It's been a while...

Since I last posted a creative share.... and wow I didn't realise how long a while!!! So so sorry... but normal Life bacame a tad too busy this year!

I have had a few people ask after me recently (thank you!)...  so I think it is high time I shared a few things to show I am still alive and still designing &creating new projects....

So Christmas makes first... all of which were made using either the gorgeous Green and Gold foiled papers ... OR Yuletide Village (now discontinued and unavailable) combined with the Frosted Forest  bundle...

Along with the online exclusives Greetings of the Season set (or various retired greetings sets I used before the new set arrived!)

First up - a trio of Yuletide Village & Frosted Forest cards... Diorama to the left... Snow Globe in the middle and a very simple Large Square Card to the right!

Merry Monday - It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Thought it high time for a creative christmassy share... so here we go...the first in a series...

Fo those of you that have been following my makes here for a long time... you will know that I am partial to a scenic landscape... probably with a few houses and some trees... with some snow thrown in at christmas time... so the new Autumn Winter catalogue and Online Exclusives give me products in abundance to satisfy my taste...

So I'm starting off with combining the wonderful Yuletide Village stamps and a die from the Frosted Trees bundle.... so very me!!

With a snow globe (or two!) for Heidi!

Base care of the toolbox die cut from the Trusty Tools dies! Perfect for the job!

Greetings care of random retired stamp sets... I have since bought the perfect set, Greetings of the Season... which will be used for my future makes!!

Still Scenes & Feels Like Frost Gap Card

Yes it had to be done! Thank you Heidi for listening and creating "this other idea in my head"... fabulous...

Click here for more details on the card and the Gap Card fold tutorial...
Any my apologies for brevity (and no links etc) for this post and over the last few days... but I was away for a long weekend for a special event (more on that later)... and I just ran out of time as I had 5 posts to write up!

And of course I couldn't explain at the time as that would announce to the world that I was away for a few days!!

Still Scenes and Feels Like Frost Pop Out Panel card

Original version of this card shared earlier... using the Still Scenes bundle which is so perfect if you love a snowglobe!

The card shared earlier being a variant for those few ladies in my classes that (actually!!!) don't like snowglobes...

And a few tips for  you...

This card is the perfect size for using the whole of a 6" wide piece of paper... but more on that another day...

Feels Like Frost paper panels to either side just sponged with Seaside Spray ink... but do remember to wipe off with a tissue when you finish... as you don't want ink everywhere!
I left the protective layer on the front sides and top of the snowglobe... as it is it is white so I reckon you can just get away with it! Slightly glossy of course but really not too bad... and much better than a mis-sized cover job!

And yes the card still folds flat(ish) to put in an envelope... standard C6 size...
