pack and my white mini Pom Pom Trim... so a quick dressing up and a bit more depth later... and here you go...
So much coppery shine!!
Though I'll attempt to cut things right tomorrow and have another go!!

August Monthly Jems Blog Hop
The theme this time is Boxes or Bags - or indeed any type of Packaging project...
So since it has been a long while since I made a Handled Cantilever Box... and my Affectionately Yours papers were still out desperate to be put to use again...
The box is made from Kraft card and I faux stitched everything with a marker pen...
I kept the decoration really simple as there are enough lovely flowers in the papers... just a copper embossed Love & Affection flower, Botanicals Blooms leaves and small Blossom Blooms punched flowers. And an admittance... the brads and candy dots are retired stock... but I had to have brads for the project!!
I do still have the Imperial and Metric pdf Tutorials for sale for this box. Reduced to £3 - OR - if you are in the UK - free with a £25+ Stampin' Up! order (before P&P) - for the next week.
But PLEASE do remember to tell me whether you want the Imperial (inches) or Metric (centimetres) tutorial.
The easiest and quickest way is to send £3(GBP) by Paypal to me at thecraftspa@gmail.com stating CANTILEVER BOX and whether IMPERIAL or METRIC. Paypal does any currency conversion necessary if you select GBP as the currency to send so you don't need to worry about that.... I will send the tutorial through to your Paypal email address (unless otherwise advised on your payment notes) within 24 hours of your payment.
OR click here and EMAIL ME to request a Paypal invoice … Please advise your Paypal account email address and state CANTILEVER BOX and whether IMPERIAL or METRIC. You will then receive an invoice via Paypal for payment. The tutorial will be emailed to your Paypal email address (unless otherwise advised on your payment notes) within 24 hours of your payment.
Or (option for UK residents only) - place an online order here quoting the Current Stampin Rewards/Host Code (see Top Right for code). Please then email me at thecraftspa@gmail.com quoting your order number and whether you want the IMPERIAL or METRIC version. The tutorial will be emailed to you within 24 hours. Your Stampin Up! goods will be with you direct from Stampin’ Up! in 4-7 days.

Affectionately Yours Small Square Double Z Fold Panel Card
Another one of these cards using different colourways of the Affectionately Yours papers...
But with an even simpler Mint Macaron Pansy Punch flower finish! Just decorated with a copper embossed Love & Affection flower centre and a larger Layering Circles die cut scallop/circle panel.
Greeting care of the One Big Meaning stamp set
Apologies again for the short post ... but Jon's hospital visit took up rather a lot of today! He is back in a pot and on crutches... and will now be at home for at least the next month... so my August is about to be re-planned!
And don't forget to come back tomorrow for the Monthly Jems Blog Hop... you will be in for a treat (or two!!)

Affectionately Yours Small Square Double Z Panel Card
A smaller version of yesterday's card... along with stamped and punched flowers this time... care of Petite Petals stamp/punch and Flower Shop/Pansy Punch...
Small Square Double Z Panel Card this time... for which the 2-cards-at-a-time tutorial is here... but if you are just making the one card... you just start off with a 13 x 21cm piece of card instead of the A4...
Layering Circle dies for the front panel this time

