Double Tin of Tags!

An easily overlooked gem or two...the Tin of Tags and the Tin of Tags! My ladies loved making these for their christmas wrapping stash ... and I was able to be much quieter than usual!

First up the Tin of Tags kit of 30 tags in a tin... 3 each of 10 designs... a lovely little crafty pursuit for an hour or two in the evening at home.... definitely quick and easy.... highly recommended... and Stampin Up! have even provided you with a video should you get stuck!

And here is what you get in the kit

And then the Tin of Tags stamp set... co-ordinates perfectly with the Tin kit as that is how it is intended to be used... but such a fabulous greeting set for Christmas in any case!! I have used it loads... and yay! 25% off for you this month.... £19 RRP reduced to just £14.25... Don't miss it!

I did change a few of my tags from the specified originals... some for birthday wishes (or other occasions) ... and a few colour switches... but I have never been able to follow a recipe to the letter!!!

And did you spot my decorated tin!! Don't think you can miss this on the shelf... What would I do without my Large Letters dies...

Beary Merry Cookie Cutter Christmas!

After the popularity of my dress up Baby Bears... I just couldn't resist dressing up my Cookie Cutter Bear as Santa...

Silly but cute! And caused a laugh amongst the serious art of cardmaking in my classes!

Also used Candy Cane Lane papers and Tin of Tags stamps for the sentiment

Snowboard Santa! And New Special Promotions

So a bit of surprise snowy mayhem...

But first... this week's Special Promotions... available today until Wed 14 September. Click on either picture to go to the details...

I have no idea what goes on in my head sometimes... but this card just had to be made...

Snowboard and snow from Mountain Adventure... Well I can see a modern Santa delivering presents on a snowboard instead of a sleigh....

Tin of Tags greetings again (loving this stamp set and no... I haven't even made up a tag yet!)

And introducing... Cookie Cutter stamped and punched Santa... have to say that this set is proving extremely popular...

Actually I know a lot of people that this would amuse... so it will be one of my family & friends bulk cards this year...

And ...just for the purposes of research... here is the before version...without the snow...

Candy Cane Christmas & Candy Cane Lane

So whilst I had the watercolor paper and aquapainter out... I had to produce another card...

Another cut out house from my favourite Candy Cane Lane papers...

Greeting same as on yesterday's birdhouse card too

Finished off with 3 trees stamped from the Candy Cane Christmas set... in Crumb Cake , Real Red & Early Espresso

Simples but very effective in the flesh...

Tweaking the Candy Cane Lane Birdhouse Card

Thank you for all your lovely comments about my birdhouse card yesterday... I am glad so many of you like it as much as I do...

So yesterday I admitted that I had already been tweaking my Candy Cane Lane Bird House card... so I think you may like this one too...

I just grabbed some watercolor paper, Pool Party ink and an Aquapainter...and gave it a good old random watercolor wash...

Everything else the same as yesterday's card... though I did forget to tell you a few details yesterday...

Greeting inked up with Pool Party ink pad, then inked up Christmas with a Real Red marker pen...and the rest with an Early Espresso marker pen...

The Seasonal Bells plant pot described in more detail  here... but I used Early Espresso card and ink...

And the Soft Suede wood post is wood-textured by stamping the Timeless Textures wood effect stamp in Soft Suede

And oh ... the inspiration for this card came when I was making this one...

Now which do you prefer? Wash or white!?

And oh... you may have noticed that the white version has had a little dressing up too... care of Fine Tip glue and clear Mica Flakes on the roof...

Candy Cane Lane Christmas Birdhouse...

Quick share today... birdhouse from Candy Cane Lane papers... greeting from Tin of Tags... birds from Thoughtful Branches... bow from Holly Berry Happiness... and pot from Seasonal Bells... Come back tomorrow for more details as to how...

Love it so much I have just made another on the same theme today... will be back to share that one soon when I have had a chance to take some photos!

Remember 56 houses in a pack of papers... that is a lot of easy cards!

Introducing.... Candy Cane Lane Suite

Introducing my favourite papers from the new Autumn Winter Catalogue... Candy Cane Lane... gingerbread house, gingerbread men, stripes, mittens, snowy dots, and sweets...

Actually I think these papers might just be my favourite Christmas papers ever... and many of them can be used all-year-round as well!

I love this simple little card... The houses on the card are just cut from a paper sheet... The house on the right hand side being cut out from the edge...so absolutely no waste! And you get 56 full houses from a pack of papers... now that delivers a lot of cards...

The greeting is from the new Tin of Tags stamp set...

This is designed to co-ordinate with the Tin of Tags kit to simply produce 30 tags... great tags...and I love the gorgeous little polka dot tin... But the greetings are just too nice to not use on cards too...

And before I go here are the other products in the Candy Cane suite... Just click on the photos to go to the product details...

And watch out for more details on my Candy Cane Suite Pack...coming soon...
