So although ours is long gone... it is Mothers Day in the US today... and in a few other countries too... so a perfect opportunity to share this card that I made a while ago... and to wish everyone a lovely Mothers Day - or just a lovely Sunday... wherever you may be...
So another Double Pop Out Swing Card... for which you will find other versions and the Tutorial here...
Note that this was the first prototype card I made to test the new card fold I had designed... and that I just used the Everyday Label punch to create the apertures on this one...
I then quickly brought out the Lots of Labels dies for the follow up cards... as getting the apertures central and straight was a bit hit and miss with just the punch! Shame!
Stampin Up Products used
Petal Passion papers
Labels to Love stamps
Thoughtful Banners stamps
Brushwork Alphabet stamps
Everyday Label Punch
Lots of Labels dies (not used on this sample... but makes the card easier!)

Petal Passion Double Pop Out Swing Mothers Day Card for Fancy Fold Friday...
So this Petal Passion Double Pop Out Swing card is my Mothers Day card for my own mother this year... as she does prefer just neutrals... though I might just give it some Crumb Cake Stampin Blends action before it goes... oh gosh it is Mother's Day this Sunday in the UK!
And I would never get away with the MUM Springtime Foils version shared earlier here... as it just has to be MUMMY!! Though I never call her that anymore of course... it is always Grandma... or Mother when I am exasperated!
But I do prefer the front of this version... with the word MY when closed... and then MUMMY when you open it... as in My Mummy!
Dressing simply using Petal Passion papers... Large Letters die cut letters on Lots of Labels die cut frames... with a small & simple stamped Happy Mothers Day (from the can't be without Teeny Tiny Sentiments - aka TT Wishes - stamp set) on the letter M in the centre panel...

Double Pop Up Swing card for Mothers Day...
Rather a lot of snow has fallen in these parts... which has changed my plans somewhat this week... and my husbands a lot! Don't think he has ever not got to work for 2 days (so far!) before... but it has been lovely watching all the families with young kids wandering around the village pulling sledges... the street has been a lot busier with bodies than usual!
Smoky Slate cardstock... and Springtime Foils papers ... yours exclusively for free with every £45 ordered during the Sale A Bration promotion until 31st March. This time the beautiful silver foil stripe and the gorgeous silver foil leafy patterned papers...
And quite a lot of stamps, punches and dies...
Lots of Labels dies for the apertures...
Labels to Love stamped frame punched out with the Everyday Label Punch ... which co-ordinates well with the Lots of Labels shape...
Along with Brushwork Alphabet stamps for MUM & Teeny Tiny Sentiments (aka Teeny Tiny Wishes on other parts of the world) for the Mothers Day greeting... in a Thoughtful Banners frame... which is punched out with the Classic Label Punch
And finished off with a vellum Sweet Soiree Embellishment with the leaves coloured in using a non-SU! gold Signo gel pen to match the small gold foil leaves in the papers...
I am really pleased how this card fold turned out... What do you think?

Update on a Winter Wonder simple classic...
Gosh thought I had shared this ages ago... but apparently not...
When I first shared this Super CAS Winter Wonder embossed card here... I admitted that I would have preferred an additional greeting... but that some of my ladies are rather nervous with direct stamping & heat embossing! So I didn't add anything at the time...

- addition of a silver embossed Snowflake Sentiments greeting...
- addition of a Champagne Foil die cut Seasonal Layers snowflake
- change in colourway from gold to silver... so silver ribbon, punched Year of Cheer silver snowflake & a Clear Faceted Gem
All other details as provided here...
And still loving my Winter Wonder embossing folder for a simple but WOW effect on a card.. this one will be a keeper for sure...

What's in your Mini Pizza Box....
First of all ... a little update to my pizza box shared here... just the addition of the thin gold Year of Cheer washi tape above and below the thicker one ... makes it really pop!
But you should have seen everyone searching through the box trying to find the very thick gold rimmed washi tape!!
And after searching high and low for something sweet to pop inside as a treat... an almost great creative moment and a laugh for you...
So I found some Frangipannes which are the perfect size... that don't look particularly inviting... but that tasted delicious!
But I wanted to decorate them slightly! There is a white icing disc on the top... so I thought "I could stamp on that".... so I grabbed some food safe pens out of the cake decorating box (years of dust on that box!!) and carefully applied the red pen to a stamp... tried it out on a piece of paper and it worked!!
So over I went again... and stamped on the icing disc... #bigfail... what looked flat wasn't... so only part of the stamp image appeared!! Such a shame...
So I just punched a Year of Cheer snowflake and popped that on for display purposes!!
And I don't need to worry about anyone else eating the paper disc... too nice to get through this evening!! I am in need of a treat!!
And you can have another laugh on my behalf... I didn't want to get my Pizza Box dirty!! So I chopped up the plastic tray that 3 Frangipannes came in and made sure it fit!!
But back to mini cards and envelopes to pop in now!!