Double Z Fold Panel Card Tutorial
Time for another Floral Affection and Affectionately Yours Double Z Fold Panel Card... Last week's original shinier foil version shown here...
In the flesh this looks very similar to my Double Z Joy Fold card... but it uses less cardstock... and it opens out fully...
And seeing as it is Friday... yup... a Fancy Fold Friday Tutorial for you...
(1) Make one of these....
NOTE that you want to stick the back square paper piece...then the arm... then the front left paper piece this time...
(2) Add a 9.5cm/3 3/4" Square matted panel to the front with the bottom of the square panel lined up with the bottom of the pop out arm of the card (mine is 9.5cm Square Crumb Cake; 9 cm Square Mint Macaron and 8.5cm Square Whisper White - or 3 3/4" Crumb; 3 1/2" Mint; 3 1/4" White)
(3) Add images off to the right hand side of the arm to cover it all up...!
And some decorative details for this card...
- greetings from Stylised Birthday and Confetti Celebrations
- large and small flowers stamped in Night of Navy on Crumb Cake and Whisper White and cut out by hand
- Mint Macaron marker pen highlights on the leaves of the left hand paper
- White gel pen small flower centre highlights on the left hand paper
- Mint Macaron & Crumb Cake marker pen colouring on the dots of the back square piece of paper (and I have to laugh...this was supposed to be random... but it all ended up with a uniform pattern!!! Such is my way!!! And still with a diagonal line of white dots.... Ho Hum...)
And oh ... my favourite bit of detail... but unfortunately no detail photo taken... so probably difficult for you to see...
Botanical Builder die cut Mint Macaron fronds... stamped with Mint Macaron Touches of Texture fine splat spray!!! Fabulous!!!! Incredible difference... so much more life like... try it and see....

Affectionately Yours Double Z Fold Panel Card
A new twist/combination on my Double Pop Up Z Fold card (tutorial here) and my Double Z Joy Fold card (tutorial here)...
Love it when a new card variant comes together... and one that uses less card... and is even simpler! So yes a new favourite of mine this week!
Really loving working with these papers and co-ordinating stamps... and the embossing folders are fabulous too...
Sorry for brevity today... big family celebration long weekend ahead... Back with more details on this card next week... and more Affectionately Yours cards sooner than that!

How Much is that Doggy in the Window... and the Jems Blog Hop
Let me introduce you to Bella & Friends... so so cute! Available in wood or clear mount. So how much is that Doggy in the window... £25 in wood or £18 in clear mount.
I think my little friends look quite furry (or feathery) and realistic as a result... though you do have to like a bit of fussy cutting if you go this way! Spot the shiny nose, collar, bone and balloon too... all care of the Fine Tip glue
The card is one of my Centre Step Easel cards... tutorial here. I cut down my card to 28.9cm this time so that I could just fold the base into the card for posting in a standard C6 envelope...
You might also spot that I have not added any "stop" to prop up the easel card... to be honest I don't think you need one when you add this base to a Centre Step card...unless you want to use it for effect with a greeting... or to do this as an alternative....
I just couldn't resist... rug care of the new Delicate White Doilies which was coloured using the Watermelon Wonder ink pad direct and the little puppy is scored along his tummy to make him the easel card prop!
I have used 2 different papers... the Serene Scenery parquet flooring and Affectionately Yours flowery wallpaper were both just perfect for the card... Actually it was the parquet floor that made this a card that HAD to be made!
And I am particularly pleased with my window! Not only the triple aspect... more on that later! But the new Foam Adhesive Strips were fabulously easy for making it a 3D frame - and my dog and balloon are 3D'd using Stampin Dimensionals as well. Really pops!
And some more of the detail...
The sky background is just a swoosh of a baby wipe loaded up with Pool Party ink onto a Whisper White card panel. I used a 6.3 x 11.5cm (2 1/2" x 4 1/2") piece
Spot the Subtles Enamel Shape shape on the dog collar... too cute!
So time for a quick photo tutorial of the window....
1. Die cut 2 Hearth & Home windows
2. Chop off top of one and bottom of other - leaving just a single slat...
3. Put the chopped off bits aside... you need those for something else later...
4. Apply glue to upper section of bottom window
5. Stick top window to bottom!
6. Apply Foam adhesive strip to back of window
7. Stick your stamped sky panel to back of window.
8. Grab your chopped off window pieces and make your skirting board like so...
Sorry to keep you so long...! But I hope that you like this creation as much as I do!!! It got an EEK!
It is now time to carry on with the Blog Hop... Carry on by pressing the NEXT or BACK buttons here... Your choice which way! Either way you are in for a treat with Julie next or Sarah previously...
