Fancy Fold Friday - Small Square Double W Fold card

Time for another variant... one which will be a go-to size for me... a small square aka 10.5cm square...aka 4 1/8" square...

Using the gorgeous Dainty Flowers papers that so many of you earnt for free during the Sale A Bration promotion... but no longer available sadly! As they are SO pretty!

Again... I used the A La Mode dies and Alphabest stamp & punch bundle ... along with the Stitched Rectangles dies...

Simply Elegant Elegantly Said! And Order cut off today...

Keeping it simple... keeping it elegant... in Evening Evergreen with just a touch of shine care of Gold & Copper embossing powder and Gold Foil sheets...   

And I think you maybe seeing a lot of this new In Color... could be my new black! And just think how fantastic it is going to be for christmas makes!

So easy to achieve such elegance with the Elegantly Said stamps ... and the Stitched Rectangles dies...

By the way... having now used the papers .. there are Whisper White as well as Very Vanilla backgrounds and features... so I now intend to send both colours in your kit not just Very Vanilla...  unless you prefer otherwise... Oh... and you will get both gold and silver trim (that omission was a typo that I have only just spotted!!) so the above Kit flyer image has been updated accordingly...

Something Special for the Weekend... Pop out Panel Card

Couple of back to back posts this weekend... as one creation creates the other!

Starting off with a favourite in last week's classes... for a special birthday... featuring Noble Peacock Papers & Foils, Stitched Stars dies, Stitched Rectangles dies, Itty Bitty Birthday... and retired Large Numbers dies...

Such a quick and easy card... and suitable for any age group... male/female...and most occasions... No idea why I hadn't made this one up before! And I reckon a few more to grace these pages as time moves on!! So more on this another day!

In the meantime... I just snipped the Stitched Rectangle between the 2 words on the greeting...so then it could pop behind the numbers... and be totally readable!!

Piece of Cake card duo... and Back in Stock...

 

Happy to tell you that the Cake Builder Punch (and therefore the Piece of Cake bundle with 10% off) is now back in stock in Europe and so available to order...

So to celebrate this fact... here is a project we made earlier and have been keeping back!

However be warned... it is already low in stock... so I hope that there are plenty more on the next (15th April) delivery! Or it will be going unorderable again!

And as a final Stock related update for today... as I might as well get all the bad(ish) news out of the way at the same time!!

Storage by Stampin' Up! is proving very popular... and so it is likely that it will go out of stock... become unorderable... then come in stock and be available to order again... and so on!

So if it is a must have for you... order sooner rather than later! Not that we have an imminent likelihood... so don't panic... but it is likely to happen as the weeks and months roll by!

I personally can't wait for mine to turn up (as I was not messing around!! There is only one other thing that gets me as inspired as new Stampin Up products... and that is... yes you have guessed it... Storage! And I think this system will rove incredibly popular)

Wednesday When ... Something Old Meets Something New...

And you have a perfect match... for a simple, quick but stylish card...

Love it when that happens...

And a card that I couldn't have made before (well not without a lot of faff ... and lots of potential for going wrong!!)

So this is what you get when you use your new Rectangle Stitched dies...

With your old and well loved Flourishing Phrases...

Though I have to admit that the flower  to the top left has been added to cover a boo-boo!! The flower being cut within the flower (see bottom left) to make it smaller than the original... along those inner "guidelines" you can see.... as the original design is far too large for the notecard...

As yes... on the very last finishing touch of the card... I inked and stamped my pair of leaves the wrong way round at that corner... you should have heard me scream... especially as it was the second card I made today with a last minute boo boo! I then gave up after these two for today!!!

Along with your Gold embossing powder, Versamark Ink, Heat Tool and Embossing Buddy! On a ready made Whisper White Note-card & Envelope (20 per pack) ... Simples!

So I will be back with another version (as I love the design!)  and the details another day... as I don't need to confuse you with something that went wrong!