Mini Pizza Boxes anyone?
Designed to clothe and present very small square cards with the matching new 3" Square Whisper White Envelopes as a gift... or to pop a cookie in (or something) as they have a protective coating and are food safe...
But before I start on the details... a question for you! I have found a new editing function to "enhance" my photos... I am not sure which is best so this is a test post... so which do you prefer...?
The enhanced version... brighter & sharper but a bit "brasher" to my eye...
Or the non enhanced version... better shows the more subtle gold foiled finish of the snowflake... but looks hazy in comparison!?
Back to the project.... so this decoration was quick and simple... when armed with a few wonderful new products!!
Year of Cheer Washi Tape wrapped round the sides...
Quilt Top embossed Thick Whisper White card square on the lid... plus a gold Foil Snowflake...
Then a 1 3/8" punched snowflake from the Year of Cheer papers... and a Gold Faceted Gemstone at the centre...
Finished off with a gold embossed greeting from the Tabs for Everything set die cut with the smallest die in the Lots of Labels set...plus a small 1/8" Gold Ribbon bow as the very final touch...
Here they are in the blank...

Really love these... and I have quite a few ideas running around in my head using these boxes... just need to find some more hours in the day to create them.... maybe in October!

Winter Wonder embossing folder
And here is the new gorgeous large snowflake embossing folder we now have.... introducing Winter Wonder...
A large square (14.8cm/nearly 6") card with total emphasis on the beautiful embossed snowflake!! This embossed a treat using the updated Big Shot platform on Thick Whisper White card with no messing and no creasing... which made me very happy!
Though I now can't wait to show you the Winter Wonder card I will post tomorrow!!
Very very simply decorated with a circle punched snowflake from the stunning Year of Cheer papers (1 3/8" circle punch does the job perfectly) and a Gold Faceted Gem at the centre...
And finished off with a gold embossed greeting from the Tabs for Everything set die cut with the smallest die in the Lots of Labels set
Personally I would have embossed a large greeting to the bottom right... but a couple of my ladies go into panic with direct stamping & especially embossing...so I have been kind to them! They will enjoy making a few of these...
See how many snowflake centres you can punch out from the papers!! And 3 sheets in a pack....
Remember my Year of Cheer suite Launch offer if you want some of these lovely papers for yourself.... £36 for a Full Pack or £25 for a Half Pack. Plus P&P (£4.95 max) Valid till 15 September... and don't forget to add the embossing folder!

Simply Decorated Tissue Box for Julie...
So when I sent this card to my fellow team member and friend, Julie Wade 2 weeks ago... I was told that I owed her a box of tissues! So never one to shirk from my duties... I had to oblige... and I searched for the largest box that I could find... but I couldn't resist a quick decorative treatment before I handed them over at our Quarterly Training on Monday...
Stamping and punching of the label care of the new Label Me Pretty bundle (with Pretty Label punch) plus the 1 3/8" and 1 1/4" Circle Punches...

The top opening made using Lots of Labels dies... which I was so glad I remembered as they were perfect for this job... and for a few others I have planned over the next few weeks...

And the rest was just cutting and sticking of paper... Measure your top and sides. Take off 1/4" (or 1/2cm aka 5mm) off each of the measurements and cut paper to suit... and then just stick it on...
So for my record (as I will be making one of these again quite soon!)... My box was 9" Wide by 4 1/2" Deep x 2 3/4" High... so I cut my papers as follows...
- one x 8 3/4" x 4 1/4" for the top
- two x 8 3/4" x 2 1/2" for front & back
- two x 4 1/4" x 2 1/2" for the sides
And... apologies for sharing something made out of retired Floral Boutique papers... but the largest tissue box I could find was blue... so these papers had to be used... as co-ordination is very important to me!!
And now I am trying to find tissue boxes in the new In Colors (or white!) so I can use my lovely co-ordinating Fresh Florals papers (which do of course include these same patterns as in these Night of Navy Floral Boutique papers)
And lastly.... did these get used at training... oh yes! By more than one of us actually.... And are they still... oh yes! I have reason to believe that our lovely 💖Julie 💖may need some more soon.... Who knew when we signed up as demonstrators ... that a bit of stamping and sharing what we love could lead to such emotional highs and joys....
