It's My Party Balloon Builder Extra Large Double Display Card

Another incredibly quick post for today... but I just had to share another of the projects we made in classes this week...

I just love those special moments with the Fancy Fold cards - when my ladies sit there very proudly afterwards with their make - flipping them back and forth!! We all loved this one!
Lots to look at ... and lots to point out... so "I will be back" as they say! In the meantime... don't forget that the Watercolor Words are on Weekly Deals this Week with 25% off... and ... oh how much do I love these Balloon Builder balloons.... just dreamy! And the little ones... oh so much fun!!!! A stamp set of 2 halves in my book...

Travelling down to Telford with my team tomorrow... Can't wait!! Lots of lovely people to see... lots of lovely creations to see... and the new catalogue and new products in my hands... swoon... See some of you there!!

Last Sale A Bration projects to share...

Second post for today... as now less than 75 hours left for the Sale A Bration promotion... so 3 projects for you... all using at least one of the freebies available for every £45 you spend with Stampin' Up!. All of these were made at Monthly Training sessions during January to March - so thanks Julie!

First up is a pullout card in a box.... using Party Pants (my favourite SAB freebie!) I love this!!! Which is code for this is a project you will see again....
Secondly a bow featuring the Metallics Glitter tape... I need to stock up on this... so if you wish to place any orders under that magic £45 level for your own freebie so that  I can do so... I will be forever in your debt.... Tee Hee...
And finally What I Love - a 3 Step stamped flower...

Well I had a bit of a reaction when I posted this project on Saturday...so I thought I had better get toute suite onto the tutorial for you!

Bear in mind that this explosion box bag can be left plain and used simply as a treat bag as well as adding the stars, mats and photos and making it into a mini book as I have done here... multi talented project or what!

4. OPTIONAL. Mark 4 corners of inner square (makes it SO much easier to see what you are doing!!!)

5. Score 4 corners (each outer corner to corresponding marked inner corner) TIP – using the Diagonal Score plate makes this easy! Score Top left corner and Bottom Right corner, Turn paper 90 degrees. Then score Top left corner and Bottom Right corner
6. Trim each corner across diagonally (ie cut corner triangle off as per the black line!) & retain the trimmed off sections TIP – square things off by placing the previously cut side up against the Top Bar – Top Tip Louise! Thanks!)

6. Using a ruler, score - and then crease - from 6” marks on sides to corresponding marked inner corners

7. Valley Bone Fold all straight score-lines

14. Die cut Whisper White & Stars Paper Deco Labels

15. Adhere parts together & score centre of Deco Label
16. Adhere ribbon to white side of bottom section of Deco Label (ie the bit that will get stuck onto the bag so you won’t be able to see it!)

17. Die cut card and paper stars (Note : I used 3 ¾” Square card pieces to cut the card stars out of as that was easier in a class situation… but you could get away with a smaller piece if you are doing this for yourself!!)

18. OPTIONAL. Stamp paper stars as required. NOTE – these star sections can be used/ are intended for photos

15. Adhere all parts

When is a Bag not a Bag...?

So ...moving on from Easter Treats....

To one of the projects I made for my Quarterly All Day Event last Saturday.... This event is really special to me... not only do I get to share crafty time with a great group of ladies... whose oohs and aahs are SO appreciated as they spy projects I have been making over the last 3 months around the room.... always makes me laugh!!
But I also get to make projects other than cards for a change! And you know what they say... a change is as good as a rest!  Certainly helps me to re-charge my mojo!!
One of the papers we used was the fabulous It's My Party stack...such a wonderful array of colourways and patterns for all occasions...but also such great value for money...

So when is a bag not a bag... when it is a mini-book of course!! This is a project we first made years ago... we did a small one from a 6" square of paper in class - and then Debbie came back to the next class with a full re-sized one from a 12x12 piece of paper ... with lots of photos decorating it... still love these Debbie! Thanks yet again....
Just a few photos to be added to complete the look! Or leave as it is and fill full of treats... or even a gift card
And have to say the free Sale A Bration Party Pants stamp set was particularly amazing in making this is a simple stamping project....

And I have to draw your attention to the paper clip bows.... dressed up with a colouring of pink Sharpie pen and a scrap of Melon Mambo underneath (I just used the bow as a template to draw round, cut out that rough shape with scissors and then trimmed as necessary!)

Edited to Add... as I have been getting lots of lovely comments today from around the globe.... watch this space for a tutorial... now coming soon!! In the meantime here is a link to a previous posting of a mini book bag...which gives you the idea of the bag as a mini book with photos in it! Though note that ... the linked version is a different shape!!

Balloon Celebrations - Embossed Dandelion

Just a very simple card to show you an embossed dandelion this time... onto Watercolor paper with Lost Lagoon Aqua Painter watercolouring over the top...
Though I have to admit that I rejected this option for classes... too hard & ends up too random... as you can't see where you are stamping the Versamark seed heads... so crafter beware! Shame...as it does look fab...
Whisper White seedheads and Lost Lagoon seed head centre/dotty circles on the mat to finish...

And here are the 2 together...

Balloon Celebration Dandelions Simple Easel Card

So this is the image potential that sold this set to me at first sight! Think you could say I have a thing about the blowing of dandelions in the wind!
I am delighted that the 2 little seed images can be used to produce this image... you will be seeing more of this in the future... including a  step by step photo tutorial when I re-create it later on in the week....
But for now... I will draw your attention to the most perfect papers for such an image....

They are to be found in the free Wild Flower Meadows Sale A Bration papers (choose a pack for free with every £45 ordered until 31st March. Many other items available!) I squealed when I saw these!

The paper used on the base is also in there... and just in case you are wondering where it is!!! I just got my blender pens and ink pads out and added a bit of colour to tie everything in...
