Wednesday Wow - Peaceful Place lit church & winter scene...

Loved creating this project for display at christmas time...

Using the Peaceful Place papers (sold out!),  Tombstone Treat boxes, Welcoming Window & Giving Gifts dies (sold out too)...  and a few battery tealights

As well as a lovely tray picked up from "Poundland"!! Though it did cost much more than £1....

Scraps on Sunday - Peaceful Place #2

Another card in my Peaceful Place suite class set... Love it when the scraps of one card make a quick base for another...

But before I start... an admin matter... regarding blog post notification emails not arriving... click HERE for details to rectify... or simply to subscribe to blog post notifications by email for the future....
So the die cut Stitched Rectangle aperture from this card creates the background sky...
Just add a die cut panel and a Stampin Blends coloured fussy cut house (from the Peaceful Place papers) to create a perfect little scene... Simples!

Fancy Fold Friday - Peaceful Place #1 - Concertina Diorama Card

Quick share of one of the cards featuring in my Peaceful Place suite class...

Set on a 5 layer Concertina Diorama card to set the peaceful 3D scene...

Edited to Add -  I have written up up a PDF tutorial bundle for 6 of my Peaceful Place cards... and I offer a Class in the (UK only) post too... See HERE for more details

Have to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed making this set of cards as not only is this  my favourite suite in the seasonal catalogue (well I have always loved creating a scene... and these papers are just perfect for that)

But I always love it when a product inspires some new card folds... but more of those on another day...

Thursday Threesome...

Love love love the Trimming the Town papers and Coming Home bundle for a quick scenic card...

Especially if you die cut the images in the papers... though they can be fussy cut instead!

Though I adore the die cut trees and snowbanks borders... so I wouldn't be without the die set!

Liked it so much... had to make three...

A little bit of Blender Pen colouring using Real Red, Pool Party, Old Olive & Soft Suede...

Greetings from Wrapped in Christmas... which is just fabulous for the season upon us...

Still Scenes & Feels Like Frost Gap Card

Yes it had to be done! Thank you Heidi for listening and creating "this other idea in my head"... fabulous...

Click here for more details on the card and the Gap Card fold tutorial...
Any my apologies for brevity (and no links etc) for this post and over the last few days... but I was away for a long weekend for a special event (more on that later)... and I just ran out of time as I had 5 posts to write up!

And of course I couldn't explain at the time as that would announce to the world that I was away for a few days!!

Feels Like Frost Acetate Tent Card #2

Oh it had to be done!

Back to my original idea... with the piece of Feels Like Frost paper that I wish I could just buy a whole 48 sheet pack of...
Just changed up the Mossy Meadow to Pretty Peacock for the stamping of this version... yum!

Though interestingly virtually everyone - who saw the card in the flesh - thought that the previous version had been stamped in gold ( rather than  Mossy Meadow)

Oh and an In the Woods die cut snow curve at the top instead of the Seasonal Layers scallop top
Simply perfect!

More details on the card recipe etc here...

Feels Like Frost Acetate Tent Card for Fun & Fancy Fold Friday

Knew I had to create an Acetate Tent card the minute I saw the beautiful wintery scene papers in the Feels Like Frost paper pack...
Just don't know why it took me so long to get around to actually making it!!
And here is the original purple snowflake version Jill!!! Which I had to quickly remove as it appears that I just can't do with purple snowflakes... even though they co-ordinated beautifully....
And I did initially mean to use the other scenic piece of paper in the pack... but I had already used it!

Ooh... something else to share that I thought I had already!! Tomorrow then....

Lots of lovely Stampin Up ! products used in the making of this card... including Dashing Deer, Winter Woods and Greatest Part of Christmas stamps with Frosted Frames, Detailed Deer, Seasonal Layers and In The Woods dies... and Feels Like Frost papers (now out of stock in Europe!)

Simple Spirited Snowmen for Merry Monday

I think I had better put these cute Spirited Snowmen stamps out of sight... as I just couldn't resist putting another quick card together!

Especially as... the snowmen were ready!... the square frame was already cut...the Winter Woods die cut spindly tree lay there all glittered and ready to go...  the Twinkle Twinkle paper panel was already cut to size (aka leftovers!) ... so I just needed to hand cut a curvy snowy bank...
And stamp the greeting!

And then I had another thought... and added a bit of holly too...
But which one do you prefer? With or without holly...

Spirited Snowmen in the Snow...

Just sharing the slightly tweaked version of Joanne's card made by my ladies in classes this week...

As the colours had to change based on what I already had out...
And I used the lovely sentiment from the Spirited Snowmen set...

The "snow banks" are just hand torn pieces of Thin Whisper White sponged along the edge with Pool Party ink... and then Tombow and Dazzling Diamonds Stampin Glitter added to finish... with more glitter being added to the trees too...

And you can actually get away with less white card for those hand torn snowbanks... but I cut the panel the same size as the panel for stamping and sponging the night sky for 2 reasons...
(1) gave my ladies another bank if needed in an emergency (though only one lady re-did a bank as she wasn't happy with one)
(2) easier to prep that way!
SU! Products used
Stamps - Spirited Snowmen, Lovely as a Tree, Hearts Come Home
Card - Night of Navy (A6 Card Blank), (Thin) Whisper White (14. 2 x 9.9cm x 2)

Stampin Blends - Light Black, Dark Smoky Slate, Night of Navy combo, Real Red combo, Shaded Spruce combo, Light Pool Party

Lovey Dovey Snowmen Couple In the Woods!

Had to be done whilst the Spirited Snowman were out and I was demonstrating another Bridge U Fold card in classes this week...

Thanks to the lovely and talented Joanna Wragg for some brilliant inspiration... but more on that another day!
Spirited Snowmen comes in both Wood Mount and Clear Mount... and I am loving them!!! Who would have thought...
Spirited Snowmen Wood-Mount Stamp Set
Used with In the Woods dies for those "spindly trees" to the left and right...  both cut at the same time... which is a real treat to be able to do... then a sprinkling of Stampin Glitter to finish them off...
In the Woods Framelits Dies
Which co-ordinate with the lovely Winter Woods stamps that I have been using a lot... that also come in clear mount or wood mount...
Winter Woods Wood-Mount Stamp Set
Bridge U Fold Card tutorial here... And yes the card does fold totally flat to go in an envelope...
Really do think this must still be favourite card fold ever!! In all its versions...
