Petal Passion Double Pop Out Swing Mothers Day Card for Fancy Fold Friday...

So this Petal Passion Double Pop Out Swing card is my Mothers Day card for my own mother this year... as she does prefer just neutrals... though I might just give it some Crumb Cake Stampin Blends action before it goes... oh gosh it is Mother's Day this Sunday in the UK!

And I would never get away with the MUM Springtime Foils version shared earlier here... as it just has to be MUMMY!! Though I never call her that anymore of course... it is always Grandma... or Mother when I am exasperated!
But I do prefer the front of this version... with the word MY when closed... and then MUMMY when you open it... as in My Mummy!
Dressing simply using Petal Passion papers... Large Letters die cut letters on Lots of Labels die cut frames... with a small & simple stamped Happy Mothers Day (from the can't be without Teeny Tiny  Sentiments - aka TT Wishes - stamp set) on the letter M in the centre panel...

Easter Treats for Jems March Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Jems Team Blog Hop from Amanda Bates at The Craft Spa...

Officially the theme is anything for Spring or Easter... but for me it had to be something for a treat with chocolate in! Caramel chocolate of course! Though any of the small easter egg treats would fit...

And a re-visit of a Craft Spa Scalloped Tag Topper Punch classic for you... just click here for the Tutorial... for Charlie Chick! (as the lovely Doreen nicknamed him)
With a very simple update for 2018... as somewhat unusually... everything is still current for my little Easter treat project... apart from the Wide Oval Punch... though we now have the Layering Ovals or Stitched Shapes dies to do the same job...

So just an update to the greeting really... Crushed Curry HAPPY from Perennial Birthday... plus Pumpkin Pie EASTER from Teeny Tiny Sentiments (aka Teeny Tiny Wishes for those of you in the US) ... both partial greetings...so simply marker inked as required...

And of course... containing a Caramel Egg instead of a Creme Egg... so DS will be happy!

And I have to laugh... as it is amazing how many characters Charlie Chick takes on depending on the angle of the camera lens... particularly as I am looking at about 15 photos...

Some look more feminine... some more masculine... some more cheeky... some more aloof...

Kind of like an e-Moji on chocolate ... Reckon I will now call him e-Chicki!! Now there would be an idea if only I had more hours in the day!!
And now it is time to say Happy Easter & Goodbye from me... and Hello & Springtime Welcome to the lovely Uma... just click on the arrow below to go straight to her Springtime post...
And in case of any early link gremlins... or if you prefer to hop back and forth from a list... here you go...

Double Pop Up Swing card for Mothers Day...

Quick post today... but I wanted to share one of my brand new card fold designs, a Double Pop Up Swing card... aka Double Lever Card... though I will be back another day with more details...

Rather a lot of snow has fallen in these parts... which has changed my plans somewhat this week... and my husbands a lot! Don't think he has ever not got to work for 2 days (so far!) before... but it has been lovely watching all the families with young kids wandering around the village pulling sledges... the street has been a lot busier with bodies than usual!
So decoratively on this card ... I used...

Smoky Slate cardstock... and Springtime Foils papers ... yours exclusively for free with every £45 ordered during the Sale A Bration promotion until 31st March. This time the beautiful silver foil stripe and the gorgeous silver foil leafy patterned papers...

And quite a lot of stamps, punches and dies...

Lots of Labels dies for the apertures...
Labels to Love stamped frame punched out with the Everyday Label Punch ... which co-ordinates well with the Lots of Labels shape...

Along with Brushwork Alphabet stamps for MUM & Teeny Tiny Sentiments (aka Teeny Tiny Wishes on other parts of the world) for the Mothers Day greeting... in a Thoughtful Banners frame... which is punched out with the Classic Label Punch

And finished off with a vellum Sweet Soiree Embellishment with the leaves coloured in using a non-SU! gold Signo gel pen to match the small gold foil leaves in the papers...
I am really pleased how this card fold turned out... What do you think?

Case-ing me... Lots to Love Hot Lips...

Well I spotted a pin last night on good old Pinterest that gave me a surprise! 8300+ repins of my Groovy Hot Lips Valentine card made 3 years ago... WoW!

And I happened to still have the Lots to Love Box dies out...so I thought a quick re-make was in order...

I still prefer the original ... though I think a larger lips idea would be better if I had used the swirlier heart die in the Sweet & Sassy set... maybe next year!

Celebrating Love with a Teeny Tiny Trio for the Jems Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the monthly Jems Blog Hop celebrating Love...
For my share today... I decided to stay on my theme of cards for Valentines Day... as I always have to make a couple of card designs for my ladies to make in classes at this time of year... though I do usually make the cards ones that can be easily varied to make a Wedding or Wedding Anniversary card instead...

I re-sized the very popular and much visited Pop Out Swing card... so I have a new mini Pop Out Swing card fold to share with you today... A7 card sized... too cute! And yes... I will be back with a Tutorial sometime soon...
I used the Sure Do Love you stamps... along with the Lots to Love Box dies... which are available as a bundle with 10% off...in both clear mount and wood mount...

But then I carried on creating for a few minutes... and made some small and simple cards that would be suitable for more bulk makes if you are on a mission to create cards for a large group...

