Simply Elegant Pop Out Panel Fold card

Back to the wonderful Simply Elegant papers... with all their shine and elegance... especially when teamed up with the Copper Foil  sheets...

With a simple but fun fold card, a Pop Out Panel card (as per the tutorial shared here)... that some would probably called fancy!

Made especially for a very special occasion.... as my Stampin' Up! mummy, Julie Kettlewell at The Paperhaven achieved an amazing 500K in Stampin' Up! sales last week... so I couldn't resist sending something shiny to celebrate! Here's to the next half Julie!

Live in the UK? Want to make one (or even a few) of these cards...  then remember that you can order a co-ordinating Simply Elegant Paper Kit if you don't want full packs of everything... as all the paper, card and foil you need is in the Kit...

Though I do highly recommend adding at least the stamp set with this one... which I have used on the label...

OR just Click here if you would like the full Simply Elegant Suite... the free extras from me will soon be with you too...

Christmas Gleaming Ornament for 3D Thursday...

Oops... a quick share today as I have an All Day class and I thought I had written up a post... but hadn't! Good job I checked...

So I was asked to do an ornament... and so here it is! A Christmas Gleaming and Stitched Stars multi punched 3D extravaganza...
Hope they like making this today!

I certainly did... and I have another idea for one of these for another day... fingers crossed I get there on the makes list!

However I won't get as far down my Christmas makes list as usual.. as I do now have my operation booked for 26 October - yes a Saturday!! (for a chole-wotsit-as-I-call-it AKA gallbladder removal AKA cholecystectomy as the surgeon likes to call it!)

And so I will be indisposed for a while after that... and am burning the midnight oil getting projects made for all my October, November and December classes before then! No pressure!

And so now back to Piece of Cake and the card...
I just had to add a Swirls & Curls debossed mat to finish it off... Probably the first time I used a debossed side... but both sides of this pattern are truly scrumptious! Available in the Autumn Winter Catalogue (and shhh... happy dance... carrying over!)
And three versions of the card for you today... with and without the Copper Foil mat... More details on the stamping and colouring elements in yesterdays post...
And finished off with a tiny Copper Trim bow... for those of you that like your bows...
And seeing as I was taking a few more photos... here is your Sneak Peek of the whole stamp set... though apologies as I forgot to put the punch in the shot!!! Aargh!
Piece of Cake stamps and co-ordinating punch available from January 2019. Punch is a doubler... punches the cake and the stand...

And finally a couple of gluing tips for you for the stand part... You can either use the Thin Foam strips...like so...
Or you can use a couple of Mini Stampin Dimensionals and cut up the thinnest left around the sides of your Stampin Dimensionals... like so...

So introducing... a 21 piece photopolymer stamp set called Piece of Cake... with coordinating Cake Builder Punch... available from January 2018...
I know this is going to be popular! It just covers so many occasions... and who doesn't like a piece of cake! Especially when it is such an easy BAKE (make!)

And oh I have forgotten to photo the inside... but is says "Who cares what the question is!"

Come back tomorrow to see inside... along with the whole stamp set.... and a slightly more decorated version of the card... as I will have taken some more photos by then!!
Stamped, copper heat embossed & punched cake set on a Stitched Shapes die cut square... with Bright Copper Shimmer Paint colouring of the flowers... for which I used the Blender Pen (against SU! advise!! But it worked fine for me here!)

With and without a Copper Foil mat... mounted onto a small square (10.5cm or 4 1/4") Whisper White card

Leaf Punch Wreath Seasons Greetings...

Well this card was so popular I was asked to make it again... but change the sentiment! It appears that "Merry Christmas from our Family to Yours" doesn't suit a lot of people!! Funny that when it will be my most used greeting this year!

Though I did actually (eventually) get it... as if you only make a few christmas cards to send ... most of them will actually go to your own family!! Whereas I make all my christmas cards to send... so only a few actually go to my own family!
Click here for more details on the card... but before you go... this copper embossed sentiment is from Snowflake Sentiments...which is fantastic Christmas sentiment set... and my go to this year...

Foiled Wreath Card using Painted Harvest & Snowflake Sentiments

Take a Leaf Punch... punch a few Champagne and Copper Foil leaves... the Champagne ones being punched from the lovely large Foil mat...

Stamp a lot of Painted Harvest leaves in Cajun Craze with Copper embossed veins...then punch those too...
Copper emboss the Snowflake Sentiments greeting on the Whisper White card panel... then draw a circle around it using the outside of a parcel tape and a Frixion pen (or pencil)...

Stick all your leaves on around the circle... and finish off with a Burlap Ribbon bow... and sticking all onto a Large Square Card Blank...
We liked this one so much I had to do another to speed up the making of this card... but more on that another day!

Seasonal Bells Part 3 - Not for Christmas again...

Now you may be noticing a bit of a theme with my copper foil Seasonal Bells creations!
Same layout... ever decreasing mats... Well this is why! One for the more frugal crafters....
Cut a Copper Foil mat... mine is 13.8 x 9.5cm which was for my Pine Boughs embossed card shared here....

And carefully "gut it"... ie cut a 1cm wide frame within it ... That becomes the second mat... Repeat and get the third mat. Size your white panels to fit...and there you have it 3 card mats from one piece of the stunning copper foil.

Or in longer speak... just for the first "gutting"...

(1) Line up your foil mat at 1cm on the Top Bar of your trimmer... say PORTRAIT first...
(2) Cut from 1cm to 12.8cm (ie 1 cm from the bottom)
(3) Turn 90 degrees so now LANDSCAPE. Cut from 1cm to 8.5cm (ie 1 cm from the bottom)
(4) Turn 90 degrees so PORTRAIT again. Cut from 1cm to 12.8cm
(5) Turn 90 degrees so LANDSCAPE again. Cut from 1 cm to 8.5 cm

Added All God's Grace stamp set to the mix here for the Christening card...

And amazingly... the 3rd and smallest mat was also the perfect size for our notecards! Ignore the fact that this mat is Cherry Cobbler... I just forgot to take a photo of the notecard with the foil mat!

Wonderful Year & Embossed Debossed Pine Boughs Part 4

Embossed debossed pine boughs this time... yes seriously!

Just a delicate swipe of Versamark on the raised face of the Pine Boughs embossing folder before winding through the Big Shot...
Then a liberal dusting of copper embossing powder on the ink on the de-bossed face ... rough tap off... brush off as much of the rest as possible... then heat to melt...

Finished off with the other greeting in the Wonderful Year stamp set... again copper embossed. And all on a Copper Foil mat...
Not 100% clean & crisp heat embossing... but effective none the less
PS Back to normal posting time today!!! Last 2 weeks have been a bit of a challenge to keep up...so some posts some days have been very late!!

Wonderful Year & Pine Boughs Embossing Part 2

So here is the clean & simple card I was intending to make in the first place....

Just a copper embossed greeting from the fabulous Wonderful Year stamp set...coming soon...
Plus a dry embossed pine bough from the Pine Boughs Embossing Folder... coming soon...

All on a Copper Foil mat...coming soon...
And finished off with Fancy Frost sequins... coming soon... Now these are actually Sweet Sugarplum (ie quite pink!) but in the flesh they take on a copper hue...so I reckon they do the job rather nicely! the pack also has Soft Sky and White Gold sequins (just so you know for 1st September!)