Another A7 sized card...
And a small square aperture card... adding the small sentiment from the good old staple, Teeny Tiny Sentiments
And so here is your Teeny Tiny Trio to celebrate love...
And now it is time to say Goodbye... and to pass you onto the lovely Karen Watts. Just press on the arrow to hop along to see what lovely project she has made to share with you...

Hap-Panda New Year to you!

Couldn't resist that title! All in the spirit of wishing you a very Happy New Year... and may 2018 be your best year yet...

So not one... but three... Sale A Bration exclusive goodies have come out to play to create this card... you know the ones ... one free with every £45 you order from 3rd January to 31st March 2018...
First up... the Party Pandas have come out to party... after all... it is what they do best...

Second up... Amazing You for the larger greetings and the firework effect behind my middle panda...

Third up... Bubbles & Fizz designer series paper to dress my card...

The card is a Swing Easel card... which has been an incredibly popular card for visitors over the past  year... You will find the 12x12 tutorial here...and the modified A4 version here... though this time I cut the top paper and stuck it on before I started all the cutting...
The Happy New Year greeting is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments ( aka Teeny Tiny Wishes in some areas of the world) and the 2018 is created using Labeler Alphabet...

And before I go for the year... don't forget...
(1) Today is the last day to reserve your Stamparatus... otherwise you will be waiting till June to order... Click here to reserve ... and/or here for the full details...
(2) To request your Spring Summer catalogue UK Product Shares...click here...
(3) To order your Spring Summer catalogue UK Paper Swatch books... click here...

And a final word to thank you for all your support during 2017... my blog wouldn't be what it is without your daily visits to spur me on... and particularly your lovely comments and feedback too... thank you so so much... and I look forward to more creating, sharing and inspiring in 2018...

Stitched Felt Embellishment peg...

Simple and sweet today... a quick dressing of a wooden peg to say a little thank you...

Stitched Felt embellishments tree...
Stitched Felt Embellishments
Tiny 1/8" Real Red Ribbon bow... and a glittery pot using the Christmas Lampost dies (ie the lamp glass trio die... the one to the right of the bow at the bottom...)
Christmas Lamppost Thinlits Dies
Really quick... really sweet... and lots of "ahh"s and "so cute"s going on when shared in the flesh... and some more going to be made very soon... going to be a night of tiny bows tonight!

Though future ones will have a black pot... or a star... or holly!
PS I can't remember which set the greeting came from... as the pegs were actually stamped a long time ago! But nowadays... I would just use Teeny Tiny Sentiments (also known as Teeny Tiny Wishes in other parts of the world)

Balloon Celebration Dandelions Simple Easel Card

So this is the image potential that sold this set to me at first sight! Think you could say I have a thing about the blowing of dandelions in the wind!
I am delighted that the 2 little seed images can be used to produce this image... you will be seeing more of this in the future... including a  step by step photo tutorial when I re-create it later on in the week....
But for now... I will draw your attention to the most perfect papers for such an image....

They are to be found in the free Wild Flower Meadows Sale A Bration papers (choose a pack for free with every £45 ordered until 31st March. Many other items available!) I squealed when I saw these!

The paper used on the base is also in there... and just in case you are wondering where it is!!! I just got my blender pens and ink pads out and added a bit of colour to tie everything in...

Silver Glimmer Bloomin Heart Covered Box Frame Card

Here is the Part 2 to my Part 1 post the other day....
But first an admission.... as most of you probably won't have seen the Part 1 post... as my blog posts have proven somewhat haphazard for the past week... scheduling just not being as I planned... two posts some days... Mother's Day when a Valentine card should have appeared...and so on... yup... no logic whatsoever... just what happened! So I hope things get back to normal from now on!!
So Part 1 was the inside of the Box Frame card... and Part 2 is the front cover to finish it off...
The silver glimmer heart being cut from the silver glimmer square panel which was then used on the front cover... along with a white heart and a black heart cut from a black square panel...
This black heart was then in turn used to create Part 3... the black butterfly card shared earlier (which was also not in the planned sequence of posts!!)
Hence why that little card took me less than a minute!!

Banner from Number of Years/ Large Numbers dies...
Greeting from Teeny Tiny Sentiments... still one of my favourite greeting sets (until a Humongously Huge Sentiments set comes along!!!! Note... VERY wishful thinking on my part here!!!!! )

Bright and Beautiful Corner Garden

OK... so I was set a challenge... to go bright with those beautiful flowers in the Corner Garden image..

And so here is the result... still with the gold embossing...but direct marker colouring of the flowers ... so really bright! Adult colouring at its best...as you can do it over and over again.... #arttherapy
Actually reminds me of some painted china that used to be around...

And I love the Watercolor Wings butterflies with their gold tips and bodies... they really pop!
And a product highlight for you... the Adhesive Remover aka the Mistake Rubber Outer!

I am sure that you will all have the sense to have this little must have item.. I definitely wouldn't be without it...and I do use it a lot...

I do find that I wreck lots of my makes  - right at the last minute - with a careless straying of a glue covered finger.... and that is SO annoying....

So here is the Before (see left above the foil mat - above the stalk of the red flowers) Lovely big glue splat!!
And here is the After - glue be gone - MAGIC - phew!
Rather glad I was set this challenge... I actually love the final result! Just goes to show that you can't go wrong with this Corner Garden stamp set
